I ordered some chicken tenders fries two original KFC chicken wings, a bottle of water and some of those new mini apple turnovers and I was very very disappointed because the chicken tenders were dry overcooked the chicken wings were the same dry overcooked the french fries were hard and the bottle of water was frozen and the apple Turner's were Rock hard and flaky, and they just crumbled up. read more

I went to this KFC today and this will be my last time. I ordered an all white meat, 8 piece meal. I ordered 4 breasts and 4 wings. Before I left with my order, I reconfirmed with the KFC manager who packed my meal that I had four breasts and four wings. She verbalized that is what she packed for me. After I returned home, I found she had lied to my face. She had decided to give me only 3 breasts and 1 thigh when I had paid for four breasts. In my opinion, this is STEALING! This place is MUCH better after the renovations. It went from a nasty old, gross chicken/taco joint to a clean place that's actually conducive to eating. Definite props for the much improved interiors, but the service remains sketchy. Things move quickly only when there's nobody else around. Otherwise, things grind to a halt, especially during lunchtime when it's obvious their limited staffing shows how ill-equipped they are to handle high volume lunch traffic. The chicken was dry and the original recipe breading had zero flavor. Additionally, the four biscuits were tiny and tough to chew. please dont ever go to this kfc if you want your food in a timely order or preppared in a clean way. i worked there and the grease doesnt get changed for three weeks. some of the employees dont use gloves when serving food. the floor is so greasy i almost fell a bunch of time. the managers will yell at the employees and the customer. i watched people wait an hour for their food yesterday. it was only my second day on the job yesterday and i quit because it was such a toxic environment and so dirty that i did not want to be a part of serving peoples food like that read more

The people should have been RETRAINED. If you have EVER been to this KFC, especially at DINNER time, you can WAIT 30 MINUTES ! (NO LIE) for your order to be given to you. Tonight was no different. There was literally 10 couples waiting 20+ mins. I literally saw one lady with her KFC chicken ready wait for 35+ mins, while she waited on ONE TACO and not until 35 mins later did the manager scream in the back to get the one taco to her was she "GIVEN THE RIGHT TO LEAVE!" There was another customer who was waiting on 2 simple tacos, and he waited 15+ mins. Another customer complained his order was not done for 20+ mins, his chicken was ready but there was NO COLE SLAW to give him! They have these nice tables and cubby holes for sauces and the like for Taco Bell, but guess what, THEY DONT HAVE ANY SAUCES because they NEVER ORDERED IT! All the cubby holes are EMPTY. Have you ever see the Popeyes on teaneck road? Have you see the spread and the length and width they hold their chicken? They also put this round table for standing room directly behind the cash registers where the line USED to wrap. So this monster is completely in the way now and there is no way for a line to form properly. The tables in there was also literred with Taco meat and chesse and no one cleaned it. Also, while this entire fiasco was going on with people working. A single worker (manager?) was standing in the back watching the whole entire thing blowing ballons up (for what?) -- why not get behing the counter while it is busy and lend a hand. I never understood who owned this place, if they really care, do they care.. But they must care a little because they renovated the place and invested the money into that. NOW RETRAIN YOUR STAFF or HIRE COMPLETELY NEW STAFF. They are inefficient, lazy or at worse, not trained. A one star rating is too high for this establishment. This KFC also includes a Taco Bell which doesn't help the fact this place is so bad. The food is what you would expect since it is a franchise with all your Taco Bell and KFC favorites. What you wouldn't expect is how unsanitary this place is. I would go as far to sat that this is the dirtiest restaurant in all of Fort Lee. During one visit, we saw the roof was leaking right in front of the soda dispenser! Two words can describe this, annoying and gross! Gave the place a second chance and as we sat down to eat, I saw a small bug crawling on my friend's hard taco wrapper. Fortunately he finished his meal but who knows if one of those little buggers slipped by in to his taco. The staff is hit or miss. I personally believe that they realize what a dump this place has become and wonder why people would eat here.
