this was one of the worst KFC we have ever eaten at. First we ordered our food to eat there. They put it in a to go container and turn it so the coleslaw and biscuit were on the mashed potatoes and gravy the biscuit was soggy. Once we opened the box, there was very little gravy. Evidently it went on the other we asked for more gravy and charged an additional $2.25. Despite the 1.5 star reviews I gave this place a chance. Very sad to see. There is a CLEAR lack of management here. This is a nice restaurant in a good location with almost no competition. Unfortunately I can see why customers dont come back. Hopefully management takes peoples reviews into consideration. The place looks like it has never had a deep cleaning, you can clearly see what areas they clean daily on the floors and equipment. Counters had crumbs and were a mess. The employees dont use gloves when touching the food and im assuming weren't properly trained in food handling. I didnt know if some of the people back there were employees or just hanging out, no uniforms or anything. Very depressing atmosphere in there. They had not even one customer dining inside on a Friday at 3pm.. im assuming most people use the drive-thru and dont see the inside. Hopefully they do something with this place because there isnt a lack of fried chicken customers but a lack of a good restaurant. First, I always give stars based on that type of business's potential, meaning that a fast food restaurant that serves hot, fresh food can definitely deserve 5 stars if they simply deliver their consistent brand. This particular KFC was a complete disappointment! The first thing we noticed was a rancid smell when the boy handed us our bag of food. I ordered the big box chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the chicken tenders meal. The fries and chicken tenders were UN-EDIBLE. I'm not super picky and I hate to waste so I will eat mediocre food so I ate my chicken sandwich and cold Mac and cheese but Unfortunately neither one of us could eat any of the fries. I kept insisting that my husband take his tenders back because every piece he tried to eat, he had to spit out. They were over fried in rancid grease, same as the French fries. I went to this restaurant on 3 consecutive days Thursday Friday and Saturday at 9pm. On all three occasions they had no dark meat chicken and 1 or2 sides. The chicken is cold and dry. I wonder if the owner even knows what's going on there or is he okay with the quality of the food.
