I drove out of my way as I was driving through the state, to get mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I ordered a meal of 2 drumsticks, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese with a drink. My reciept said that is what I ordered but when I opened my meal, there were dry chicken strips, and two orders of potatoes wedges that were also dry. This was after waiting 15 mins to order with only two cars in front of me. Lesson learned. I have no business going out of my way to eat KFC. read more

I had ordered a 3 piece dinner, all breasts. I told them I was willing to pay the difference. This was through the drive in. I got my order and pulled away. I stopped to check it and found they gave me one piece, a breast. I went inside, explained the problem, they proceeded to give me the two additional pieces. Outside I checked and found this time they gave me two thighs. I had paid for breasts. I don't know if this was done deliberately but it is a constant problem at this site. Similar experiences have happened to me several times before. A close friend reports he has had the same unfortunate experience on previous occasions. $78.00 for a meal and you would think they would get it right. ordered your basic $30.00 bucket with tenders, and other stuff. they shorted me the tenders, and the person on the other end of the hone acts like it was my fault that they forgot to put the tenders in the order. she had a lousy attitude ans says if you want the tenders then drive over to get them. how fkn rude is that? then she hung up on me. and this is the crap who wants $15.00 an hour. what a joke. last time i use these people read more

I don't usually write these, but this place has horrible customer service. No one asked if we were taking it To go or dine in so I had to go and ask for napkins and forks. No one seemed to like working there. I just think they should have been a bit more involved in the customer and keeping everyone satisfied. read more

They just can't seem to get any order right with us. Every time we go there they're impatient, rude and uneducated. We went there and ordered a 12 piece bucket 4 sides and 10 biscuits, we got an 8 piece bucket 2 sides and 4 biscuits! Apparently they can't count to save their own jobs! I have been here many many times & the food is always fresh, & ready, and never missing anything in my order. The staff is always helpful as I do not like gravy in my mash, & they never give attitude, or anything as these false reviews state. Went there to pick up dinner waited 120 mins for 10 wings and three biscuits an the biscuits were raw . They were terrible will never go again and Did I mention we waited to place order for 30 mins and were the women on headset kept telling us to hold on. Then at window didn't even have right order. After a disappointing bout at the liquor store, where I had traveled from Albany to do some repair work for, I had a particular hankering for some greasy chicken. And what better place than the Colonels kitchen? Upon my arrival my nostrils were penetrated with the intoxicating aroma of fast food fried poultry and tasty potato wedges. Much to my pleasure, albeit surprise, this establishment was nearly empty, save for a happy old couple who were, what I can only assume, celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary (mazeltov!). I was curious as to why this fine eatery was nearly empty at lunch hour, especially when I realized that the gentleman who would be taking my order was none other than Jamie Foxx. I had to wait approximately ten minutes in an empty line to place my order, but I was too star struck at the time to notice off the bat. I told him that I loved him in Django: Unchained and ordered a medium number one combo, a zinger sangy with tater wedges, a pop and a cookie. While waiting another 10 minutes while Jamie went outside to slaughter the chicken for my order, I passed the time by people watching the employees. The lady preparing my food looked like one of Jamie's costars in Trainspotting. Thankfully she was wearing gloves so my wedges wouldn't get me addicted to heroin. The gentleman with the mop bucket looked like his daily commute to work was through a storm drain. The third employee was a trainee, a poultry padawan, who was just standing around with her thumb placed firmly up her ass (which, to my knowledge, is against health code regulations). When my food arrived at the counter I was absolutely ecstatic. My stomach was growling like an agitated pit bull that had yet to be neutered. My Zinger sandwich, despite its advertised name, was not in the least bit zingy. It appeared as if they had just dyed the the meat with iodine. Thankfully the mayonnaise was tasty and the lettuce was nice and chilly. Once I completed devouring the disappointing sandwich, I decided to approach the counter yet again to request ketchup. After a solid 5 minute wait for service, Jamie returned from filming and gave me 2 ketchup packets, which was inadequate for my order of wedges. I got a solid eye roll when I requested more (actors, what do you expect?). Upon returning to my table to get my taters on, an employee arriving for her shift rushed into the bathroom to change into her ever so stylish KFC uniform as per military regulation. The aforementioned trainee went into the bathroom after her and a shouting match occurred. An inaudible bout of curse words and slang took place and I was caught directly in the cross fire as I attempted to enter the men's room to wash my hands. I crammed my chocolate chipper in my jean pocket and made a bee-line for the exit. Upon leaving the chicken chateau and lighting my post meal lung dart (make sure you're perfect before you judge me), I had realized that my stomach had become the circle of hell that gluttons go to when they pass on. But there was no way I would re-enter the ironically named "fast food" establishment. I only gave this Kentucky Fried one star because I forgot about my pocket cookie and re-discovered it when I returned to work, which made for an undercooked, yet tasty treat. Do not recommend unless you want an autograph from a famous actor or want to study how primates interact with one another while they attempt to prepare sub-par fast food chicken. read more
