Went through drive thru, lady in the food line cussing up a storm, lady this isn't the hood! Absolutely disgusting!

I had to laugh. I had a large order, and it came in an aluminum pan so when I got back to my group event, there was no KFC bag, etc., and everyone was saying "wow, where did you get this, it is so much better than KFC." The national website for catering orders is a mess, but the woman at this store was super helpful and helped me navigate it when I went to the store in person to put in my order since I was unable to order online. Atmosphere is decent, food is okay, service is okay. Ordered online 40 minutes prior to pickup, got there and was greeted but told it will take some time. Over 40 minutes of ordering, I expect to have my food. Should I order 1 hour prior???? Horrible experience, not going back. Haven't been to KFC in a long time. After this experience, it will be even longer now. Chicken was so dry, that the biscuits were the best thing in the bag. Yuk...I ordered 6 chicken breasts because at my house that is all we eat. The woman let me order them and when I got to the window to pay, the woman tried to talk me out of breasts because she has 3 orders behind me that needed breasts too. I was stunned - and told her I was not changing my orders...then she said pull around front and wait until the manager got back from the bank. WHHHAAAAATTTT?????? Just went there for the first time in twenty years, now I remember why I never go. The chicken was old , the chicken skin was soggy to the point it was mushy. My first job as a teen was at KFC in Oahu Hawaii, I was a cook. I can't believe they served us this. I would be ashamed to charge people for the food we received especially with money as tight as it is nowadays. I was told not to order from here but did it anyway. Ordered 2 - 5 piece crispy chicken fingers, 1 with mash and gravy, whole kernel corn (which wasn't in the bag). Second - coleslaw, frys, and KFC sauce (which wasn't in the bag). So I called to tell them what they did wrong and the person said DoorDash must of picked up wrong order. I told the perspn that the bag has my name on it, the perspn hung up. My suggestion is never to eat at this place. read more

Lisa the manager has one of a kind customer service calling a customer a "dumb fucking broad" after she messed up their order 3 times. Unbelievable. I ordered 2 of the classic wraps thinking regular sized wraps because common it's fn 3.50 each and ended up getting half a wrap with a small azz piece of chicken and a tad of mayo!!!! I have a simple question how can a place that only sells chicken doesn't have chicke??!! So I went there at 10:00pm and they told that only the drive thru is working... so we went thru the drive thru and wait foe like 5 min but no one answers so then I read a little message that says go to the window if couldnt hear so I went and the guy says that he was buddy making someone's else's order n to go back... 3.5- lord a mercy, the city of Greenfield got just a little bit cooler in my book Chain restaurants- the only reason I would ever review a chain restaurant is because of a certain quality or trait about a given location (super slow service, attractive waitstaff, unique building, etc...). So what prey tell is so exciting about this KFC? They have a colonel's buffet here. That's right, this KFC is ALL YOU CAN EAT. For those of you who have never enjoyed all you can eat KFC, it is everything you would imagine, and more. It baffles me that people that don't get their food to go, choose to order individual meals that cost as much as the buffet. Perhaps the temptation to stuff your face is too great. I know it was for me. I came here expecting to get a sandwich to bring back to my desk, but when I saw the buffet, realized I couldn't NOT get the buffet. I was able to control my appetite to a large degree, but I certainly didn't need that biscuit drenched in gravy. If only they had rice here, the dining exp. here would be complete. Now that I know this place is an all you can eat (M-Sunday 11am-8pm with Livers on wed. and sun), I'm going to have to limit my visits here. Visited Kentucky Fried Chicken in Greenfield today. Ordered two 3 piece tender meals with mash potatoes and 2 chicken legs with mashed potatoes and an extra mash potatoes. I understand all restaurants are short staff these days but sure would be nice if the employees working could just pay attention to what they're preparing as we was short 1 mash potato and was given 2 orders of fries in place of the other 2 mash potatoes. We also only received 1 chicken leg with our order when we asked for two. I hate to sit at window and go through my order before driving away as this will only hold the line up longer but from now I guess that's how it will have to be !! read more

I just walked in the restaurant and tried to place an order, but none of the people working inside would help me because they said it was only for picking up mobile orders and I needed to go through the drive-through. Unfortunately, my truck and trailer would not fit in the drive-through and I don't have their app. What is really frustrating is that there was nobody else inside or in the drive-through and any worker could have easily helped me - sad to see so many people using the excuse of being understaffed to be lazy. read more

The food is by chance good. Meaning sometimes you get really really good chicken and then other times you look at your chicken and it looks like someone shrunk it ten times smaller. About 50% of the time they get my order correct. For some reason drive thru thinks mashed potatoes is mac and cheese every time. Not sure if they are not paying attention or they don't care. I wish Shelbyville had a buffet like this location does. I have eaten here many times, and unless getting carry out or not being hungry, I see no reason to not get the buffet for I think $8.99 The buffet has friend chicken, but breasts are a rare site and usually have to be requested, then an employee will put some out for me pretty quickly. The salad bar area is okay, just your basic items. They have a nice hot dessert such as raspberry or apple crumb pie. The items all look very tasty, but looks are deceiving, haha. I like the chicken, normal, extra crispy, and grilled are all 3 available. The mashed potatoes and brown gravy, maybe a veggie or a biscuit, and the rest of the hot food just kind of looks good, but doesn't taste so good, haha. But hey, I can get filled up on lots of chicken and taters, so I am a happy camper! The buffet runs most of the day from about 11am to about 8pm 7 days a week, I think. The staff is friendly and helpful when I need something. The tables and floor are usually clean, and everyone seems to keep fairly busy. For the price and the chicken and mashed potatoes alone I will recommend this location. And if you want other items, order from their menu. I went into this KFC restaurant on a Sunday around 2:00PM to order a bucket of chicken and was told they were out of chicken to sit down and wait 1/2 to one hour before they could cook some up for me. How does a chicken place run out of chicken so early in the day? There were no crowds, no bus pull ups and no people in the restaurant and apparently no crowds to empty the stock. When I showed displeasure, one of the young staffers told me "sarcastically" to have a nice day. I do not recommend this KFC to anyone. Tried to order a large bucket (16 pieces) at 8 p.m. They said they didn't have enough chicken. This is the second time we've tried to get a family meal later and they said they can't accommodate because they didn't have enough chicken. They close at 10 PM. 16 pieces is not very much--how do they not have enough to cover that order when it is still two hours before they close? My husband has been a manager at a restaurant and says this is not how to properly run a restaurant. Im a former employee at KFC . Trust me , you don't want to eat there . All the employees are lazy and don't care about the customers . It's rare to have a good cashier to take your order . Don't get me wrong there's maybe a very small handful that an outstanding employers there . The general manger , don't get me wrong she is a sweetheart , but in reality all she cares about is herself and getting bonus . She doesn't care if you have kids or not , you have to work your life around her work schedule . And if you aren't her favorite employee , better believe you'll be working 10 times harder just cause you aren't . I've worked here twice and quit again on her . No one there's cares about the buffet . That's why it always looks so nasty . Plus , she told me what I would make there and she lied to me about it and gave me way less than I was supposed to make .
