For 12 wings and 12 drum sticks it was well over $100 buck ,their chickens lay gold eggs. Service was average. Even their combo meals were pricey and meal you got was puny. I can get a more fulfilling meal at Kroger. Looking for fried chicken go there. This KFC location elicits a lot of emotions. I will explain. Years ago our 2 year old Corgi was diagnosed with cancer in his upper jaw and zygomatic arch. After major surgery at Purdue and long recovery we had him about 12 more years. I had to drive to Lafayette every month for a year and then every other month for a year to do blood work and x-rays. On our way home I would stop at KFC to buy Chicken Livers. I love KFC chicken livers and so did William ( our Corgi ). He was usually pretty groggy since they had to sedate him at Purdue but he always perked up when I pulled into the KFC drive thru. The people that worked this location will never know how much being able to get Chicken Livers to share with my boy meant to me. I never had bad service and my order was right and usually fast. It is rare we get to the Lafayette area these days, but when we do I still stop by and try to get livers. They don't seem to have them anylonger or I just am there on a bad day. Ordered online for quick takeout. Received an email with two different times. Went through the drive thru inly to be told I had to come in to get my order. Went in only to be told they didn't have any online orders. Showed them my email and they said that the order wasn't ready yet. I asked if I could get it now and they said yes. As they began packing it up I noticed they were getting French fries ready. I said that I hadn't ordered fries and they said they were not for my order. Good old KFC has a space cadet at the drive thru window. He's high on life and wants everyone to know it. Ordered, paid and was informed they were cooking and would be 5 minutes before it was ready. "Pull up by the trash can and I'll bring it out in five minutes" This really means..."you are screwed 'cause the trash can is overflowing and I have no intention of bringing your order out" What happens is that after 10 minutes....I send the Big Guy in to fetch the order. Big Guy notices space cadet is so happy that he is about to start flying around. The gal at the front counter is a bit better....but not much. At least she got the order from the space cadet. If you're still reading this...the food is still good but KFC can do better. It starts at the top, it ends with the unit mgr. My coworker and myself were super excited when we pulled up and saw the new 10 buck popcorn chicken box. It comes with almost 70 pieces of pop corn chicken! We both said "Hell yeah" and ordered one each. Asked for hot sauce and bbq sauce for the glorious dipping we were about to do. Asked for extra. Knowing we were about to face 70 little chickies each. My chicken looks half eaten directly out of the bowl. My family size popcorn chicken was not even halfway full in the bucket. My coast law was dry and had a funny smell and my gravy was actually a small order of mashed potatoes and gravy. That is not 3 day came a sport. For a fried chicken joint, KFC's in general have done very well to distinguish themselves above others with their creative entries such as the bowls and their chicken wraps known as "Twisters" (drooling just thinking about zinger sauce), and their buffet option. However, this restaurant in particular seems to suffer either from not enough business, not enough staffing or both. Several times I have come either inside, or through the drive-thru only to be waiting longer than might be expected for a KFC, taking into account how busy they are at the time. We generally get the extra-crispy chicken, which depending on the day, may or may not be crispy. As the previous reviewer states, the cleanliness is never a problem. Employees are polite and helpful, and apologize when the food is inevitably slow. Still a great place for fast fried chicken in town, will definitely continue to frequent. read more

