The cheese was oddly over salty and the red sauce tasted so bad. Was it edible? Yes. But not the same. In their defense, it was a Friday night and there was clearly a rush to get the pizzas out to the angry customers waiting. I will cautiously try once more on a less busy day, but being a Sac native the food in this town overall does not meet my standards. So far it doesn't meet the standards of what I know as my endearing (and odd) nostalgic love for Pizza Guys.

The filling itself was definitely on the sweeter side, but outside of that, it was bland. The brown butter sage sauce didn't add much to it at all & I ended up having to rely heavily on the salt/pepper that were already placed on the table. Overall, this wasn't something worth driving 45 mins for, but now I know for sure. At least the bread was good...lol.

This place is great! I came here with my family and the pizza has a lot of flavor. The zestiness of the pepperoni on the pizza is so very good. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust was the perfect amount of crunchiness. Sewa Singh took go care of us. He constantly had made sure if everything was okay and if we need anything.
