I mean , I know that all restaurants are suppose to clean their soda machine regularly if not everyday because of how dirty these machines can get. I've been here 3 times in two months and the machine is dirty as all hell. The Pepsi looks like seltzer water every time. Watching the staff is more then irritating because they move slower then molasses. While I'm here I've witnessed 1 women complain that she's been waiting for 22 min and when she finally got her food it was completely wrong. She got her money back and left. read more

Dining area was recently renovated and is largely clean. The soda fountain/napkin/sauce areas and the visible kitchen are dirty/messy. Food is inconsistent, both in quality and quantity. Cole slaw, one of their staples, should not vary so much. Last cashier I had was nice but she was the exception. The manager takes a backseat and remains quiet and invisible as the younger, inexperienced staff must shoulder the load. Menu is too large and confusing, especially pricing. I wish I could simply build my meal package (chicken, side,etc) on my own than navigate the unnecessarily complex combo offerings. Cashier will not help you figure out price of individual items because that requires entering in the register and canceling the entry. The cashier claims he is docked for such cancelled entries during the ordering process so I need to order it if he enters something. That was the strangest response I have ever had from a worker at a fast food restaurant. read more

Don't bother with this KFC! The staff is rude and take no pride in their work. I placed an order with them on grubhub, the order got delayed twice over 2 hours. I called grubhub and they said the restaurant was closed, i told them I had the restaurant on the other line. The employee told me that if I wanted the food so bad to come down and get it myself. Unfortunately because I have a job I give a crap about, I couldn't go down because my lunch was already over. I love fried chicken, but my appetite disappears when I think about going to this KFC. The last time I went, I made the mistake of using the rest room. I almost threw up my meal. I will spare you by not going into detail, but it was the worst (#1 on my list) in terms of dirtiest restaurants I've ever been to... and I've been to some dirty restaurants. Also, on top of this, my kid was given an expired string cheese in his kids' meal. When I approached an employee to point it out, they had the gall to claim that the date on the package was the manufacture date. It wasn't. Disgusting -- I felt like the chicken was a few days old. The chicken skin was soggy on both the original and the extra crispy. I ended up removing all the skin and eating the chicken inside, but even that was dissatisfying. The Taco Bell Doritos Locos Taco Supremes were not bad -- not amazingly fresh and delicious, just ok. The shells broke too easily and they were a mess to eat. This experience did not re-ignite my nostalgia for Taco Bell. read more