I walked into KFC at 6:20pm and I didn't order until 6:29 it is now 6:52 and still have not gotten my 8 piece nugget, finally I get my order over a half hour after I placed the order, it's easy to see the workers didn't care what so ever about the quality and speed, and seemed either uneducated or poorly educated, they couldn't count correctly or read the order screen. No sign of a manager and if there even was a manager they should resign due to incompetence, same with every person I saw working, the problem didn't end with the employee giving me my order, when I placed the order I made sure I told them I wanted Buffalo ranch and honey mustard and the employee handed me the bag with contempt because I expressed my frustration with how long it had taken to get my order,i watched them carefully when they filled the order and seen that they ran out of pre fried nuggets and had to tear tenders in half to fill the remainder of my order, then the employee forgot to put in the sauce's and I had to remind them to do that, total incompetence throughout the entire process and the regional manager needs to get involved and train the management better to train the employees better, someone needs to police this KFC for company violations and restaurant violations, I witnessed a piece of old chicken in a box of drink cups, I am sure there are health code violations at this KFC and I plan on calling the health department asap to report this restaurant. The worst part of this experience was watching the workers pick pre fried nuggets from a tray I could see from the order counter which meant they didn't even have to cook my order they just had to pull out the tray of nuggets put 8 into a box and give me my order instead they took a half hour and by the time they got to my order there wasn't enough nuggets to fill my order. Visited this KFC for the first time since the remodel. The dining room is refreshed and very modern and well lit. The buffet, is well, a KFC Buffet, and it was fantastic. I had two issues with this visit and one is something that I can not really look past and the other is something I can. I had a tough time finding the forks and knives and the salt and pepper. I found the fork and knife area but didnt see any Salt and Pepper. I went to the counter and asked the young lady if I could have some Salt and Pepper. She said that they had Salt but that they were out of Pepper. I worked quick-service in college and I understand that ordering can get messed up and sometimes you can run out of an item. I also understand that the restaurants have requirements for how they buy their food and supplies. (I went to Subway once and they were out of cucumbers and I understand they have quality standards and can not just buy them anywhere). Pepper is a pretty simple commodity to come by. The GFS is not very far and Pepper can be purchased to get the store through a day or two. (I went to Steak and Shake years ago and they were out of cheese-drive to the store and buy some Velveeta). Not having Pepper really affected my experience because I like Pepper on my potatoes and chicken. The other item is something I can look past. When we arrived, the floor of the restaurant was generally dirty. During our dining experience, a young man came out to sweep the floors which is great and very much appreciated. The issue is that the new floors they have installed dont exaclty respond well to an employee dragging a chair across them five feet so he can sweep. It was so loud inside the restaurant that when the next chair was moved, we actually had to stop talking because we couldn't hear each other. I can overlook this though because there was cleaning going on and that made me happy. Overall, just a miss on this visit, although I have been to the restaurant multiple times and it has been better and I will return because it is KFC!! read more

we went out to eat at Kentucky fried chicken on Christmas eve.. It was a SITE, tables were VERY DIRTY, floor was just as bad. There wasn't any chicken or any of the other foods that was supposed to be in the buffet. We told the workers there but didn't seem to hear you, so I just kept telling them, we did pay for it after all.. The manager seemed like she didn't give a shit, what happened to this place???? I bet if the kernel came back and seen this he would probably die all over again. They need to hire people who do their job and care about their customers.. Horrendous! The general manager is racist and a bigot! He is extremely rude and refuse to even acknowledge that his employees don't wash there hands after picking there nose and the food on the buffet is old as hell! I'm talking at least 3-4 hours old. I actually watched them take the fresh food and put in the holding cabinet for the reg customers and place the older stuff on the Buffett. If there is nothing left then it doesn't get out out. Everytime we go to KFC on 350 we order chicken pot pies and everytime they tell us they dont have any. Today we were told that they would have some in 13 mins so we ran an errand and came back in 10 mins. The person came on the intercom and said is there something you need. We were like yes we would like to order. We then told her we were back to get the pot pies we were told to come back for. She proceeded to tell us they were sold out. They claimed to be competing in some competition with 16 other KFCs for the fastest drive through time. They practically threw our change at us. It ended up all over the ground. Then, they had us move up so I guess we weren't technically in the drive through anymore. They rushed our food out to us through a side door which was no big deal. They got it to us pretty quick BUT our sandwiches were A MESS! They were barely wrapped and the sauce was going everywhere!! At least they gave us napkins! read more

Got the buffet and it was horrid. All the food was old, cold, stale, and dry. Asked if they could at the least put out some fresh biscuits and 20 minutes go by and nothing so i had to ask again and they acted like it was a burden that i request fresh edible food. Rude staff and filthy place. Went to the restroom before leaving to find it in a disgusting state. Trash and pieces of toilet paper all over, as well as a puddle of urine in front of the stall. I went there with my family tonight and as soon as we had paid for our food two employees got into a fight the police were called and we come to find out that a 25 year old employee physically assaulted a sixteen-year-old employee over a disagreement over who was going to do the biscuits. We start to get our food several of the bins or empty there was no biscuits no bread pudding and several other things were out or very low there was no honey salt napkins the trash was overflowing. The food had been sitting there for who-knows-how-long the chicken was dry and stale the mashed potatoes were awful and the whole experience was just horrible. Well the police were there a line backed up because all the employees were in the back so nobody was being served so there was a huge line and their drive-thru was backed up so the people that parked to go in couldn't get out read more
