They never have enough of anything that can be ready within a reasonable amount of time. How does this happen night in and night out since they've opened? Having missed KFC since their last location in Lodi closed down, my husband was eager to visit this new one that just opened in the new Walmart shopping center. The decor is pretty cool with old photos of the original colonel on the walls. I ordered the $5 3-piece tender meal with bbq sauce, and the dh chose the $5 2-piece meal with original chicken. When our orders arrived, his was crispy chicken, and mine had honey mustard sauce. I traded my sauce in for the right one, but dh opted to eat his crunchy chicken. He didn't like it because it was too salty, as were my tiny tenders. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the typical, yummy potatoes usually found at KFC, and they were piping hot. They serve Pepsi products to drink, but they have no sweetener or sugar for the iced tea, so I drank mine unsweetened. read more

I pulled into the drive through tonight at 7:23. When I ordered chicken strips, I was told there would be a 5 minute wait. No big deal. I pulled up to the window and paid and was told to pull in front and wait for my order. I pulled up front and waited. I realized that they had forgotten one of my drinks, but figured I would just let them know when they brought my order. The vehicle immediately behind me pulled in next to us and waited. They were brought their meal and pulled away. I then watched about four more cars go through and leave. I lost track of time and looked at my clock, discovering it was now 7:40. I walked into the restaurant with my receipt and asked them why it had taken 20 minutes when I was told that it would take 5 minutes for the strips. The employee took my receipt and walked away without saying anything. I watched as she walked back and forth in the kitchen area looking totally lost. She then walked back to me and said, "we'll make it fresh for you right now." No apology or reasoning. I overheard them talking in the back and know that they gave my food to the wrong vehicle. I walked back out to my car and brought my drinks back in to dump and refill. They were watery at this point. Finally, after 33 minutes of waiting, the employee walked out with my food. As she was walking out, I started to open my door, as my windows are a little small. She walked right up and started trying to shove the food through the window. I told her the window is not big enough and I needed to open my door. Once I did that, she quickly handed me the food and said, "sorry about that." She then quickly walked away without saying anything else. I am sorry, but after waiting 33 minutes for my fast food, more than a quick, half-hearted, "sorry about that" is needed. The lack of customer service is appalling. They are disorganized and at no point did they actually communicate why my meal was so delayed. I only know because I overheard them talking to one another in the back. I think they owe the paying customer an explanation. Reading some of the other reviews, it appears that the waits are pretty standard protocol at this location. What a shame. Hopefully they read these reviews and get their employees in order. Businesses live and die based upon customer service. read more

Worst fast food restaurant in Lodi. Went here to pick up an order for a delivery service. Was told very rudely they only had one of the two orders I had in their system. I tried to explain to the employee on the phone (who turned out to be the manager) that the second order had just popped up and she would have it in her system soon. She still argued saying there was only one and just said the food would be brought out when it was done. When she brought the food out I asked if it was her on the phone. She said yup in a hostile tone, to which I replied I would be contacting corporate. She began to tell me that I was rude on the phone and then called me a cunt. After she called me a cunt I didn't hold back my opinion of her and told her to give me the food. She almost wouldn't give me the second order and I had to tell her multiple times to give me the food. Incredibly terrible customer service. I had lower expectations, but to my amazement I was so satisfied that I had to write a review. First was the service while giving my order, second was the cleanliness of the restaurant and third was the presentation of my food. The chicken was fresh and the biscuits fluffy. Of course you can't go wrong on the mashed potatoes and gravy. On the downside, you have to ask for a straw and lid for your drink, a tad irritated over that but overall I give it a two thumbs up. read more

I usually only eat there hot wings since there chicken is always real greasy, or cold.. was told it will be 10 minutes for hot wings so we agreed on a 8 piece meal for family. I went to the Stockton hammer location and ordered 8 piece meal,,,,,when I got home it did not include 2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 breast, and 2 legs per menu, instead I got 5 legs, 1 breast, 1 wing, and 1 thigh. This place has really poor customer service we ordered the fill up of $30 and then we also ordered on the side 2 popcorn chicken. Horrible!!!! Every time we come here they are either are sold out of what we want or they tell us it's going to take "10 minutes" and they have us pull around to the front. But it actually ends up taking 20-30 minutes, until we finally lose patience and go inside. Then we get our food and it's cold and barely cooked. Make us wait extra long for under cooked cold food??
