I was saddened to hear this KFC was going to close. I hope it's not true. I always order the Chicken Pot Pie. I never order anything else. It is always fresh, piping hot and that crust!! It's excellent !! I am going to head there this weekend and hope it is still open. They don't offer a Senior discount but oh well... although love my pie the price has really gone up. Take out from counter. Noon time. No other customers...should have taken that as a warning. Ordered 5 piece signature tenders. Paid...got back in car to home 5 min. Opened bag...a dipping sauce container was open...how does that sealed little container open. Fine. Stuff happens. Opened box, only to find 2 ok sized pieces along with 3 maybe 4"× 1/2 " pieces. I have been here for 18 years and I have tried KFC several times because back home in California they were great... here growing several times and trying one time I ordered the chicken sandwich bit into it couldn't bite through it pulled it out. It was raw chicken skin I thought I was going to throw up. And every time I have been back since then, there has been something wrong with the chicken. Years ago this place had an all women staff who ran this store like true pros. For some reason they were all replaced by men and they did a lousy job. Food was cold, place was dirty and they didn't pay attention with an overabundance of joking around. Today I was happy to see the women back in charge...at least on the front line. Place once again clean. Had my food warm and ready in a snap and they greeted me with courtesy and attention. Good job ladies!!! I don't really have a preference, but I do like to be treated well, even if it's only fast food and the l do see the ladies do a better job...at least so far, At this store. read more

I have to admit that I used to love KFC chicken. Especially the extra crispy chicken tenders. Well, I am now totally disgusted with them. Went to KFC for a fast meal, just a little something because we had eaten lunch a little late that day. We decided to try the chicken breast sandwiches and see how they compare to the other local chicken places (why do we have so many? And another on the way?) We ordered 2 of the sandwiches and we were told that they couldn't make them because there were no chicken breasts cooked. Uh, OK, I just assumed they cooked them several times during the hours they are open, but apparently they don't. They did say that they could try to make the sandwiches with chicken tenders, as they had some that were already cooked. We said that would be fine. The sandwiches must be a difficult thing to assemble as it took quite a while and several discussions between the employees to figure out the correct assembly... Silly me thought it was just Bun, mayo, pickle chicken, bun, but I am an amateur, so what do I know. We brought the sandwiches home and sat down to enjoy them. I am somewhat distrustful (nosey) and I had to see what was inside my sandwich.. .. A little bit of mayo, one thin, see-through pickle slice and two "chicken tenders" about the size of my little finger, but flattened and somewhat stringy and black. If you turned them over they were not black, so I guess I screwed up by opening my sandwich from the bottom. Shame on me. Believe it or not, it went down hill from there. One of the chicken fingers, yes tiny little finger looking things, was not as burned as the other one, so I decided to take a bite. I couldn't bite through it. No amount of pressure would break through this supposed chicken tender. I even tried biting and trying to pull a piece of it off. Nope, couldn't do it. Feeling like a failure I got a steak knife and cut it and discovered that it was basically a big shred of chicken (?) that had been somehow cooked until it was basically welded into a breaded piece of unbreakable poultry. They looked like someone had taken one chicken tender and tried to make 4 or 5 out of it and not adjusted the cooking time. I warned hubby and he tried and failed to bite through his chicken "tenders", too. I have to add that I don't really blame the kids who were working there, but I do blame the management. The kids were left to sell cooked chicken and did not know how to cook some more if they ran out. They tried to make us a substitute and it should have worked out, but it was an epic fail. So no more KFC for this family and I have to warn you if you have any dental issues, please beware. read more

On the afternoon of 1/28/22 I stopped in for a couple orders of the plant based chicken bites. It was my first time trying them out. I bit into a very hard and crunchy product. I tried microwaving them to see if they'd soften up. They did not. Certainly this is not how they should taste. They are not cheap and they were horrible. Still I wanted another shot at them....so I went to the KFC in Prescott, AZ....sure enough...the woman said it takes a bit to cook these but if you don't do it right they won't taste good. I patiently waited and she was correct. These purchased at a different KFC were quite tasty and not hard. So I guess I was served with an order that had been sitting for a long time at the Prescott Valley KFC. Guess I won't be going to that one again. read more

Today we noticed the prices had increased, so as seniors we decided to go smaller than the usual bucket of just chicken. I was able to get two thighs for my husband and a one piece breast meal for myself. It was priced right and the meal was delicious. Ordered at 1:30 for pickup at 3:45. Arrived at 3:47, nothing prepared. At least 6 people standing around. Plenty of cooked chicken available. They immediately went to work on my order and had it ready fairly quickly. Got home and found out they forgot the gravy (order clearly says mashed potatoes and gravy). read more

Best KFC I have ever been too. Tried this KFC while visiting my mom. We have tried 3 times and the level of service and food has been consistently fantastic. Wish the KFC near me in Gilbert AZ was half as good. Chicken and sides are fresh and employees are polite, kind and give the type of service that is rare especially in fast food. read more

I am sitting in the restaurant as I write this. The staff is on point! Fast, friendly and pay complete attention to each customer. The interaction is so impressive. They appear to be managed by a young man who is attentive to his staff as well as his customers. I have watched about 7 interactions, each handled flawlessly. None of the staff is texting or not engaged. The workflow is impressive. My food was served before I could fill my cup. Hot, fresh and exactly what I ordered with good portions. I know it's KFC but I am impressed! The crazy part, the staff is happy! The result, so are the customers. Great great experience! read more

I usually go here when I'm sick or it's a gloomy day because there food is comforting. I know that sounds weird, but their famous bowels are warm and filling and when you're sick it hits the right spot lol. I have a cold right now and went here for lunch and was a happy camper. This is a great location, very friendly staff and quick service. The $5 fill ups are hard to beat. I get the 3 Chicken strips meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, a chocolate chip cookie and medium drink. Can't beat it. read more

Wow. I've loved KFC since I was child. I order the L10 which is 2 hush puppies, a chicken and a fish. It came with a side, so i got mash potatoes. A Medium drink came with the meal. I open the bag and I find two freaking small pieces of meat. a chicken strip the size of a kids cup and the fish the same. Sure there are two hush puppies but the freaking box is filled with fried scraps of batter. The MEDIUM drink I received was a SMALL! What happened to giving the customers a decent sized portion of food, not a box of fried scraps. I will not eat there again. Its not worth $6.60, now or ever again. Very Unsatisfied. The girl at the window could have been a little nicer also. read more
