Fell for their CFS Promo .. wow, how sad it was. I got a plastic knife to cut the chicken fried steak but no Fork. Instead you get the infamous KFC Spork that does nothing well. You can't even use it to hold down the massive saddleback of a steak. The worthless fork tines don't even grab/puncture/pierce the steak. Made it so hard to use I ended up using my hands - seriously. Here's the real winner. You have to admit KFC's gravy is the Bomb. So why in Harland Sanders good name would you serve mashed potatoes with WHITE gravy when you've got a game changer of a gravy at your disposal? My CFS came with mashed potatoes and WHITE gravy. Disgusting. Also forgot to mention that the CFS was so Thin it only had One Side. Waited :20 for my order. Wasn't even worth the $5.99 .. my recommendation, Stay Away or stick to their fried chicken. read more

Pulled up to drive thru at 10pm asked the lady if she had nashiville hot chicken she said she would only have enough for a 3 piece which should have been my first red flag that they were sitting out for a while, forgot my macaroni had to go back through drive through. I drive off the tenders were so dry and crispy I called back 10 times no one never picked up the phone until I told my husband to just drive back, on the last call I made while pulling into the parking lot the lady answered and I told her this is my 10th time calling I just came for tenders and they were so dry and she proceeded to yell and say they can't be I just made them fresh but if they were "fresh" she would have been able to make me any count of chicken tenders but had advised me in drive thru she only had a 3 count, she proceeded to say I can't help you with anything I'm closing already and it was bearly 10:30 ? As soon as they saw my husband pull into the parking lot they turned off all lights and pole lights and said if you want to talk to my manager call on Monday. You all close at 11 pm so I don't understand why they closed at 10:30 for. Worst experience ever didn't even recieve my reciept. She said her name was Belinda and her managers name was Miguel. We literally just left KFC we had mentioned to them that one of the pieces of chicken that we got didn't seem like caboose fully cooked we went and the cashier stated that it was good they checked the temperature so on and so forth so I didn't think nothing of it I ate it a few moments later I threw up everything that I had honey when I went to go talk to the manager the manager very rudely and argumentatively said I checked the temperature myself so it was cooked and then I looked at him and I told him that I didn't care about the temperature I told him that I got sick as a result of the chicken that I ate didn't care to apologize didn't show sympathy nothing come on KFC do better customer service has gone down so much no apology no sympathy nothing but argumentative rude attitudes sadly I will not be going there again read more

I would give zero if it was an option. Love KFC but this one is the worst. Every six months or so, I try it again. Tonight is the last time they will ever see a penny from me. We had to throw away the chicken. It must have been under their heat lamp for hours. Rubbery and hard. Had one bite and threw it away. I still love KFC done right. The quality of the food is horrible, picked up a quick dinner only to realize when we got home the corn was extra dry, the mac and cheese was cold and clumpy, and to finish off the chickes seemed old and burnt. I'd give 0 stars if only it was possible. This KFC is poorly managed with incompetent staff who can't follow easy directions. Allow me to reiterate: I ordered 2 mash potato bowls with the popcorn chicken on the side instead of inside the bowl. Upon receiving my order, they did not put my chicken on the side as asked. I kindly told them that there was an error in my order and asked them to fix it. They had me pull over to the side and gave me my "correct" order. I double checked for the chicken to be on the side then left. Once I arrived to my residence, I opened my order to find out they did not put CHEESE in my mash potato bowlS, and they literally gave me 4 pieces of popcorn chicken per bowl. This KFC isn't exactly down the street, so imagine how frustrated I am when they gave me WATERED DOWN MASHED POTATOES with corn, gravy, and 4 pieces of popcorn chicken. How hard is it to do something right the FIRST time? Let alone try to correct the order, only to mess it up again! I called KFC and asked to speak with the manager on duty. They told me that she's in a "meeting" and will return my phone call afterwards. This had to be the longest meeting in the history of KFC meetings, because I've yet to receive a phone call to tell the manager about their poor services and food that isn't up to par (extra watered down mashed potatoes). Just your average KFC. We like it. It is good, just like all KFC's. Always a long wait for chicken pot pie so my son never orders it. We've never had any issues here after eating in or the drive thru on at least 10 occasions. Go here, you'll be happy. read more

They can never get an entire order right. Went for a pot pie and was told to wait fifteen minutes. Waited 20 minutes in my car and tried again only to be told its going to be 15 minutes. It is hit and miss with this location, mostly miss. Went inside to order; I was the only customer at the counter to order. There were 3 or 4 employees behind the counter, and one sweeping in the eating area. There were no customers waiting for an order. After about 4 minutes, without anyone even acknowledging that I was there, the person sweeping comes over to take my order, just as I was ready to leave. I'm sorry KFC Harlingen but this may be the last time we give you a chance. Just came through the drive thru and ordered "extra crispy" chicken. Was told, "we don't have that right now. We only have original recipe." so we said, "okay" were disappointed but still wanted KFC.... pulled up to the window, were given our drinks and asked to pull up and over to the side -- that's it. 15 minutes later I called the number on the receipt to see what was going on and was told we ordered extra crispy and that would take 25 minutes. Wait. No one told us that before or even asked us if we wanted to wait. This is the first we heard of it and unfortunately we needed to be someplace else - at that exact moment by the way - now we are late - We were told, " well, you can come back.....". Sigh. We said. We are fine with original recipe.... NO ONE TOLD US anything about extra crispy being an option if we wanted to wait. I said. So how much longer will it be now? She said, the number on the fryer says 25 minutes. I say, so... 25 minutes MORE? She said, yes. (We'd already waited 15). I told her we didn't have time and would they please just fill the order with the original recipe because we needed to go. It finally came out a few minutes later. Got to where we we were going and these were (not kidding) four of the smallest pieces of chicken ever... and they forgot to add the extra leg that we paid extra $$$ for..... Sigh. I'm giving 2 stars because the taste of the chicken was at least good - KFC almost always is - and the person was polite to us, although not helpful. Just really, really disappointed because I've been wanting KFC for a while and no one else in my family wanted to go there because of previous bad service.... don't know if we will go back. So please.
