I have eaten at the south Medford KFC many times since they opened at that location, and have never had a complaint until now. I have always thought the prices were on the edge of being too high, but not enough to completely stop going there. Just stopped by and bought a Mac n cheese bowl. I may be wrong about the price in the past, but I believe they were $5 or maybe $5.99, and full to the top. Today? $8.99 and when I got home to Jacksonvillr, discovered the mac n cheese wasn't even half way up the bowl. 5 small nuggets adorned the top. I realize everything is going up, and as of now, my fast food runs will be a thing of the past, especially at KFC. If you can not give a customer their money's worth, then don't sell that item. Ordered 8 piece bucket meal.....chicken was dried out and tough, like it had been sitting around for hours under a hot light. Biscuits looked like someone sat on one half. I went today to get the new waffles and chicken and for almost $11. Dollarsvi got served a box with almost nothing in it. The waffle is so small it is just 2 bits and the chicken tenders were so small I would call them nuggets. It is a joke that they are charging more then $5. Dollars for it. How did you forget both my sides on a $15 order. This is f#*%ing Bull. I spent over $15 and got $6 worth of food, no sauce and a dry biscuit with no sauce as well. Smallest drink possible. I've never been upset enough to write a review of fast food, but this does it. Never going back to this location, and the manager at this location is one of the best, but he wasn't here today, so I get popped on. If I could I would give this restaurant zero stars. I only like original recipe wings so I order and pay for original recipe wings, I generally order 8-10 wings plus add ons like mash potatoes, rolls etc.I give them plenty time like 45 minutes to prepare my order. When I get home and open my order their "chef " , (today it was Salvador ) substituted extra crispy wings for my original recipe. If anyone who loves original recipe knows extra Krispy is just junk and goes to waste, totally ruins the experience.This location is horrible, check your chicken before you walk out the door. Went to the South Medford KFC today and had the best chicken pot pie. I had a bad experience at another location with their chicken pot pie; it had no meat, top crust was sunk in and there was only like three or four bites inside. Not only was two large mashed potatoes and three drumsticks a little over $20 but by the time I got home I realized they had charged me but not included one of my mashed potatoes with my other items. I really want to give them the benefit of doubt but.... WHAT IS GOING ON?! Everywhere has staffing problems & supply problems. We understand. I appreciate the printed notes about having supply issues at the drive through. Have been here once a week grabbing a meal for the child after Karate but they have been out of chicken maybe 3 times in the course of 6 weeks. Then we swing by after being out too late to make dinner .... Hand written sign saying closed for the night at 5pm. Chairs blocking the drive thru. Go next door to grab dinner & as we pull out -- and the KFC is open!? Now I get if maybe you had a staffing issue, then you found people to work and you open. I get that. This place is poorly run based on my experience. I went to the drive-up around 2:00 pm. Long line of cars, not moving very fast. Took forever to even get up to where you place your order. I ordered my food and was told it would be $11.19. When I got to the window, I gave them $21.20 so I would get. $10.01 back. Not a lot of math, right? Not difficult to make change? Oh no. I was given $9 and some change, had to correct all that. Finally got my food and drove away - only to discover, when it was far too late, that they didn't even give me what I had ordered. I went through the drive thru and order food for my family. They were having a hard time understanding our order and when we finally got it we went to the window. We got our food and it was missing items. The forgot one fry and one sandwich. When I went it to fix it no one would talk to me for longer than 5 seconds. When they finished my sandwich it was wrong. Tonight I stood at the counter for 10 minutes then the kid asks me do you mind if I do these delivery orders before I take you order. If it was one that would have been fine, but the entire screen was full. I always thought the customer in front of you had priority but not at KFC. So I walked out and ordered pizza. The last time it took 18 minutes to get through their drive thru. They need to shut off delivery and take care of the customers putting out effort to come to their establishment but they are so money hungry they won't do that. Had a very bad experience with the Medford KFC last night. Breading was stale and the breasts were both very dry. The breasts were so small they looked like they came from a small squab. First off, it was extremely busy at the kfc tonight. The night before thanksgiving and everyone is out. Saying this the drive through line moved very quickly and we ordered a bbq chicken sandwich with fries. The lady at the window was extremely nice not even frazzled with all of the action going on. I have never been so disappointed with KFC as I was when we tried to eat the takeout we purchased this evening. My husband ordered 2 of the chicken strip meals. He let the employee taking the order know he didn't want the drinks with the meal, he only wanted the chicken strips and french fries. When he arrived home there were no french fries. The chicken strip meat was rubbery. I ate the crispy batter with as little meat as possible. The side of mashed potatoes and gravy were probably sitting all day. There was 3 layers because the gravy had sat on the potatoes so long it bled into half the depth of the potatoes. The color and taste was disgusting. We paid $3.95 for it, and that's bad enough when it tastes good, but for disgusting? Good thing I have already stopped ordering their coleslaw because of how bad it's become. No where does it say online or outside the store that online orders have to be picked up in the lobby. Use drive thru and they refused to give me my order. So I go in and wait almost ten minutes to be acknowledged because the person at the window rather chat with another associate. When asking for service I was told to use drive thru which I had already been and was refused service while my food was out getting cold on the counter.
