First off, it was extremely busy at the kfc tonight. The night before thanksgiving and everyone is out. Saying this the drive through line moved very quickly and we ordered a bbq chicken sandwich with fries. The lady at the window was extremely nice not even frazzled with all of the action going on. Completely disappointing in every way. Not KFC in general, this location for certain. The old location on Barnett was great. Disappointed that with a new building the brand/quality and service is completely lost. Three times you've gotten my order completely wrong! Finally tonight, I bothered to drive back and say something. Instead of waiting in the drive thru (which I have experienced being stuck for an hour in delivering for door dash) stopped the employees as they were about to lock the lobby (way earlier than said time) Instead of being polite, apologetic/accommodating, the first thing she asked me was if I was intoxicated!?!? WHAT?? Wow! That's all I have to say... just because you're short handed, customer service matters. I gave you another chance simply because your food smells good when I deliver it. Worst service I've received. Placed my order online to limit contact and we just had our family dog pass. Arrived at the location on time. No where does it say online or outside the store that online orders have to be picked up in the lobby. Use drive thru and they refused to give me my order. So I go in and wait almost ten minutes to be acknowledged because the person at the window rather chat with another associate. When asking for service I was told to use drive thru which I had already been and was refused service while my food was out getting cold on the counter. I have never been so disappointed with KFC as I was when we tried to eat the takeout we purchased this evening. My husband ordered 2 of the chicken strip meals. He let the employee taking the order know he didn't want the drinks with the meal, he only wanted the chicken strips and french fries. When he arrived home there were no french fries. The chicken strip meat was rubbery. I ate the crispy batter with as little meat as possible. The side of mashed potatoes and gravy were probably sitting all day. There was 3 layers because the gravy had sat on the potatoes so long it bled into half the depth of the potatoes. The color and taste was disgusting. We paid $3.95 for it, and that's bad enough when it tastes good, but for disgusting? Good thing I have already stopped ordering their coleslaw because of how bad it's become. We were a little concerned after seeing the reviews but we took a chance. We got the 8 piece drum & thigh meal. The chicken was hot and delicious. Along with the chicken came 3 large sides and 4 biscuits. We got 2 extra biscuits and I'm glad we did. KFC biscuits are smaller than they were last time we had KFC. But they are the best. All six were eaten. I would definitely recommend the Yreka KFC. Everything was perfectly delicious! read more

Every time I come I'm waiting g about 20-25 for some chicken sandwich as well I've came 3 times in the drive thur and they say they don't have any crispy chicken as well the costumer service is horrible! Cannot recommend anyone ever go to this KFC. My mobile order was taken by someone else. Then I was told it would take 10 minutes for the chicken to replace it. Then they ignored me and everyone else in the restaurant for the half hour I stood there waiting. They really need to hire someone to actually manage this place, or just close permanently. I placed a very large order online, an order that was for 2 households. After placing the order I tried phoning the store to ensure the orders would not be mixed. Couldn't get through, the line was constantly busy. I left to pick up the order. When I got there there was a very long line at the drive through and also a line inside the store. I pulled into the drive through line and starting trying to phone again, constantly redialing and constantly getting a busy signal, by this time I know the phone is off the hook, no way has it been busy for this length of time. I was in the drive through line for about 15 before getting to the order station, then once there was told to wait. Almost 10 minutes later they returned and asked for my order. I told them I was there to pick up an online order. They acknowledged and I moved forward. Finally almost 10 minutes later I was at the pick up window and was greeted by a friendly person. I gave her my name and waited, and waited, and waited. Finally she brought the order and I explained that I wanted to ensure the orders had not been combined in any way. This confused her greatly. I reviewed my order with her and this was when she told me they were out of coleslaw, which should have been included in my order. She tells me she can sub corn for the coleslaw. I tell her that's ok. I try to review the order again just because I had a suspicion that something was amiss. By this time she is totally confused and spinning in circles and when I remind her I had ordered extra mac and cheese and biscuits, she had to go get help. Now another employee comes up and I have to go through the entire order again because they're under the impression my order is a GrubHub/DoorDash delivery. When I remind the new lady I have ordered extra sides of mac and cheese and biscuits, she tells me there is mac and cheese in all of the orders. I ask her what happened to the corn, she tells me they put corn in one order. This dog and pony show went on for over 15 minutes with 2 employees and other customers waiting in line behind me, I'm sure getting more frustrated by the second. My 3 bags of food were packed and repacked at least 3 times in an attempt to get it right. Finally, in utter frustration and irritation I left with the food. I delivered 2/3 of the order to the other household and took ours home, only to find out that more than half of the biscuits included in all the orders (16 biscuits in all) were hard as rocks and the sauces I had ordered to accompany the chicken tenders were in a bag with the bone-in chicken pieces and weren't even the sauces I had ordered. By this time it's too late to try to remedy the situation, the meal had already been delayed quite a bit. The next day I got online to report the issue to the KFC website and was quite pleasantly surprised when I got a voicemail from them within an hour. When I tried to call back I was on hold for just under 15 minutes and was just getting ready to disconnect when the line was answered and the first thing the representative said was to ask me for my order number. I explained I didn't have that info with me and she asks didn't I want a refund? I said "No", I just wanted to relay some constructive criticism. Needless to say this conversation didn't end up with me getting any satisfaction or feeling like KFC Management would end up hearing my concerns. Clearly this restaurant location is understaffed and the staff that is there is poorly trained. I would also recommend the restaurant establish a separate pick-up location for orders that are placed online. This would not only speed up the distribution of the prepared meals but would also speed up the line of customers placing their order in the drive-through. It would be a win-win. KFC sells a good product at a fair price, it's a shame that poor organization and training leave negative impressions on customers. These substandard experiences can only run customers off, and in today's current situation, create a serious loss for the KFC business. read more

I waited in line for 20plus minutes, finally ordered in drive thru 2 chicken sandwiches no may extra pickle, asked me and multiple others to pull forward and wait in parking lot, another 20 minutes later a bag was brought out i checked the order it was wrong (this happened before so i check before i leave) i said maam the order is wrong it was no mayo on the sandwiches. She nastily said order your damn food right next time. She was rude and out of line, i know what i ordered, my receipt said no mayo extra pickles. She did not like being shown the receipt and said i will go get your order. Another employee came out this time wearing the same badge that the drive thru cashier was wearing saying Kierra, this was not the same employee. Are there multiple employees named Kierra? that would be a strange coincidence its not a common name. She gave me a smirk and said here is your food. Were now 48 minutes later and I felt so untrusting that these employees would not spit in the food that I just threw it away. I have never experienced this kind of rude, strange behavior at a KFC. read more
