During my recent visit to the Panda House located on the frontage road adjacent to Dollar Tree, I encountered an unexpected situation. Despite my usual expenditure of $100, I ordered a meal consisting of beef and broccoli. I specifically requested that the broccoli be served in one container while the beef be served in a separate container. I was charged $16 for this meal. In observing the separate containers of beef, I contacted the owner of the establishment. To my dismay, she expressed a greater concern for her financial stability than for the satisfaction of her customers. She suggested that if I was dissatisfied with the meal, I could visit the location on the continental. This incident left me disheartened, as I had never encountered an owner of a business who prioritized customer satisfaction over profitability. I was particularly disappointed that the additional order of beef consisted of only two pieces. I assumed that if the owner was not concerned about losing customers, she would also be indifferent to losing more to me. I'm highlighting the importance of providing feedback to business owners about the quality of their service. It is crucial for customers to be aware of the potential feedback they may receive from the owners of the businesses they frequent. She definitely lost me as a customer. read more

The food is good but very greasy. If you order for delivery I recommend you call them instead of ordering online. Their website doesn't work. I waited an hour for delivery and when I called they told me they had the order down for pickup. I wouldn't have ordered through their delivery service (Beyondmenu) if I was going to pick it up. We had dinner here last night and it was extremely lack luster. Everything tasted slightly fishy, which is bad, but making it even worse, I think it was because the oil they fry food in is old and dirty. Our order was also messed up, and when trying to explain the error to our waitress, and then someone higher up than her, they both were rude. This one, however, is located in Sauhuartia AZ and while it has the expected buffet, it also had a regular menu with table service. Some friends recommended this place and we reluctantly agreed as we were really not crazy about buffet. We were delightfully surprised and the full menu that was offered. We visited on a Wednesday evening at about 5:30 pm. This restaurant occupies the space of two stores in a shopping strip mall. The front door opens into a space with a few tables and a counter for ordering and picking up take out orders. The kitchen area is behind the counter. You then enter the second space which is filled with tables for dining. Nothing fancy, minimally decorated with an Asian influence. During the prime dinner time, their take out business was hopping. The dining room did get pretty full, but never to the point where diners were waiting. Our server promptly delivered menus and took our drink order. There are plenty of drink options - sodas, beers, tea, etc. The menu consists of every imaginable oriental dish, and lunch and dinner specials. There are many dishes labeled as spicy and as we found out, every dish can be spiced up to your preference. My wife ordered the House Special Duck entree and an Egg Roll appetizer. I opted for the Shrimp With Vegetables Dinner Special. The Dinner Specials include an option of two appetizers from a long list. I chose the Hot and Sour Soup and an Egg Roll. The soup was brought out quickly and was quite tasty with a rich broth slightly sour and a little spicy, loaded with veggies and tofu. Our egg rolls came out next and were delicious, hefty in size loaded with veggies and pork, served with a sweet dipping sauce. I used some of the chili crisp sauce with the sweet sauce to add a little spice to my egg roll. Other hot sauces are available. Our entrees came out shortly thereafter. My wife's duck was probably a half duck, chopped into pieces, served over a bed of mixed vegetables tossed in a rich brown orangey gravy and a side bowl of white rice. The duck was cooked perfectly, juicy inside, crispy outside with a great flavor. My shrimp dish had six good size shrimp, tossed with a light sauce and a mix of vegetables, served with fried rice. I did ask for them to spice it up which they did, but I could have used a little more spice. Excellent shrimp flavor and cooked perfectly. The veggies were crisp tender. The fried rice was tasty. The portion sizes are quite large and we brought home enough for lunch the next day. We will definitely return to try some of their other dishes. read more

I have eaten many times at this location, and stopped in about a week ago. The service was good, but the food quality has slid downhill. I ordered cashew chicken, but it should have been called chicken with broccoli stems. I pulled 23 stems (with no floret) out of my meal...which had only 1 tiny floret of actual broccoli! They are apparently responding to complaints of too little food by padding out their dishes. I love the similar restaurant on Continental, but will not be returning to this location. read more

