Pretty good food, just very inconsistent. First time we ordered food to our house, experience was great! Wings were enormous! Looked like they came of Foghorn Leghorn. (For those of you born before 1992, Foghorn Leghorn was a giant chicken cartoon) The largest bone in wings I've ever seen. Sauces were good, with the exception of their garlic flavor ones...couldn't taste the GARLIC. But overall very good. However today was a totally different story. Wings were much smaller, WAY OVERCOOKED. I like wings a little more cooked than the average person, but when the bone disintegrates that's a little too much. Also it's like they just put a bunch of sauce in the containers, then threw the wings in there, wings weren't tossed. Buffalo chicken nachos were probably the BEST nachos I've ever had though. Wings were still decent. Also I like how their hottest wings, actually still taste good. Not like a lot of other hot wings sauces that are just nasty but hot. Typical mediocre bar food. Go somewhere else like Texas Roadhouse or even Applebees if you must.

Good wings, not as hot as the scale on the menu shows so you might want to go up a couple levels. The reason for 5 stars is we got there a bit after 2000 hours and had a really nice and attentive waitress Charlotte. The manager was a great guy, put our game on, it went double overtime and he put it on the PA system. Had a really good time and all four of us were happy with the food and drink. Hats off to Chelsea also, people can make or break a business and this place was a pleasant surprise. read more

Not a good place to eat the employees let their kids run around the store even in the kitchen with the fryers being on, and around the bar. They made their morning cook do everything and expected the morning cook to have everything done all the prep, putting away the truck on truck days and having everything clean. Well there is a ton to say here. Food was good which is why I gave a second star. Outside of that this place has been a major disappointment for me. Today was my 4th visit to this location and now my last. The whole time I'm there the bartender is with the regulars complaining about the staff in the kitchen or other regulars who weren't there tonight. the management staff had more interest in the football game then their empty bar. I ordered a quesadilla for an appetizer because i assumed it would be quick and easy for the kitchen staff. after a wait of nearly 35-40 minutes my food came out. I was wondering what was taking so long and from where I sat in the bar, I could see employees standing around by the kitchen door with no sense of urgency or care. Important to note a few of the staff standing looked like management. At one point our bartender came from the kitchen shaking her head and starts complaining to the bar the kitchen is run by stupid teenagers and someone's food order was messed up. The part that blew me away was the fact that the people at the bar started laughing about it and completely agreed with her. So, my question is how often is she talking bad about her coworkers which is maybe why this place has 15 people there for one of the biggest games of the season. (So far this season) Then I ordered my wings and waited another 30 minutes for food mean while still listening to the people that work there complain. As I put before the food was good but definitely not worth the price but the toxic employees and the shit atmosphere the employees egg on with the regulars is awful. Ok, so I honored what I said I would do in my previous review for Wings ETC and gave them a second chance. Here's how it went: I ordered the Caribbean Jerk (dry rub). It seemed perfect because B-Dubs' Caribbean Jerk is one of my all-time favorite sauces, and I also love Desert Heat, which is a dry rub. I ordered it all online. It was quick, easy and allowed me to pay right then and there before picking it up. I scheduled to pick it up 45 minutes from when I ordered since I had to get my little 1 year old dressed for the cold weather, get some gas and drive from Knightstown to Greenfield (15-20 minutes). I arrived at 6:42 P.M. (3 minutes before pickup time), walked to the pickup area for the online customers and was immediately greeted by a very friendly man and woman. After looking up my order they told me it would be a little bit until my food is ready. I got it about 8 minutes later and it smelled incredible. The fact I had to wait didn't bother me because I had my 1 year old in my arms, and am biased towards the opinion that he is the cutest one in the world. So naturally, I love to show him off a little. The aroma trapped in the car with me mirrored the temptation of lust for a Greek goddess. I couldn't wait. I took a wing and bit into it. It was delicious. It blows Desert Heat out of the water. I got home and devoured them with the voraciousness of a werewolf amongst sheep. They were very tender, to the point of almost melting in my mouth. That is something B-Dubs cannot claim. Congratulations Wings ETC! You have won me over. I will be back and promise to make an effort to get my wife back as well. read more

I'm sad to have to give such a poor review, for a resturaunt that has so much promise. I will start with the good. Our food was good and we had no complaints. With better service I would have easily given this place a 4. We went our entire meal with no refills, which isn't much fun when you're eating hot wings. We waited 20 min after our food was gone when our waiter finally made an appearance. Then we asked for our check then he completely disappeared. I then went and asked the bar tender where he went with our checks. He then went on the hunt for him with no luck. So he printed our checks off. I gave 2 stars, because the food was good. read more

