Good food/service! Pretty authentic Chinese - Kung Pao, Szechwan.. Orange Chickrn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ambiance, not busy.Incredibly inconsistent, poor service due to the ineptness of the cook. I would not call him a chef because he did not make the meal according to how it was supposed to be made. On my last visit, I ordered the Thai noodles with shrimp. I received the noodles, the meal was hot and deliciously seasoned and garnished. This visit I received Singapore style noodles, cold, overcooked, very dry, unseasoned, and instead of garnishing with peanuts it was garnished with cilantro. I tried adding soy sauce just to get the clumps of dry noodles to separate. The noodles broke apart when I took a forkful. The proper noodles at my last visit were long flat and could be twirled like spaghetti. They were cooked properly and seasoned well , nice soupy noodles. Yesterday's noodles were the wrong ones for Thai noodles and so dry That I had to sprinkle soy sauce on them to get them to be edible. NOTE TO DAVID, MANAGER, FIND OUT WHO THE CHEF WAS YESTERDAY AT 5 O'CLOCK, AND HAVE HIM TRAIN WITH THE CHEF WHO PREPARED MY FIRST MEAL OF THAI NOODLES. My meal yesterday was unacceptable. The wasn't busy and we put our order in as soon as we sat down. My husband ordered soup, fried rice and a couple appetizers. The soup came out when my Thai noodle dish came out, but the rest order never came out. Finally, we went up to the register and asked them to take it off the bill , we paid and left. During our time there, the waitress only came to take the order and deliver it. Never came back to see how everything was. Training of kitchen staff and wait staff need to be addressed. They are serving inconsistent meals with inconsistent service. If you could advise me of the name of the first chef, I will be sure to return when he is working. His cooking of both our mea was so delicious. It made me want to come back yesterday. Unfortunately I did not receive the same meal at all. After my husband paid the waitress she disappeared into the kitchen before he could ask for a to go box. So he had to grab a large beverage cup with a cover as she didn't come out of the kitchen while he was standing there waiting. As I said, I would really love to return when the chef who prepared my first Thai noodle meal is back in the kitchen. Let me know his name so when I I can be sure he's working. On 08/27/2026, I ordered dinner for my wife and myself from Panda House, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Happy Family dish, which was mediocre at best, and Almond Chicken. According to the menu, the Almond Chicken should be "Tender Chicken Breast, lightly breaded and Fried," but what I received was neither breaded nor fried. When I called the restaurant about the issue, the staff was unhelpful; the person on the phone claimed there was nothing she could do, and when I asked for the manager, it seemed like I was speaking to the same person. She told me since I received the food, no resolution would be offered and abruptly hung up. I want to warn others--avoid Panda House at all costs. After documenting everything with photos, including the food, receipt, and menu, I contacted my card company to dispute the charge. Paying $50 for a takeout meal for two and not getting what was promised is unacceptable. Panda House used to be good, but things have definitely changed. I will not be returning. read more

My last two visits have been progressively bad. Egg rolls not completely cooked and cool to the touch. Fried rice sticky, clumpy and cold. I even found a piece of paper in my food. It looked like the paper that seals the top of spice jars. My husband ordered the spicy calamari stir fry. He said the calamari was like chewing on a rubber hose. Not sure if we will be back. Makes me sad because the waitresses are so sweet. read more

Great food choices, excellent service, clean and restaurant and restrooms. We usually get something to go weekly. Their menu is very extensive. When ordering, it goes very fast. No wait time at all. They always give you plenty of food! We recommend this place. read more

It's a decent place. But if you want General Tso's chicken, you will get orange chicken. They really need to look up the description of General Tso - it is fried and VERY SPICY - not sweet. I've tried at least 3 times to get this order. They are clueless as to the actual recipe. They do make a good hot and sour soup. read more

Great food and lots of it. Hot and sour soup is one of my favorites. When you ask for hot mustard they offer two choices house made or premade packets. I like the house made but it might be a little much for some. read more

We did have great service and the food was very good, but we were told we could not use a buy one get one half off coupon if we were dining in and that was completely wrong! We ordered differently as we were told we could not use the coupon. In the end we did get apology and "promise" for 20% the next visit. Problem is that was verbal and I am not sure that will happen. So once again, We not only did not get what we ordered we were told We had to drive back Wanted to get it replaced. When we push back and said We believe you should deliver what we Order, we were told it would be delivered in 40 minutes. And hour later we call back and we're told they don't deliver under $30So they can't help us. So not only did we not get what we ordered, we were blatantly lied to. I ordered for delivery. It arrived approximately 40mins as it said it would. The young lady was polite and pleasant. I ordered the Mongolian Triple and the Panda house platter. On looks alone I was impressed with the amount of food. I tasted a little of everything but will more than likely nibble on this for the next day or two. Taste was not bad but not great. But I was grateful it wasn't salty. The platter had 2 egg rolls, 4 chicken wings, 2 crab rangoon, 2 chicken teriyaki skewers, a large serving of boneless ribs, 2 fried shrimp and 4 chicken fingers. The taste was average and the bits I had were very filling. The triple Mongolian was mostly onion, 3 pc shrimp and a few small pieces of chicken and beef sprinkled in. If you love onions this is for you. If you don't like onions, you should probably pass. I was a little disappointed with the fried rice. Overall, I doubt would order from here again but if I did I would not get what a got again and would more than likely just get white rice. I was satiated and have tons of leftovers. *it's been over 20 years since I've had a fortune cookie that was good/I would actually eat. Poor,poor service. Low mein was dry. Won't be back. We both asked for water and tea. Got one water and had to ask for another tea cup. Got my appitizer after my husband finished his dinner. Having eaten at this location for a few years, I question why I keep going back! They never get the pick up orders correct, always leaving something out or portions not as advertised. When you call them on it, they offer to replace if you come back in. Who is going to drive 25 mins back and inconvenience my family for dinner they have to wait for. Never will deliver the correct order unless it's $30 or more. Staff denies that they put order in incorrectly even when you show them receipt showing how it was in fact ordered correctly. read more

Ordered takeout it was ready on time and hot, but no flavor. My wife ordered orange chicken and it was dry with no real sauce or flavor to speak of. I got beef and broccoli and the beef was tender but once again no flavor to it. We both got fried rice which you got A LOT of, it was fine. read more

Best Chinese food in Southern Arizona (Green Valley area). There's been so many rainy/ cloudy days lately that I have been craving Chinese food more than normal. Luckily there's this restaurant close to the CVS and Safeway off of Continental Rd. We usually order the General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and chicken lo mein. 1. placed an order on the phone for pick up. only to find out when I got there, that did not have any white rice. 2. next time place an order on the phone for pickup. This time they were out of eggs. Watched from my car as an employee went down to Safeway and picked up eggs. 3 Last time to attempt to order food on phone for pickup. on the way there was told they did not have any snow peas. Had ordered chicken with snow peas. Changed order to chicken with mixed vegetables. Got order home only to discover I got mixed vegetables and no chicken. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly! We did take out delivered to us in Quail Creek and were very happy with the orange chicken as well as the egg foo young, rices (steamed and the fried) and the sauces were delicious. Oh, and it was delivered steaming hot! read more

I have been to Hong Kong, Taiwan and worked in the Chinatown of Seattle. The food in Panda House is comparable to any of them. The food I use to compare good from mediocre is Mi Fun (Singapore Noodles). They compare very well with my experiences in other places.
