Ever since they remodeled, service has been great n speedy. Ambiance is great since ur not being rushed to eat or move to a smaller table. Very clean place n employees seem to get along well. Not a big fan of KFC but some days are better then others and tonight was a good opportunity to give it another try. . .Made the choice of legs and thighs, chicken strips and large coleslaw. Taking it home so I didn't need a drink. Approached the counter and the young man (Saray) on the other side seemed busy but finished what he was doing and took my order. It was dinner time and everyone working seemed to focus on their own job. I gave Saray my order and told him that I didn't want a drink. He suggest a sale that was going on with everything I wanted but without a drink and it would save me a couple of bucks. Customer service first. Saray was polite and helpful throughout the order. Recently visited the drive through. I was having a hard time hearing the employee and once I got to the window I kindly let them know their speaker may be going out. I grab KFC regularly, in fact I worked at one in the early 70's and understand the challenges, but the one in Green Valley on Continental is hands down, the worst I've ever visited. A few months ago we had a bad experience there, but I decided to give it another chance in April thinking maybe it was a fluke. I place my order at the drive through and had to repeat myself several times that I wanted crispy with a 3 piece meal and I wanted two 4 piece chicken tender meal with cole slaw with each meal. When we got to the window, the employee handed me the drinks and said have a nice day and started closing the window. I stopped him and said what about the rest of my order? He said ok and I again reminded him I wanted cole slaw instead of fries. He was talking to a friend on the phone the whole time. Luckily I had a bad feeling about his follow through and pulled over to review the order. No Cole slaw in any order, no extra crispy, no napkins, and fries with every order. None of the dipping sauces I asked for. I went back in the store with my bags of food and the guy I think was the manager saw me and hid behind the equipment. The kid at the window is laughing and yelling something in Spanish to the other workers while still on his cell phone. Eventually the red headed clerk had to deal with me as I stood in front of the check stand. He promptly did his best to satisfy me, even adding two more chicken strips to the order. Ordered online for the first time. The pick-up was scheduled for 12:45; I showed up at 12:30 and it was ready on the shelf. I wonder how long it was sitting there. Got home... the food was cold, the coleslaw lid was open and it leaked, and it didn't taste like the flavors we remembered. I received a survey from the company and spoke my peace. At the end, the message stated that I would receive a call within 48 hours. Four days went by and I called the KFC I ordered from. The general manager, Nick, was very kind and receptive. He said I could contact the main headquarters, but he decided to just give me a complimentary meal valued at about $20. The day before I was going to pick it up, Nick called and said I received a refund instead of the complimentary meal... for $5. I said that was unacceptable and not what we agreed upon. He said there was nothing he could do, and - while I was in mid-sentence, he hung up on me. I guess that's 3 strikes. read more

Multiple times when we've ordered Chicken Pot Pies (carry out) they have contained sharp bone fragments. This is extremely dangerous. After the second time it happened I drove back and spoke with a manager about it. His response was, "it won't happen on my shift." A few weeks later we decided to give them another chance - bones (and gristle) again in both pot pies. Rather than wasting my time and breath reporting it to a manager again, I reported it to KFC corporate. There was no response or acknowledgment receiving my concerns/complaint. Counter service tends to be very slow here, too. If there are bones in the Chicken Pot Pies, what is going on with other menu items? Decide for yourself. We no longer recommend this place. read more

The service was absolutely awful. I was treated like trash. From the moment I placed an online order things went down hill.. I had to pretty much beg for permission to make my drink in the lobby. We decided to dine in and again had to beg for a plate, since getting a tray was out of the question. No sauces were offered with my order. I had to ask repeatedly for sauce.. then was informed that it would be and additional .79 cents for one sauce! A family was nice enough to give me there leftover sauce and I had to do a barter system trade with the front counter just have an appropriate amount of sauce for my food. You would think if u are spending close to $40.00 on KFC Chicken family meal, u can get a few fingers licking good sauce as a courtesy, at the Nogales KFC u can, NOT HERE. They charge me one dollar for four sauce. How petty is this? I'm sure if I was a regular, or look like Betty or Sue I wouldn't have any issue. The cashier told me when I told her this, I should report to HR. If she had any form of education, she should have said Customer Relations, but again when dealing with minimum educated people, u have to let some things fly by. Tried again, not quite sure why I keep going back except it's normally quick and easy. Wanted the $20 bucket. Was told it would be 25 minutes. I drove off as I didn't want to wait that long. If I wanted a 'cook to order' fast food restaurant, there certainly are plenty of them near by. They also let you pick what you want in your order. KFC's $20 bucket is take it as is, with no ability to change anything in it. I went there expecting the chicken to be already cooked and just needing to be boxed up. WRONG! I bought KFC for the last time tonight. I bought two Chicken Sandwiches at the Green Valley, AZ store tonight. While eating, I bit down on something in the chicken batter, I wasn't sure what it was, and I plucked it out... unhappy that I had found something that seemed plastic like. I continued to eat thinking it was a fluke, whereupon two bites later, I didn't find one more but two. I picked those out and looked at them. They looked like some kind of plastic bridge cleaning strip. I immediately re-wrapped what was left of my sandwich and headed back to the store with the half eaten one and the uneaten one. At the store I demanded to speak to the manager, who informed me what I'd found were wing feather quills. That the chicken sandwich patties are not supposed to be cooked in the extra crispy wing oil but when they are that the sandwiches can pick up the quills. I have never been so disgusted in my life. Here we were again in Green Valley visiting the parents who don't eat on a traditional schedule and with a mother who doesn't like to cook. And I really don't mind that she doesn't like to cook, heck she's retired she can do whatever she wants to! So, back to KFC. My partner and I were both hungry having eaten very little before the trek from Scottsdale to Green Valley. The closest places to pick something up quick were McDonald's and KFC and I was chosen to make the run. While any fast food is not my first choice, McDonald's is probably my last choice. I would have ordered salads there and I'm just not a big fan. So I decided on KFC and am so glad I did. I ordered two three-piece breast/wing meals for us which in addition to the chicken includes two sides and a biscuit for $6.99. That may seem a little pricey for KFC but this was a HUGE amount of food. The chicken breasts were so big they had to put two of them in a separate box. The fries were okay, the cole slaw pretty good, the biscuit a little dry, but the chicken was GREAT. Yep, I know it's fast food, but for KFC I have to say the chicken tasted great. I'm not a big fast food fan, but I'm going to have to re-think KFC once in a while. read more
