We waited at the hostess stand for at least 3 minutes before any staff came out of the back kitchen to help us, just to tell us we could sit anywhere. No menus were brought to us, so we went back to the hostess stand to get our own menus. After another 5 minute wait our server asked us if we were ready for drinks and of course we placed our order then. One entree came out before the appetizers, it was just a cluster of food coming out at different times. The two servers were not attentive to any of the customers on our side of the room. We wanted ketchup for our fries, but we ate most of them before we could even ask. When we were obviously done eating our food for over 10 minutes a different server asked us if we needed anything and we asked for a box and check, which she brought out quickly. Very unfortunate to have this bad of customer service in the small town that we live in.

The fries hit the spot and the chicken was a total disappontment. The outside was waay too crispy and broke apart like charcoal in my mouth and the chicken was dry and flavorless. I just can't give more than three stars but I will start coming here when I'm not super hungry just to get an order of fries.

Definitely suggest a visit here and if I or we are back in the area definitely will stop in again.

Everything was fresh and tasty. I was very pleased, and full. Washing it down with an iced tea was perfect. Service was very personable and professional. Waiter came to take our order, delivered beverages, then proceeded to interact with the ladies across the way the remainder of our visit. No service utensils, no refills. After an additional 40 minutes, I went to the bar myself to get refills. Food finally came and it was delicious. However, it was apparent our table was not "assigned" to anyone. Every employee walked right by us, not even making eye contact. Beautiful, historical building. I only hope the service improves.

I have to keep trying restaurants until I find the "one".