Bought a variety of items for the family and no one was very satisfied with their food My beef mei fun (chow fun) traditionally has a wide, flat rice noodle as its base...not here. I received very thin rice noodles, which ruins the item. And I desperately searched for some presence of flavor but found very little. The BBQ pork was super tough and tasteless, The orange chicken didn't even rise to the mediocre level offered at Panda Express. I gave the second star because the pork fried rice was decent. Went there last evening, dining room was almost empty at 6:30pm on a Friday night. We were told to sit anywhere, we did. They took our drink order and they delivered it, but there was no ice in it. Took our order, in record speed our food was delivered. Soup was good, but we weren't done yet as our main course came out and sat on the table, we literally were given 3 minutes to eat. Our dinners sat so we could finish the soup. We started to eat our dinners, they came back and asked if we needed boxes, guess they wanted us to leave. A few minutes later, our check was delivered with two fortune cookies. Our experience from start to finish was done in under 20 minutes. Stumbled across this nice little gem out tonight. Started off with some very nice egg rolls with an awesome hot mustard sauce. I liked it so much they game me two to-go sauces. Main entrees came out fast and very fresh. The fried rice was good, the bed of vegetables was nice, and the meat helpings were more than enough. My brocolli was fresh and crisp. The chicken wing sides were a nice touch, along with the boneless ribs. Ladies serving us were very polite, attentive, and helpful. They kept our drinks full and our sauces filled. Great local restaurant with many options! I enjoy many things on the menu and like most Asian restaurants I have been to, you will find some things you like and some not so much. I love the fried chicken wings and the Hunan double is my absolute favorite. I order most meals extra spicy for my personal taste. The lunch specials can't be beat for the price and amount of food they serve. The owners now have a second location down here in Green Valley and the new Sushi Lin location. It is great to see a local place thrive when so many chain and franchise restaurants are taking over. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and I regularly come here often. read more

Chinese is not my favorite but I do get a craving every now and then. Panda House gets four stars based on the type of fast Chinese it offers. I like coming here for lunch because it is very fast, inexpensive ($7ish) for a lunch special and the staff is above average in service and friendliness. The Lunch specials include soup or egg roll and white or fried rice. They offer all the basic Chinese fare and the restaurant is clean. And if you go to any restaurant that's cleaning up their lunch specials that's ending in 1hr, you should know they won't remake the entire whole menu for you! It's common sense! I told them I don't mind the preference of not remake the entire menu options, since they'll have to toss things out if no more customers show up before clean up. If you need something, wave the server over! I've dined here enough to see some other patrons just didn't say anything when the server asks them and then make rude snide comments when the server walks away, saying they Didn't get get good service. Also dinner rush is usually 5-7pm, if you come in and the place is packed, do expect some waiting! You're not the only ones here! I waited and so should you. Lastly, this is 'American Chinese' food, you know! Created to fit the American taste buds! Fried and sweetened to the Murican diet! of course it can't make what others make outside of the US! Real asian cuisine is different than what the Muricans eat! Plus If you didn't know what the dish is, ask! Every Chinese place I've gone to, I've always asked if their lomein or chow mein is different, as every place is different. By the way chow mein here is the crispy noodles with beans sprouts and lomein is the soft noodles, and maifun is the thin rice vermicelli type noodles. Now they even serve Japanese Udon! Need special options? Request it! Special diet needs? Tell them! Prefer white meat over dark meat? Ask if they can make it differently! If you're just going to leave bad ratings and comments like "it tastes gross, won't come back." Maybe they'll be better off with you anyways. Especially when you're experiencing a problem, bring it to their attention so they can make it right, right then and there! Instead of hiding behind the Yelp app and trash a place because they didn't make your meal free. There I said my piece, and I'll continue my 20+ years of business along with my many friends to Panda house. We like their service and their food.
