I have been to a few different Kiki's locations and I keep trying them and coming back because I love their fries! Plain or garlic, they are always delicious! Unfortunately the chicken is just never good. This was my first visit to this particular location and it was the same thing all over again... The fries hit the spot and the chicken was a total disappontment. The outside was waay too crispy and broke apart like charcoal in my mouth and the chicken was dry and flavorless. I just can't give more than three stars but I will start coming here when I'm not super hungry just to get an order of fries.

The place is decent, but there are some noticeable issues. The food is above average--good enough to come back once in a while. Service really depends on who's working. I've had a server who was very welcoming, accommodating, and got my order right, but I've also dealt with staff who were polite yet struggled with accommodations or messed up orders. Surprisingly, a gentleman with braces--understandably harder to understand because of them--did a much better job accommodating my order than some of the recent staff at the register. Overall, it's a solid spot for chicken wings. My biggest suggestion would be to offer a simple, regular chicken taco. The fusion taco was a creative idea, but the fries, coleslaw, and fried chicken together made it hard to eat and enjoy. A normal--or even grilled--chicken taco option would likely do very well.

Pre ordered some chicken for the road since we were driving towards Sacramento. The chicken is simply not good. Very dry and has an old taste to it. I can't identify if it's freezer burned chicken or old but it absolutely does not taste fresh. Also ordered garlic fries and they came out very disappointing. This was our first time eating at Kiki's and it was delicious!!! We both had boneless wings meals, which was a great deal. I had boneless wings with buffalo sauce and tater tots. Hubby had plain boneless with bbq sauce on side and shoestring fries. Neither one of us could complete our meal, so much food! Chicken was tender and flavorful, crispy. Definitely going to be one of our favorite spots!

I had the best grilled spicy chicken sandwich from here with the Kiki's style fries. My husband knew I was starving and said let's try the new spot in town. The spicy sauce is amazing. The service is good- please remember they are new so please have space and grace for the establishment. The ambiance is cool nothing to fancy but I pray they make it. We've had several restaurants in this place in the last 5 years but Kiki's was amazing.

I heard about Kiki opening up in galt. We decided to order dinner at the restaurant. I came in and was greeted by the staff. I ordered the Kiki fries and I ordered my wife a chicken sandwich with Kiki fries. My wife loved her sandwich and the Kiki fries. The Kiki fries were very tasty and very filling. Everything was so delicious!! I've went into Kiki's ordered lunch for my family (12/28/23). Kiki fries with chicken(medium size), teriyaki chicken boneless wings is to die for. My husband had the regular tender combo with garlic fries super yummy garlic fries. With the combo's you'll get TONS of fries! Portions well enough maybe for 2 people to share. Service was outstanding. 2 out of 5 people wanted coleslaw they've informed me as was waiting for my food to be brought out (to take home) that they were out of it. Kinda sad about it but definitely next time! Everyone was very welcoming and nice. They've offered me something to drink since I was there waiting. Which was nice offer but I was ok. They've also gave us FREE Lemon pepper wings, super delicious! Place was well kept up, clean. I would definitely recommend Kiki's.

The food here is FANTASTIC and the portion sizes are amazing. I left with more than I thought I'd get for the price and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken fries with 2 extra tenders and some blue cheese was a delicious meal that I look forward to having again! The text notification system was a bit wonky saying my food was done waaaaay before it actually was and the Pepsi in their soda machine tasted weird (maybe the real sugar kind?) so we got Dr Pepper instead and it was normal. This building keeps getting new businesses over and over and the food is always great, hope this one sticks around :) read more

My husband decided to try this place out, he got a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. And honestly, the fries were bland and not crispy. The chicken was moist, but had absolutely no flavor and supposedly was a spicy sandwich, but it wasn't in the slightest. Overall, it wasn't good. And unfortunately, that was our first and last time. read more

I've been here several times and it's consistently good. I always get it to go but the food has always been piping hot. I always get the KiKi fries and it's so delicious. The service is fine when there was somebody. I ordered off the kiosk last time so there was little interaction but anytime there was interaction it was pleasant. Sorry that zero is not an option. Had dinner last night at the Galt location. It was well below spectacular. Chicken was lukewarm and fries had been under the lights too long. Food was quite salty to the point that we could not finish. Also, we were charged twice for the same order due to their equipment malfunction. They ran my card on both machines and, of course, both were processed by the bank. We were told that since the duplicate charge was "voided", we would not be charged but, alas we appear to have. No joy when staff was approached the next day as they had no idea as to how to deal with the issue. Of course, the "manage" was not in the restaurant. To say the least, we were not impressed. I guess we wont be back.....Papas and Wings is much better. read more

Pre ordered some chicken for the road since we were driving towards Sacramento. The chicken is simply not good. Very dry and has an old taste to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Galt location feels haunted, children toys and action figures looking down at you, run down, still uses the same booth from two restaurants ago[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], food was bland dry and overpriced. The only thing it's got going for it was the girl who took my order was nice. read more

They had such great customer service, food was ready on time, fresh, and delicious. Pretty damn good . Was traveling from Lodi to elk Grove and looked up restaurants in Galt cause my honey was hungry.. came across kikis ..and it was awesome. Very sweet lady at front, it's nice during this day and age to witness and receive great customer service. Then we got the food and it made the experience that much better.very fresh and good and sauces were amazing. The kiki fries were bomb. In Lodi we have a Wingstop,fire wings, raising Cane's and another and by far I'll come here when the chicken craving happens read more

