Absolute waste of money. My wife and I went through the drive through for 2 meals totalling about $25. Her original chicken sandwich was ok, but the fries were cold and had the consistency of gummy worms. I ordered a chicken chalupa meal and both chalupa shells were so stale that I couldn't stomach it. First and most importantly I appreciate the service we received here more than I would have cared about the quality of food. I was not rushed to end my order and I got my order repeated back to me to confirm it was right. I am not from around here and my local fast food does not rest is this way. I came here for the KFC side of the restaurant this last time because my girlfriend and her children like the KFC meal deals. I prefer Taco Bell over KFC. We went inside to order instead of going through the drive-thru. When we walked inside, there was this unpleasant smell that permeated the entire restaurant. I honestly wanted to just wait outside, the smell was so offensive.... They got the order on the sides wrong with the two piece chicken meal and gave us two mashed potatoes with gravy instead of the green beans and mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side. Smh The wait can take a bit longer if you choose to go inside to order as opposed to going through the drive-thru at this location. Their line is always wrapped around the building and those customers seem to take precedence over you. This is a busy location where you can get both fried chicken and a dang quesadilla in one location. There's plenty of seating and a lot of people who frequent here. I actually had a bite of my girlfriend's daughter's chicken quesadilla. It wasn't that bad, but there is definitely room for improvement at this location. read more

This is NOT a stand-alone KFC. This is a KFC/Taco Bell combo located in Roosevelt Square. Yelp insists that it is a separate entity and will NOT combine them together like they should be. When you go inside, or go through the drive-thru, it is the same people who take your order, cook your food, pour your drink, and bag everything up - no matter if you order KFC or Taco Bell. The cash register takes money for both products. If you want a bucket of extra crispy KFC AND a Taco Bell Grande burrito, you can get both AT THE SAME TIME. So, I've had food from both places, separately and at the same time. (Don't judge me. LOL) It's average for both. The cleanliness inside is average, the food quality is average. The building and it's drive-thru is situated a bit awkwardly in the plaza, so be aware when you enter in from Roosevelt Boulevard and watch carefully for other cars. If I could give zero stars I would! I can't believe corporate doesn't do something about this store. We pulled up to the drive thru and waited no less than five minutes with no words from anyone inside. I told my husband to pull up to the window. Three visits in past year, all VERY disappointing. 1st visit, upon getting home, found order was missing wings. 2nd visit, loud disagreement between two workers at pick up window resulted in very long wait. Taco Bell and KFC in the same building, what's not to like.? This location is always somewhat busy but not crazy busy. The people that work here are uniformly nice I have never had a unpleasant experience here and probably have been here 20 times. Sometimes if you come in the evening after the dinner rush the grill chicken is not so fresh in fact once or twice it was kind a like chicken jerky but I called them and they replaced it right away. Of course it takes 20 minutes to cook it so you can either wait or come back another day and get some more which is actually better. The dining room can get a little bit dirty and a little bit full sometimes because it's not very large but they tried to keep it up. This is in a handy location at the Roosevelt mall where you can also hit the CVS, the Publix, and Belks department store if you need to. I have to say this isn't the healthiest food so it's probably not a good idea to come here very often but once in a while for a quick fix is ok right? read more

Just spent almost 30 bucks for an 8pc meal. The chicken was fine but the mash potatoes were still clumpy and it had clumps of powder, as if it wasn't mixed well. Powder potatoes! The gravy wad concentrated and needed to be less salty. I was craving KFC but this was just disappointing.... read more