Remembering this place from my younger years, went to Wings Etc after moving back into my hometown. We were a party of three who all entered and sat together, yet they gave us two menus. We were the only party in their entire establishment. Supposedly, they had a knife shortage. The only problem is that there was nobody in there or near to use the knives. Food took way too long to come out, not to mention that the drinks were brought to us AFTER all the food was put in and arrived very late, like fifteen-twenty minutes after ordering (we all ordered WATER). Once the food finally came out, the waitress serving us set down our food to take a call with her friend, then remarked audibly that it was an awkward situation (her doing) after setting down our first basket of food (she set all of it down one at a time, other hand using her phone). The food was lukewarm and half of my tenders were not sauced. After having eaten, the bill came out and overcharged us for what we ordered. Yesterday I tried the boneless wings. Really strange. They weren't chunks or nuggets of chicken. Several of them had fatty pockets. Yuk! And they were drowned in sauce. Usually love Wings Etc, but this branch experience was less than optimal. We'll start with the positive, the rib tips dinner was delicious! Highly recommend those. Be aware though, they are a lot of food! We also had the beer cheese pretzel bites those were yummy, but got cold very very fast. The attributes that contributed to our 2 star experience included water cups left without refills, cold mac and cheese, grumpy service all around, and a dirty room (there was a half eaten hamburger on the ground at our table, no one had a hamburger in our party LOL). Lastly, the mild wings were good flavor, but the wing sauce was so watered down that you couldn't get any sauce on your wings. It was just disappointing. We keep trying to give this small business a chance but it's just not getting any better only worse. I order crispy chicken get grilled, nachos are soggier than crap. Wings are great however, business seems to be lacking leadership. The person that seems to be general manager and shift manager spend more time in the back room or in their computer than caring for customers. They struggle for a while getting employees and yet they never adjusted their approach. I have seen people arrive and leave after 10 min since no one comes to greet them - even when place is near empty- yet the 2 some times 3 individuals are glued to their computers or in room behind bar. This behavior has been observed more than once. It seems like they are ok with only taking care of their 10+/- regulars. Bartender in charge of bar + 10 or so tables: most of times not keeping up with any of their areas: yet they'll be very open about customers not leaving tips. Lack of choices make this place a tolerable place. If you want decent beer prices and good wings with mediocre service this is your spot! We REALLY, REALLY like wings, and their quality is much better than BW3.. Reason for only 2 stars is, as others said, THE WAIT! Service is incredibly slow, tho nice! Servers are very kind, but it takes a while to eat here. Seriously, it's taken 2 hrs+ for a family of 5 just eating wings.. Also, tho the folks working here are really nice, 9 out of 10 times we are here, our order was messed up. I have loved Wings Etc for years. Was so glad when one came to Greenfield. Owners really seemed to care. However, the service is the absolute worst anymore. Waited 10 minutes today to be seated. Never saw a host or a waitress on the floor we could flag down to be seated. Left. So disappointed. The last couple of times we were there it was slow and food wasn't the greatest anymore. Sad to see it going in this direction. Probably just a matter of time before it has to shutdown. Can't stay in business if it doesn't change. read more

Very disappointed in this location. We normally frequent another location but were closer to this location so thought it would be the same or possibly even better given the location. The appetizer of tots and the mushrooms were very small compared to what we are used to. I always order my nachos minus chili but add chicken. I was told I would have to wait an extra 15-20 minutes for them to make a chicken breast since it normally does not come on it; however my daughter got a chicken wrap and they have salads that come with chicken but we weren't told of the extra wait for those menu items and we have never been told this at the other location. So I opt not to get the chicken and the amount of lettuce and onions on top of the tortilla chips was definitely not worth the almost $14 that was charged. For a Friday night at the time we were there, they were dead and I feel these types of things may be the reason. The wait staff seemed nice enough but not overly friendly. I ordered a burger with cheese with all the condiments. Then I received it the bun was soggy and the burger was a low quality per-made patty. The fries were a little old not terrible but not good either. I also ordered the largest Bloody Mary they have. It was larger in size but it was so spicy I come no drink it. When the waitress took the burger away she ask if we wanted a box. I told her about the quality of the burger. She listened but did nothing. This is the worst place that I have ever been to for service. To get a drink order in I had to stop another waitress just to get seen. Waited for 42 minutes after our order was given to the waitress. Last night I placed an order online for an hour later pick up time. When I arrived I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food. I was throughly entertained by the loud drunks at the bar as I waited. I took my food home and opened up my meal. I ask for extra sauce on my boneless wings, but when I opened up the container the wings were setting in a oily, gooey soupy mess of nothing that resembled sauce at all. If you have to flag down wait staff to take an order after 30 mins, that's a problem. The bartenders seem to just sit and talk to the regulars who sit at the bar. Drink service is sloooooooooow. They need some real floor managers in there and start whipping some people into shape. That place could do a lot better because the food is pretty good. If Wings Etc doesn't get their stuff together soon, the new BW's is going to bury them.
