First time at this franchise and it was a disappointment. Got the 8-piece meal (bucket) and some of them were so small it was hard to say their were really eight pieces of chicken. And they were kind of rubbery, definitely not fresh even though it was dinner time (6:15) and I expected them to be cooking chicken frequently during the dinner "rush". That should have been a clue when I walked into the restaurant and I was the only person there! Food was really bad, the two chicken sandwiches we ordered were stale and unsavory. The macaroni and cheese tasted not good at all. The dark skin lady that took our order had a really bad attitude, when we came back to return our food 3 minutes later we discovered she didn't give us a receipt and she said she couldn't print a new one and that she also couldn't give us a refund. We called 1.800.225.5532 after helping them to find location as were passing by towards TN they said they could not also give us a refund immediately but a whole process of investigation has to run through. They informed us that some franchise locations may not give you refund so be aware of this! Also, KFC Customer Service was outside USA and the connection was so bad that we couldn't listen to the reps plus they could not speak english well plus their accent was very thick so it made it impossible to even speak to them. read more

I'm sorry but they have lost their touch! Chicken is being cooked in old grease and grease that has burnt! As a person who cooks many of us can tell when your fryers haven't been cleaned and you're repeatedly using the same old grease! You need to do better! The franchise is going down hill in hand basket because cooperation doesn't care as long as they're making their profit! And they shouldn't be making a profit at all! It needs to be overall! I had hoped for them 6 months back but they've dropped the ball again! Once every 2/3 months you can pull up and get some freshly fried chicken in fresh grease! I don't say this lightly. This place is a dump. Before ordering take a walk past the counter to the soda fountain. While you're standing there take a look back at the kitchen. The place is run down and filthy. The thing that gets me the most is the aluminum diamond plate under the fryers. Undoubtedly the tile floor ttat was under the fryers and the subfloor was so degraded and saturated with fryer oil the morter wouldn't stick to it so someone thought up using metal. I hate to think of what kinds and how many bacteria are living under that metal! The dining room did not have a single clean table at 3pm. There were no other customers. Not even in the drive through. This is a perfect storm of diminishing returns. They don't turn enough business to maintain the store so close it, PLEASE! The staff reflects the surroundings. It seemed an imposition to wait on us. I wish I had walked down an checked the kitchen before ordering. The cleanest part of this restaurant was the men's room. I'm in town for vacation and was on Uber eats looking for somewhere that would deliver to the resort. Kfc was the first thing that popped up so I went with it. I'm glad that I did because the food was better than it is back in my hometown. My order was made pretty quickly and the delivery was fast as well. The food was hot , fresh , cooked with perfection. This is the worst place I've ever been to. Just moved to Harrisonburg about a month ago and decided to try it out for dinner last night, my boyfriend doesn't get off work until ten but I didn't want to be the person who shows up right before closing to order so I got here around 9:20. I pull into the parking lot and park and read the door saying the lobby closes at 9:00, and a worker looks at me and walks to the back, I assumed because they knew I'd be coming through the drive thru, I get into the drive thru and no one is one the speaker so I waited a few minutes and someone else pulls in behind me and they were getting mad so I said hello five or six times with no answer, the car behind me had enough and turned around so I pulled up to the window to tell them there speaker wasn't working and to order there. The window was wide open and there was no one in sight I said hello a few times and I heard people in the back moving and what sounded like giggling, I waited a few more minutes and no one came. I have a partiality to KFC over the other options (i.e Popeyes), however when buying from the Harrisonburg KFC's it would be better to go Popeyes. The chicken from KFC in Harrisonburg almost always has half the bucket with no breading/skin. However, just go south a little to the KFC in Waynesboro or Staunton and you'll get chicken that looks like the commercials- oh and the service is better. read more

If you go through the drive-through, check your bag before leaving. I ordered the meal deal; when I got home there were NO biscuits. I also ordered the alleged wedges. Drive thru didn't work. Mashed potatoes were very dry and were turning brown (I assume from sitting too long) and the coleslaw was almost translucent and mushy. We got our order to go and didnt know it was like this until we got back to Massanutten, so it wouldnt have been worth it to go all the way back to Harrisonburg to make them replace the items.