Pretty disappointed in the chicken sandwich I just ordered. The chicken looked old and it was not even hot. The sandwich bread was soggy and smashed with tons with mayonnaise. Also, caught an employee scratching her head with her hands. I kept an eye on her to make sure she wasn't making my food. Bathroom was filthy as well. When we utilize the drive-thru, we never have any problems. However, the problems occur when dining in. So that's what this review is for. ~ I've yet to meet one friendly employee inside the restaurant. ~ When I've asked for a manager and complained, they've never cared. ~ The dining room has been dirty every single time we've been in. Dirty tables, floors needing to be swept, soda area a mess, etc. It makes it worse because the times we've been inside, it's never been busy. There have been employees standing behind the counter gossiping, but yet no one can bother to come out and clean the dining area. Ridiculous! ~ Bathrooms have been dirty and have been in serious need of attention. ~ When I've asked for extra gravy for my mashed potatoes, you'd think I was asking them to hand over a million dollars. I'm not thinking extra gravy is that outlandish of a request (especially when other KFCs don't have a problem). The food has always been ok, but because of all these problems every single time we've dined in, we no longer bother walking through the doors. We do still use their drive-thru occasionally, but we try to take our business elsewhere. Oh, and yes, I have even called corporate about the situation at the particular restaurant. Okay. I know it's KFC/ Taco Bell. Say what you will, I don't care. My guilty pleasure is reading FoodBeast. They gave me the lowdown on the Pickle Fried Chicken coming to KFC this summer and the Watermelon Freeze at Taco Bell. So today, my son and I stopped in today to try them both. Side note: my son LOVES pickles. We ordered two of the sandwiches and one freeze. While we were waiting, we overheard from the other customers and staff they were out of a lot of things today. No lettuce, tomato, cheese. Almost half of the drink options were also out. Hmm. Then the guy making our freeze tells us that he ran out of the watermelon freeze about 3/4ths of the way of our cup. Sigh. We said it was alright and took it as is. I gotta say, it's a pretty good drink. Those candy seeds don't fit in a regular straw so they'll clog up. After a little while, the color will melt off turn the drink purple and then you'll have white seeds clogging the straw. LOL. I don't care... I'll probably get another one this summer. (Hint: wait until Happy hour 2-5pm and get it for a buck.) Now, for the Pickle Fried Chicken sandwich. They take the regular Crispy Chicken sandwich and add the premade Pickle sauce over the chicken. It surprisingly doesn't effect the crunchiness of the chicken. When we picked up our order, I could smell the pickle sauce right away. It's actually not overpowering. As a matter of fact, I really like it. Like, more than I should. I am not even a fan of pickles. So I got to say, it's a limited time thing. I read each store will only get one batch of supplies and will have it until it runs out. Also, I'd like to point out that this is my go to Taco Bell/ KFC. I normally don't like the hybrid stores but I like it here. They are usually always busy. But I've always had good service. read more

Giving it a one star today because I'm a nice guy... I especially came to this KFC because the chicken is always fresher than other ones. I could have went to one closer but I wanted fresh. I order the 3 piece white chicken meal I got two very had chicken breast a a wing that was so small and fried all the juice from it.. I could have used the wing for a hockey puck. The mashed potatoes and corn was good. That was the only thing good about the meal. I stopped by the next day for my fabulous chicken littles. I mentioned to the manager Charles about the chicken the night before being so dry. He asked if I called last night I said no. I showed him my receipt and I said I didn't expect anything he told me to hold on he replaced my meal from last night . The chicken was perfect. Thanks CHARLES that was awesome customer service.... Drive thru was incredibly slow. Got the $20 fillup. Was told could not substitute other side to replace coleslaw even though I've ordered on the website recently and this was no issue. Got home with the food and the chicken is disgusting. The skin is mushy and tastes old like its been under a heat lamp for a few days. I just paid $20 and spend 30 min in the drive thru just to throw away most of the food. Also, we have this covid-19 thing going and the employees were not wearing masks and half weren't wearing gloves. Dont waste your time or money on this location. read more

I craved for kfc once in awhile. I looove KFC since I was a kid and I loooooveeeeee their gravy! Unfortunately it seems like all the employees that works at kfc hates making gravy. When I was in VA they make it such a big deal if I order extra gravy and I even paid for it! Sometimes I pay extra $5 to have a large gravy but I don't mind because I love it! So this Sunday afternoon I decided to go get me some KFC and it was the worst! Well the customer service. I ordered the #1 which is I thought a breast chicken, a side, biscuit and a drink. I told Dana the cashier that I want extra gravy and I know it's extra. When I got my order my extra gravy was barely nothing on it and that's disappointing because I have to pay extra for it, I should have said something while I was at the door but the employees that work there is sooooo friendly (yes! I am being sarcastic) that I was scared to stand on what was right( I know it's sad) but that's why I'm here at yelp and then my chicken was drumstick and a thigh and I do not eat dark meat so yeah..... I hope my craving with KFC will be not until like next year because this location is so bad! Or maybe I can just find a different KFC when I have my craving . Please! Well I have to say that the service was pretty bad the other day at this particular location the cashier was new and didn't know how to ring up everything so she had to keep asking the other lady and the other lady made some comment about how they just throw them on there and let him sink or swim and that's how come they don't keep a lot of employees or something like that! Lol so then we wait a long time and a lot of other people were waiting in a lot of other people look frustrated and then the lady comes out and brings the Taco Bell part of the order and I say out loud to them where's the chicken? and I think she's going to get it but she's not! Saturday night: We ordered 2 ck little plain and a sm mac n cheese. We waited at least 35mins in the drive thru, once we got to the window, they tell us they're out of mac n cheese. The boy at the window was VERY confused , he had no idea what was going on!! Also, our ck littles were wrong. When we asked for a refund, they seemed scared to ask the manager and when they did. She ignored them. Luckily, the young lady taking the orders, helped and gave us the right food and she ended up making it herself! Thank you for her! Not very happy with this location on two separate occasions I tried to buy chicken from this establishment, unfortunately each time I went to the location I was informed that there was no extra crispy dark meat.
