My 2 for 5 chicken wraps were hot and fresh. I ordered one spicy and one mild. I enjoyed. The low rating is because they are very short staffed. They push the cars to the parking lot. There were 4 of us pushed. The guy that took my order literally had to bring my food out to the parking lot while a line of new customers waited to pay for and have have their orders taken. I just can't with todays modern fast food. I decided to eat at this KFC recently because of nostalgia I remember when going to KFC was the thing great food awesome customers service got and fresh when you got home. It's not the case anymore it's almost like you expect it to not be great but that's to much high praise. Well I bit into my Luke warm chicken which had so much breading it was already falling off in the box also it was soggy for some reason idk but it was just unenjoyable the biscuits which used to be a personal favorite of mine are now just rock hard disks but I will say the only worth while thing was the mash potatoes and gravy it was hot but it was bland. I used to love going to KFC with family and friends knowing I'd get a good meal at a decent price and now when I am hungry and there is a KFC in the area I just avoid them I wish I could enjoy the food but nostalgia is were that great food is and I'm in the present. I think it's a scam because I heard the person taking orders at the window and she was adding little charges onto all the orders. She charged me 2$ to dip my tenders and she charged the next person 30 cents for something. Little charges add up. It took 21 minutes to fill my order. No new chicken was put out, while I waited. They give me my order, I ask for napkins and was told me that was my order. Walking in the store is gross. Floors are sticky, not a napkin in sight. Bathroom was unkept, out of paper towels, air dryer didn't work. Food was over cooked and greasy. After reading the negative reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. I live nowhere near this location and acknowledge that I've only been to THIS KFC maybe 3 times in the last year. There are MANY restaurants in this area, but when I have a taste for chicken, I'm drawn here. When I purchased a 10 piece bucket, ordered through the drive-thru, I received a bucket full of old dark chicken. Then, I got out of my car and walked into the restaurant to return them. Once I spoke with the cashier, I requested new chicken or my money back. She gave me 10 new pieces, or least I thought she did. I ordered 2 entree combo meals. the new Jack something and five hot louisiana chicken tenders. ordered after long wait but only two other cars were in the line. combos were suppsed to come with fries, chicken, one also had mac&cheese and both had drinks. when I pulled up to pay I was asked to sit in the side lot to wait for food. person came to car missing the sides (fries), missing my cookies and the drinks. I was told to wait. I watched as I was ignored and others food behind me was delivered to parking lot. I went back to the window and reported problem I told the server befor. I walked from the lot and stood at the window and had to request each item again.Standing and waiting. now there was a four minute wait for fries so I changed to mashed potatoes. I had to ask for forks (they gave me one but now there are two sides that need forks) which was treated like some unusual/unreasonable request and napkins. At home now and my tender dinner is missing the biscuit. I tried to call for the satisfaction that someone might care or even benefit from the complaint but got no answer. no one seems to be thinking or care much about accuracy, quality, or customer service on this team. Not only is the drive-thru times longer than 10 minutes, but that's before you even place your order. Let's not talk about when Shaniqua or LaTifa finish screwing up your order. I recently went into the KFC in Homewood IL and purchased 3, 10 piece buckets of chicken which came with 2 sides and 4 biscuits with each one. I was celebrating my Dad's 87th birthday with all my sibling and family. This was a very important birthday because my dad has been battling Cancer for 2 years and for him to celebrate another birthday milestone was pretty special. My bill came to $79.00 which to me is alot. I was told by the cashier it would be a 20 min wait and I had no problem with that. 25 mins later I returned to the cashier and she said "umm what did you order i dont see your order". Now mind you several people have come in and out the store and I can hear them purchasing chicken while I am waiting. Another clerk told the cashier "There it is rite there "30 pieces of chicken. So at that point because they had given away all the wings i had to settle for extras thighs and breast which i did not want, I never got any kind of apology, the manager just looked dumbfounded and offered me a cake. I have not been to this location in quite awhile because of the really bad food and total lack of service. Well, my husband went last week and got me a pot pie, which I love from there. It was fantastic! So.......of course I had to push my luck and go back last night. BAD mistake! My husband ordered the pot pie, got to the window, paid and then the manager came over and said they were out of the pies. So, my husband replaced it with a wing meal at which time the manager charged him an extra $3.00. Hubby said he thought that wasn't fair as he had already paid and it was their mistake. The order should never had gotten to that point. They fussed a bit and he ended up paying. OK, I get it...pay for your food.....but.... why did it get to the point of an argument? GOOD service would be to say sorry and replace the food and move on. Also, why was the manager not wearing a headset and listening to the orders as they are supposed to do? This would avoid issues of this sort. It is also a good idea to actually Tell the DT person that you are out of food!! I know, I'm a rebel.... I was a manager at KFC (among other places) and I know they can be REALLY ignorant about customer service, but seriously. He tells me they did not have enough chicken for my order (yet while I waited at least 10 cars were served), then he says the fryer was broke, I had ordered all dark 1/2 regular and 1/2 crispy chicken. Then the young man says the chicken will be done in about 3 minutes, but all this while others were being served. What? The young man took my receipt, did not return it, then another young man comes out with the order. Expecting freshly cooked chicken, great disappointment to discover we received 7 pieces of chicken all breading mushy, the sides were adequate except the biscuits were hard and dry. The crew on this Friday is less to be desired. The wait was terrible and I did not get what I ordered, SHAME on management - who's running the show? I guess no pride in ownership.. The saga continues. As I was walking up with my coupon for free chicken. A group of people were walking out with their coupons and no chicken. There was no sign on the door. And the lady at the register didn't say a word until you got up to order. They were not honoring the coupons. But you can mail it in with another form to get a raincheck. Everone was pissed off. People were coming in from the drive-thru and asking for their money back because they were so bent at this whole thing. I said screw it and ordered a couple of chicken wraps. Where's the chicken? They came in a nice bag. And they were wrapped like a burrito on one end and the other was open. But the first 4 inches of the wrap was empty. Like when you open a bag of potato chips.