Let me put it to yall like this. My girlfriend and I are visiting from SoCal for a wedding and we decided we wanted wings. We went to Kiki's and it wasn't a disappointment. I had the 8 piece combo with garlic fries well done wings. (Fire I tell you) I got lemon pepper and mango habanero and it didn't disappoint at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff working there were really nice and the place itself is sweet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We watched the Yankees and Guardians game at the time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I hope this place gets packed on regular hours because we came in fairly late.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ultimately 5/5 the quality of the food was amazing and we enjoyed it. First time trying Kiki's today. Friendly server (sorry didnt get her name) who explained the options and offered suggestions. Im not a buffalo sauce person and opted for the tots with jalapeno ranch, mozarella and chicken bbq sauce on the side. The jalapeno ranch flavorful but not spicy hot. Bbq sauce more savory with only a hint of sweet which is my preference. I would definitely go back! read more

If I hadn't ordered the potato salad, I would have given 5 stars for the tots with chicken... but that potato salad was NASTY! I took a bite and only swallowed cuz I was driving. It tastes like dirty mop water smells... no cap. If you don't know how to make potato salad, there are plenty of recipes online... Just google and pick one... ANYTHING but what you're serving now . I took off 2 stars cuz something that taste like dirty mob water should never be served in a restaurant read more

Serving sizes are hugh. I got the chicken sandwich combo with tater tots. Chicken was almost too big, sadly it was tasteless, no seasonings at all. They are in direct competition with chic filet and for the price, chic filet beats them hands down. read more

Amazing service and really great food. The restaurant was clean and everything was delicious. I ordered a chicken and tots meal but am not a buffalo fan so they happily customized it for me. My son tried the chicken and waffles and he loved it and couldn't even finish it with the generous portion. We have been back several times and it will be a regular stop for us. read more

Chicken tenders were cold and no flavor, ordered lemon pepper and tasted plain. You can tell the fries have been sitting for hours and then refried for order, soaked in grease and COLD as well. The ONLY positive I can say is the soda was correct and good. I'll never be eating here again. Papas & Wings is the ONLY place I'll be getting chicken from! read more

For my lunch I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($2 extra). The portions are huge! After an additional 40 minutes, I went to the bar myself to get refills. Food finally came and it was delicious. However, it was apparent our table was not "assigned" to anyone. Every employee walked right by us, not even making eye contact. Beautiful, historical building. I only hope the service improves.

Unfortunately, this spot was not worth the wait (an hour and a half to be exact). There were plenty of good things to say about the staff and the hustle you can see behind the counter. However, my main complaint is that the Pizza Guys franchise normally has a unique crust to it and their crust tastes like a cheap box of pizza crust. The cheese was oddly over salty and the red sauce tasted so bad. Was it edible? Yes. But not the same. In their defense, it was a Friday night and there was clearly a rush to get the pizzas out to the angry customers waiting. I will cautiously try once more on a less busy day, but being a Sac native the food in this town overall does not meet my standards. There are not many options in Galt anyway, but T2yan piqued my interest as I haven't had Chinese-American food in a hot minute. With the mixed reviews, I set my expectations and bar low. It was a rainy day so I was able to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. It is located in the same strip mall as Raley's and conveniently located by the 99 and Twin Cities Rd. Upon entering T2yan, I noticed that it was very clean, cozy, yet spacious, with plenty of seating. Aside from a few other people dining in, I was the only other customer. I was seated quickly and handed the lunch special menu. I found it amusing that they even served cocktails. As you can see in my attached photo, the layout of the menu was quite modernized compared to other Chinese-American menus I'm used to, but I liked how each of the lunch special items had photos next to them. I also noticed that the lunch specials came with either fried rice or chow mein, so when I ordered my Mongolian beef lunch special, I asked if I could do half and half. It was a $3 upgrade to do so, which I was fine with paying. I also didn't have a choice of soup for my lunch special, so when it arrived, I was intrigued. It was very homey and not a soup I've ever had in any lunch special. It was a tomato-based soup with some crumbles of pork (?) in it, but it was comforting and I finished my bowl. However, I wish I could have had hot and sour soup instead. Shortly after, my lunch special arrived, and it was a heaping plate of deliciousness. The noodles were excellent, and the Mongolian beef was sooo flavorful. I did not like the fried rice as much, and I had to add soy sauce to it as it wasn't very seasoned (which I don't normally do). The rice was also older (which is fine for fried rice), but it was a little harder than usual. The egg roll was fine, but nothing to write home about. Now knowing about the condition of the fried rice, I will probably not upgrade to half and half again. I did not finish my food and what I took home was a perfect amount for leftovers the next day. The service was standard, and my total before tip was approximately $18, which was a little pricey for Chinese-American food, especially a lunch special, but given the limited options that Galt has, I am not mad about it. While I do not see myself returning to Galt in the foreseeable future, as there's not much to do there, if I am ever in the area again, I would be down to try some other lunch specials (and their hot and sour soup).

My wife ordered the lamb and chicken kabobs plate which came with rice and salad. The food, all of it, was just amazing. Perfectly seasoned and cooked and the portions were very generous.
