The chicken was so unbelievably fresh, crispy, and had just the right amount of flavor on every single piece. The soy garlic was savory and well-seasoned while the spicy was super tolerable but definitely started to kick in after a few pieces. I love that they put fried tteokbokki (rice cakes)! Since they were fried, it reduced some of that gelatinous, chewy texture and actually made it even more enjoyable. The Sweet Potato Fries were a nice addition and the sweet & sour radish are an absolute must with Korean fried chicken. The Haitai Bong Bong Grape Drink was refreshing and fruity; you even get real grape pieces that "burst" in your mouth. If you're in the area, you have to check them out! The first I had decades ago was BonChon, so that's sort of my standard bearer. I ordered a small Mixed Wing & Arms fried chicken with half and half sauces. I also requested a cole slaw substitution, but wound up with radish anyway. I did receive the correct soda though. The spicy was hot, but still flavorful and the soy garlic was sticky and tasty. There were a couple little doughy 'pillows' mixed in with the chicken. I don't know what they are, but I assume they're to temper the spicy flavor. Their food is really good! The service was quick, and the place is really clean. The food was served in about 5 minutes, and we ordered a ton of food. We expected it to take more time considering that we ordered quite a bit, but it was ready very quickly! The chicken is perfectly crispy, and the soy garlic chicken has lots of flavour and has the perfect mix of sweet and salty. Did a pick up order of A and the lady was accommodating on the phone explaining some differences and once there, they had observed social distancing well with tables put out in front with my order on it. Quick and easy pick up! Good quantity and flavor-wise, BB mostly matched Pelicana, which is my favorite. Spicy could've been slightly spicier, but chicken was fresh, juicy, and crispy even 15 min after picking up. Corn salad was nice and refreshing addition on top of the white radish pickle they provide for free (as all korean chicken houses do!) Their menu is perhaps a bit too simple (vs. place like BBQ in Cliffside Park) and I did find myself wanting Pa-dak (chicken with scallion salad bed) though. Not bad at all - could be a nice backup delivery option for those nights when I have Korean chicken attack. The food was made pretty quickly, and the cashier brought it to our table. We got a large order of mixed spicy chicken, fries, and rice. The chicken came with a side of pickled radish as well. A casual spot for a quick meal of KFC. You simply order at the counter and take it to one of the few tables inside to eat. Each KFC comes with a side of pickled radish. The chicken here really surprised me - I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. It was probably one of the crunchiest KFC I've ever had; the skin on the outside was perfectly crispy. The inside was juicy and held together really well during the frying process. I thought the soy garlic sauce was good but not too much of a stand out when compared to other soy garlic KFC I've tried. Some of the chicken pieces I received were huge, so the price for the KFC is definitely worth it since it's not expensive in the first place. Like many other Yelpers have said, the chicken can take a while to make and I made the mistake of walking in instead of calling ahead to order. Make sure you call ahead of time! I ordered a party platter of 65 and it took 25 minutes. It was perfect timing, when I got there the party tray just came right out of the kitchen. Food is cooked to order so you would really need to take that extra step and pick up the phone, otherwise, you'll find yourself waiting around. The transport from store to home only took about a 7 minute drive, and to our surprise the wings were still crispy and mighty hot, you know what happens when covered fried goods gets, soggy. The batter is a bit thicker than my liking. Wish they come with dipping sauces, because the flavors were very mild. I rarely had fried chicken without sauce I can dunk 'em in, or am I the only one? We decided to try Boom Boom instead of going back to Bon Chon because they offer oven baked in addition to fried. The initial reaction was that the oven baked was salty (bbq flavor) and bland (original flavor). The oven baked drumsticks did not look like your typical drumsticks.
