Near the 50 - a convenient and pleasant stop if your on the road. Right now they have $7 fill ups which is a good deal. The restaurant is older but the people working there are very friendly. The location is convenient before hitting the mountains on the trek to Tahoe. The inside of this place is horrid. Customer service is non existent. The people working there were laughing and giggling while fixing up our order. I could have sworn I saw the gal drop something and put it right into my bag. The restroom looks and smells like a crime scene. I wanted to take multiple showers just from stepping into that space, using hand sanitizer wipes and the smell is unbearable. Do better KFC. This restaurant chain has core childhood memories I hate to see it going to crap like this. We didn't eat the food we ordered. My wife got home with the food, and while most of the food from our family meal was there, it was missing 4 biscuits. I called the store and the girl that answered said I could come there and pick up the missing biscuits. While that's a nice gesture, we live 45 min drive from the store so I told her that while that was appreciated, that wouldn't be possible. She said that's all she could offer so I left it at that. I enjoy their food but it's definitely frustrating when you don't get what you pay for and you also live in a rural location. I feel like she could have done more to right this wrong. Look. I LOVE KFC. It's a core memory for me. The food is usually pretty good here and the guys in the back have always been really patient and friendly. They work their asses off, but I think there's not enough of them. It's close to my house and I tend to spend a lot of money here because we're pigs and the price of chicken is currently high. But damn. I always have to sanitize my hands after visiting. I rarely eat inside because it's always sticky and dirty and WET. The floors were REALLY wet today, either something was leaking or they just mopped but mopped incorrectly. The kiddos went to the bathroom and there was no soap in two of their dispensers. The floor was gross. I was side stepping anything liquidy. There was no toilet paper and no actual paper towels. The paper towels came from the dining area. I almost wanna go and ask if I can just help clean their tables and chairs. Lemme clean those counters. Wooooof. When we were ordering, one of the employees was on the phone and accidentally bumped into a yellow bucket that had water (either dirty or it had cleaning products in it) and it spilled everywhere. This KFC just needs a little love. Get employees that want to be there, pay them well, that way they're proud of where they work and things will get cleaned and they'll be no short cuts. This is a poor excuse for a KFC! Before I go on, I must say this...The staff works their tail off! Two people, one in front and one cooking and rarely a third. My 12 pc order took 1 hour and if I wanted the extra crispy it would have been 20 minute more. It was busy, every table was taken and everyone was waiting for their order. Those poor staff members were hustling and I think working as fast as they could. I can only hope they are paid a decent wage. As for cleanliness, it's not very clean, but I can see why. They don't have people that can leave their post to clean tables. I wonder how they get breaks or use the bathroom when needed. Shame on the owner of this KFC for not getting more people and taking care of this store. While I waited, they lost at least 50 potential customers bc they couldn't quickly fulfill orders. On Friday we were in a rush to get a bit to eat in time for the photographer for my sister's wedding party. We decided to stop into this location since it was nearby their wedding venue. I ordered my toddler the Popcorn Nuggets from the Kid's Menu with Mac & Cheese, Apple Sauce and Milk. She enjoyed it! I saw on their menu they had the New Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles Sandwich, I had tried their Chicken & Waffles at another location and enjoyed them. As I bit into the chicken I could tell why their chicken is world famous, it was mouthwateringly good, flavorful and nice and crispy! The waffle was warm and buttery and came with a sweet honey sauce that added that perfect amount of sweetness to give it that extra oomph! I ordered the meal which came with Wedges and a Medium Drink, the wedge fries were one word, amazing and I enjoyed my Unsweetened Ice Tea! I would highly recommend this location, the staff were quick to bring out our food and the quality of the food really shows! It's definitely a bang for your buck, we were stuffed and had leftovers! Colonial Sanders' original recipe has been kept secret for over 70 years and for good reason, it's the world's best fried chicken around, taste it for yourself! The 8 piece meal deal is a good deal and ordering online for fast pick up is good when you are on your way home and in a hurry but... after they fill your order they bag it up and place it under warming lights until you pick it up. We'll I picked it up on time going by what the app said but my order sat under the warming lights for a few minutes. The issue I have is I ordered coleslaw which was also placed under the warming lights. By the time I got home the coleslaw was so warm we could not eat it. The original recipe chicken I ordered was obviously over cooked making the coating very dark and the chicken very dry. I would like to see them wait until the customer is there to pick up the order before they put the coleslaw in the bag. Also they should adjust the cooking time for the chicken so it doesn't burn and dry out. We could only eat 4 of the 8 pieces of chicken because the wings were extremely dry and crunchy and the breast were to dry. One more thing I would like to see is the option to substitute the wings for a different part of the chicken on the app when ordering online. read more

Only been here twice and will NEVER go back. The first time it took 22 minutes to get one classic chicken sandwich because one employee was at the register and the other was in the kitchen--they're the only 2 I saw the entire time. He took my order, then he took the order from the next guy who walked in after me; all the while I'm looking into the kitchen to see who's making the food. After taking the man's order, the kid went to the bucket, got a wet rag, and wiped down the prep counter, then fiddled with some utensils, went in the back and came out with a container full of something, and then disappeared into the back again. I was watching to see if he was going to make the food and then call him out for not washing his hands. He turned a corner and a moment later came out, grabbed some towels, and dried his hands, so I assume he did wash them. From there he was in ultra slo-mo as he made my simple sandwich; he put it in the foil, then paper, then a plastic bag and I was standing at the counter ready to grab but it he just dropped it on the counter and said, "Have a good one," as he walked away. I actually laughed and said, "No! YOU have a good one." His name was Jayden according to the receipt and couldn't project more if he tried that he would rather be anywhere else but there. In the parking lot was a 3rd employee washing some racks and I asked him if Jayden was related to the manager or owner; he said no and that was that. The floors were filthy and both staff members were at the soda machine in the lobby talking allowing 3 people to stand in line waiting for them. The soda machine is gross and sticky and there was no CO2 in the soda machine, won't be here til this weekend yet they don't tell you this before you pay for a sod I used the bathroom while my husband stood in line and the stink of piss was overwhelming. The floors looked worse than the outside gas station bathrooms during the busiest summer weekend and I've seen some bad ones. This was on a Wednesday before lunch rush so I really hope the lunch rush doesn't need to use the facility and can eat outside. I do not recommend at all!
