Got the Sweet onion Teriyaki Chicken sandwich, and the chicken was good, but the lady without asking, put the foot long roll in the oven to heat it, and I was OK with that, but when I got home I found out, it was because she gave me a stale roll. It was real stale on the bottom. I bake my own bread, so I know when bread if fresh or stale. I guess this place does not get enough foot traffic , or they make too much bread ahead of time? Well, I have always had better bread at the Nugget location, that has another Franchisee I think. This subway is very close to my house so I wanted and hoped I would be able to use this place as a sandwich place for me and my kids. I've made several online orders with this place. They've messed up here and there. Maybe they forgot the cheese or they forgot the pickles. One night I ordered another online order and they forgot the extra avocado that I asked for from a sandwich that I had to pay extra for. On top of that I ordered a Turkey & Bacon Guacamole and they forgot to add the guacamole. I tried calling them, but it was 7:45pm in which they were closing at 8pm so I suppose they stopped picking up their calls because no one picked up the phone. I let that go until today. We picked up another online order and they forgot the cheese on one sandwich which should of been toasted with the sandwich and they forgot the guacamole again for the Turkey & Bacon Guacamole sandwich. When I called and told them about it. The lady had told me she put whatever was on the receipt so for me to go look at the receipt which she even put in the bag for me. She said I never ask for cheese as I'm looking at the receipt telling her I asked for cheese to be toasted along with the sandwich. She said she even put extra guacamole on the Turkey & Bacon Guacamole. I'm sitting in front of the sandwich digging around and saw no guacamole on the sandwich. She told me if I'm not happy then to go back to subway and she'll fix it. I get that people make mistakes but it's so inconvenient for me to drive there pick up the food. Drive home to find the food is messed up and then drive back to have them fix it. This is my favorite Subway. I didn't think that would ever be a sentence I wrote. Subway is generally a quick eat to live not live to eat kind of place, but I like it that my kids prefer this over burgers and fries. Anyway, Subway is generally just okay. This one is great, and it's the employees that make it wonderful. It's en route home after soccer practice, and the women who work late are just the kindest people. They are so sweet to my hangry little ones. Tonight one of the employees made us the best sandwiches, and really engaged with my daughter and made her feel a little less cranky and tired. People who can do this at 7 PM with a tired and hungry kiddo, and make mom feel like I got a bargain, are getting my business every time. They rock. Here we have a local owned run business treating their customers like garbage. I noticed the older South Asian subway sandwich maker or owner skimping on the meat. I asked for a sweet onion chicken sandwich and she scooped up half spoonfuls of chicken onto each side of my sandwich. Then I asked her to not cheat me out of my 1 scoop of meat and she ignored me and began asking me what vegetables I wanted. At the cash register I explain to her this is the very first and last time I come in to this subway and be treated like dirt. No other subway in Sacramento I've been to has been so cheap to cheat me out of a meat for my sandwich.. She began arguing back and telling her employee to "charge him now. ok I don't care charge him $10.10" as my card was in the debit card transmitter to the training cashier. Long behold... I guess you could say a different restaurant lost me as a customer due to lack of customer service/an incorrect food order. Subway, however, has won me and my taste buds. Very friendly staff and courteous service! I like that they're located all over the region plus not far from where I reside. Sandwiches are delicious! They nailed my new favorite one today--Spicy Italian, with the Hot Pastrami Melt as my second favorite. I generally feel a warm welcome in any Subway restaurant I walk into. I am very disappointed with the sandwich I received today... I think they have a new owner and the new owner is concerned about every single penny, and what I mean by that is they charged me money to heat up my sandwich... The lettuce that is on my sandwich is completely wilted and I asked for a little bit of extra sauce and they put which seems like 2 cups of the chipotle sauce on my sandwich, it is absolutely disgusting...I literally wasted almost $13 today from going to the store... Racist people in Subway's at this location! I'm an African American woman, just went to Subways at this location, and was told by the lady there that she was not going to give me my sandwich until I pay first. I thought that was kind of odd so I said you know what I never seen it done like this before but I'll just leave. As I was leaving an Caucasian family came in and then the lady had no problem fixing their sandwiches without payment first. I went in and asked it they offered the $5 foot long and was told yes black forest ham. I ordered it and when I got to the register it was $6.50, I said that I asked first if it was $5 and was told yes. Was told it was $5.99 now. I left and will no longer go to that subway. If the national ads don't reflect what is offered at local subways that is false advertising and they should not be able to use the franchise name any longer.
