This was always my go to spot for a last minute after work dinner. I'm barely able to have the strength to type up a review after a three day food poisoning stint after ordering a 16 pc. meal. If I knew that paying $46 just for me and my family to get sick, I would've went to McDonalds. Food poisoning is no joke and could of put me and my daughter in the hospital. Thank goodness we are ok. I ordered 2 of the $5 fill up box's and the 6pc Nashville strips. Both $5 boxes were missing the cookies, and they gave us the small mashed potatoes in all 3 meals instead of the big ones that are supposed to come with each of them, also I only got 5 strips instead of 6. They did not give us any butter or honey for the biscuits, no napkins, no spoons... I don't know if they are careless or Intentionally rip people off but I didn't get what I paid for. - I want my 6th piece of chicken, my 3 large mashed potatoes, and my 2 cookies. How much would that of cost that I lost?? This was within the past half hour. I would go back if gas wasn't so expensive and I didn't have a new baby that I needed to get home. Smh read more

This is the worst KFC I have ever been too. Made me wait in drive thru for almost 25-30min for me only to be asked what my order was again after I had already paid. How do you not know what I ordered if I paid for it already?! Made me so upset to where I had to go into the store for the "manager" to say that's they are too busy to help me correct my order. This whole situation took about 1hr to get my food. For them to mess up EVERYONES ORDERS. I know this because everyone was coming into the store to correct their orders. Never eating here again. Beware! I went here for a drive thru and ordered chicken and corn, then ask me if i want the receipt and i said yes please. after i get my food, i saw my receipt and they overcharged me 21$ on my card. I went back to the drive thru and instantly the manager was there and apologizes and gave me 15$ cash but actually my purchase was only 5$. I think they do this on some costumers that dont ask for the receipt so beware!!! read more

It's rare for us to eat fried chicken, but I'm pregnant and was craving their sauce less hot wings and was it a big mistake. I order their 10 piece wings and my husband ordered their 3 piece meal. Brought the food home and after I had already ate 4 wings, my husband finds a medium long HAIR fried into his chicken. It was stuck on the fried batter and he pulled on it. It came out and it was long and wavy. It made me so sick, I almost barfed. We are definitely never returning again!! Disgusting. read more

Was in a mood for fried chicken and decided to drop by and buy a couple of pieces. I haven't been to kfc in a very long time, so I decide get some. Once I enter tothis kfc, it felt so welcoming like as if they already knew me. Since I haven't been to kfc for awhile, I took a bit longer than I thought because they had so much stuff. The cashier, i don't remember her name but she gave me the best customer service. I honestly have never been to a fast food that gave me the best customer service ever. Anyways, she help me with my order, told me some specials, that I didn't know about. And guess what I got, a 6 pcs chicken for $10! And taste of the chicken overall, AMAZING! Do not go here! The kitchen if filthy and you WILL get sick. The manager doesn't seem to care and thinks this dirty place is clean. If you doubt me, avoid the drive-thru and go inside. Make sure to look around the counter person and look back into the kitchen. Notice the lights in the kitchen. We push our hardest to stay up there with the rest of the other stores by using CHAMPS, BLAST, and our wonderful BCS skills!! Granted, we are in the "ghetto" area where we have to deal with drunk, drugged, crazy, and super angry customers. Every time I go here, I always see the staff cleaning. I would say that this kfc is the cleanest kfc or fast food, I ever been to. It's super clean, welcoming and amazingly fast Order. I use to come here a lot because it's close to my house I know it's not the best area but come on! Every time I come they forget something it never fails, I always just let it go because they are usually friendly but EVERYTIME they either forget a biscuit or give one sauce. Today I went and they filled the soda so much it spilled all over my truck and my biscuit was missing. I always have to ask for honey and might get 1 packet for 6 biscuits if I'm lucky, and one sauce packet per box. I would choose chick fil a any day over this kfc. read more

Dear upper management and hire ups, I don't know who needs to hear this but the employee Lilly that works here need a raise. During this rough time of pandemic and lockdown every store was closing down early and me clocking out from work at 7:30pm just didn't give me enough time to go anywhere to buy dinner for me and my family. It was around 8:30pm when I called several other kfc in the area to see if they were still open. Of course they were all closed already so no one picked up their phones, the phone kept ringing and ringing. I decided to give this store a call and see if they were still open, from the bottom of my heart I can not thank Lilly for picking up the phone and kindly asked me "Thank you for calling KFC how can I help you?" I asked what are your store hours, she responded that sorry we are closed already but I just wanted to let you know that the one in Elk Grove is still open until 10pm, you can call them to double check and I can also provide you their phone number and address. What a wonderful humanitarian you are Lilly I could not thank you enough! Although you didn't have to pick up the phone because your store was closed already, you went out of your way to help out from the bottom of your heart, this speaks a lot of volume of how great of an employee you are. Amazing place to eat. Haven't been here for awhile but every time I come, there is always a welcoming and an amazing staff. Great food, great people and great service. Restroom was amazing, better than any other fast food restaurant. Love how they would check it every 15min. WORST KFC EVER! Let me tell I've had some very bad service before but never this bad as what I experienced here at this KFC. First when i ordered everything was fine until I pulled up to the window to pay. The girl literally made me repeat my order back to her at the window which was just a $20 fill up and some drinks. When I payed for my fill up I realized she didn't charge my drinks so when I corrected her she gave me my drinks and told me to have a nice day to which at that point I'm like where my 20 fill up and then she proceed to get upset which made me upset to the point when I left the line and went inside because it was insane the hoops she was making me go thru for her mistake. When I went in they didn't care to say sorry or do anything besides argue with me and all I got was just free drinks. The point was I was very upset and they didn't do a damn thing about it. Why is it so hard to find a fast food place with good customer service, kfc was having a deal, a bucket of chicken for $10 they didn't have the sign posted for it so I asked for the cheapest bucket, which was $10 and I asked for four pieces of white meat which the lady said would be extra, I said that was ok, it came to $22 with the add on of a soda and a biscuit which it should have only been 15 or 16, I got home with the chicken, went to feed my family and there were only two pieces of white meat chicken and most of it was soggy, I called and asked if I could return it, get the correct amount and get fresh chicken, and they said yes, drove all they way back for them to not give me fresh chicken as they said and for them to count the chicken in front of me and give me one extra piece....when I got home there still was not the correct amount.....I will be calling the manager in the morning and complaining.....but in the mean time, do not go here! It is better than the Freeport KFC since I live around that area, but now I am going to go to this KFC. the other last week on Wednesday when i ordered my 10 piece family meal, i gave my card to this young lady I believed her name is Jenniffer she smile at me and say "Thank you Sunshine."