Okay, they finally re-opened again. I dont think they remodeled, but the staff has been completely retrained. Food is fast. Service is awesome. I ordered KFC for my daughters we ordered grilled they gave me crispy I returned it and instead of throwing it away as they are supposed to she just put it right back into the pile of fresh chicken not knowing what anyone could have done to that chicken. My son ordered a 12 pack and asked for fire sauce the women looked at him and gave him what she wanted, when he went back up to ask for more she was very bothered and shoved a stack of the fire sauce in his hands and began laughing. My thought if you don't like your job you should not be working there or better yet you should have gotten your education and looked for a better job. I've lived in fort Lee for most of my life and I ate KFC here ever since I became a resident. I've seen the workers here come and go but one worker named Kyra is the worst thing that happened to this place. I understand that KFC would hire pretty much anyone but how the fuck do you expect me to communicate with someone who look high all the time and cannot speak English. This place is undoubtedly the worst KFC I have ever been to. I understand it's fast food, but this place is a flaming train wreck that's crashed in to a school for puppies. I, along with about 15 other people waited in line for 15 maybe 20 minutes while the staff chatted and argued over orders. Then when I finally get to the counter, a family of 7 walks in and must be friends with an employee because they immediately began laughing and talking in Spanish. No one could understand what they were saying but it was pretty clear that they cut the entire line because they got 7 orders immediately brought to them and then continued their chat acting as if the packed line wasn't there. When I confronted the employees I was laughed at by the employee and her friend and most likely bad mouthed in Spanish. Myself and half the line walked out on them. I've called their corporate office to complain. Totally unreal. Doesn't even begin to mention how filthy the place was and the fact that I saw employees not wearing gloves, hair nets and actually running their hands through their hair and touching their face and then peoples food as well as cash from the register. Food was what I expected, but restaurant was a mess, non-functional bathroom and ice machine, and certain areas of service needed improvement. Had to wait 10 mins to get service, while the female employee at the cash register carried on a conversation with some guy sitting by the window, that had nothing to do with any order. There were 2 or 3 clear plastic bags of garbage on the floor of the dining area that sat there for ten mins before they were removed. Some of the table tops were obviously not wiped clean. The ice component of the soft drink dispensing machine was broken, so the staff person said "Oh we don't have any ice right now." How can you operate a restaurant without ice? Also, the men's bathroom was out of order (health code violation?), something wrong with the toilet, and staff were working on it with the bathroom door wide open, so everybody sitting at dining tables could eat their meals while staring into the bathroom at a (clogged?) toilet. Made the food extra appetizing. And then you had your Fort Lee teenagers coming in to take turns using the women's bathroom (no purchase, of course). Won't go back to this restaurant again. Hello, today I went to Taco Bell in Fort Lee, NJ excited and happy, but I left very disappointed, disrespected, and sad as a loyal customer. I am a huge fan and I love Taco Bell it is definitely one of my favorite places to eat especially when I am on the go and need fast service. I went into this Taco Bell in Fort Lee, NJ and I wasn't greeted. I took two separate orders. My two orders took 20 minutes to be done. My boyfriend and me are vegetarian and vegan. I was very friendly with this unprofessional staff and I was very patient. I repeated my orders many times to the cashier. I ordered my boyfriends meals and thought everything was all good to go. I paid and got my receipt and then I ordered mine with similar meals that I had ordered for my boyfriend. The cashier made a mistake with my 1st order for my boyfriend thinking that Taco Bell didn't sell Rice and black beans small bowl. He insisted that I was wrong and the company didn't sell this product. I didn't argue and It made me sad to know that I have shopped at Taco Bell many times and I have always brought rice and black beans bowl. I am knowledgable with this product but I didn't want to argue about him being wrong. The manager came and fixed the problem by just taking the employee of the cashier and putting him in the back to clean but she is didn't acknowledge the price difference. There was a price difference and I wasn't aware of it until I got home. When I received the food in Taco Bell, my boyfriends food was messed up and not what I ordered another employee that worked there came up to me and said "WHAT !?" She was very rude and disrespectful. I have never been treated like that in any restaurants before. I told her nicely if she can put sour cream on my boyfriends meal and fix it. She then scolded me and said " YOU NEED TO SAY WHAT YOU WANT EXACTLY IN YOUR MEAL AND IF YOU WANTED SUPREME YOU SHOULD'VE SAID THAT AND ITS NOT OUR FAULT FOR YOU NOT SAYING IT!" She was very mean and as a victim I ignored her rude remarks and just replied with " No Problem and a smile." I knew I wasn't wrong but I was afraid at that moment to fight with anyone in this Taco Bell because of her reaction and I just wanted what I ordered. Another employee then came up to me and said " OH I'M SORRY SHE IS MEAN LIKE THAT DON'T TAKE IT PERSONAL." I didn't understand why this was happening to me. She then gave me the food and I left to my home but I didn't get to check my order. When I got home my boyfriend reviewed his receipt and realized his payment and order didn't add up and when I checked my food everything was completely messed up. The food wasn't edible because it wasn't what I ordered and it was cold. I told the cashier I wanted all my meals that I ordered without cheese and meat. When I saw all my meals they were all stale, cold, all had cheese, and no sauces. It looked very sloppy and not pleasing to eat. I felt as if it was intentional from this staff. I don't know what I did to deserve this. I am a very loyal, friendly, and caring customer. I paid for all my meals almost $10 and same for my BF. I didn't get to eat any of it. I threw it all out because I was afraid to speak with this staff at this Fort Lee, NJ Taco Bell. I hope something can be done about this situation that happened so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I am definitely afraid and I will never go to this Taco Bell again. My boyfriend left a review too because we just can't believe this happened to us.
