Ok , here we go. So, I haven't had KFC in forever, but my fiancé wanted it tonight. I placed the order thru the app. Easy enough. I have been seeing the commercial for the Chicken Sandwich a lot lately & wanted that cause it looked sooooo good. I should know better, right ?? We get there to pick up our order & the doors are locked. We had specific instructions to go in, look at the cart, find out order with my name on it , take it & go. Well that didn't happen. So, I went thru the drive thru & she told me to come to the window. I get there & food was all bagged & ready she just had to get us our drinks. We ordered 2 Diet Pepsi's & 1 regular Pepsi. She hands me 2 drinks and closes the window. I sat there waiting. She looked at me all confused. I told her I was waiting for my 3rd drink. She asked what I ordered & I told her. She gave me the 3rd one, but none were marked, so we didn't know which one was the regular. Had to taste that nasty thing before I found out. (Btw-Food was all cold in the bag already) We got home, I sorted the stuff out. My chicken sandwich was so flat & not flaky & crispy like it was supposed to be. The fries were horrible, even my son thought so. The sandwich was not great. But, as usual, even cold, imo , they have the best mashed potatoes & gravy ,Hands Down !!! Mac & Cheese wasn't bad either, but the rest, not worth it. I hope the one that opens on Elmwood is better than this.

I couldn't even finish my FINGER LICKING GOOD CHICKEN before I jumped on here and started this review....I want to give credit where credit is due! Today is National Fast Food Day and what better way to celebrate than KFC! It must of been my lucky day because I ordered a 3 piece and they gave me 4!!! Comes with 1 dipping sauce....gave me 4!!! So im already happy before indulging. But mainly I was super caught off guard on how friendly the worker was...pulled up to the drive thru and could hear the friendliness in the guys voice right off the bat...pulled around and no suprise-guy was cool. I always ask for ketchup packets (and usually fast food workers huff and puff at me)...this guy gave me a huge handful. It is nice to have such friendly workers now-a-days!! Double Thumbs up Man!!! ...just work on the soggy weird fries KFC.

The rest of my sandwich didn't want pickle

Wow. I wish all I could say was wow but it's like, wow, wtf did I just eat. First I went through the drive thru. Line was moving fast..... because they were having everybody park! I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a small Mac and cheese. After waiting over 15 min for my food, they brought it to my car and only gave me a small amount of fries! Like literally only one side had fries. The guy was still walking away so I asked, Can I please have my fries filled as I've been sitting here for over 15 min, and you didn't even fill up my fry cup. He said he'd bring a new one back out. My daughter and I took a fry each..... they were STALE! How can a place this busy have stale fries??? Are they piling new fries on top of old fries and I just got the bottom?? The fries he brought out were half full lol so I guess they made me whole, and they were hot and fresh and tasted good (completely opposite of the first fry!) BUT HAD A PIECE OF PLASTIC RIGHT ON THE TOP!!! Like there was NO way of missing it when someone was putting it in the bag! Wtf was it?? See picture. Hello!! Are you just lazy and said screw it's, she asked for more fries so she can have plastic? Sandwich was super dry, interesting presentation and I had to put both Mayo and chick fil a sauce on it just to try and force it down as it's now almost 10pm, I just want to eat and go to bed. The mac and cheese- just skip it all together. Disgusting. My 11 year old told me this place is a rip off!!! So.... In the words of Oliver Queen- KFC, YOU HAVE FAILED THIS CITY!!! Chick fil A needs to come closer to the north! Never again KFC.

Purge time.

Kentucky Fried Chicken is the ultimate cheat meal and a place I've always had a soft spot for. A few weeks ago my girlfriend and I came here as part of our annual purge (we only eat at each of he fast food places once a year and we call it the purge). This KFC was actually fairly busy when we arrived and there was a short wait (which is not a problem at all, good for them). I settled on ordering a famous bowl (Mashed potatoes, cheese, popcorn chicken, gravy), a Georgia gold chicken little, and my girlfriend and I split a popcorn chicken. There was one large problem that I can't let go....all the popcorn chicken was kind of burn, therefore making it kinda not great. The flavour was weird, the chicken was hard, and if not only basically ruined the famous bowl, but the popcorn chicken itself came from the same place, and you know what's kind of ruins a meal, burnt chicken. The Georgia gold slider was pretty good and made up a little for the rest luckily. Overall, the burnt chicken put a damper on the annual KFC purge and made it kind of a flop. The Georgia gold slider was good, most of the famous bowl was decent although the chicken was not great, and the popcorn chicken on the side suffered from the same problem. This trip will not make me not come to KFC again, but I might think twice about returning to this location.

When you want fried chicken, you go to Nashville. Living in buffalo, that's a heck of a long trip for some chicken. Enter, KFC. This location isn't my favorite, it usually a little dirty, usually busy, and does not have a Taco Bell attached to it like others in the area. But it's closest to the house, so it works in a chicken pinch. I used to like the popcorn chicken when I was a kid,but now it's kind of bland tasting and doesn't have the crunch I want in a chicken bite. Now, I'm all about that Georgia good sauce. You can get it on tenders, a chicken little sandwich, or the full size sandwich and it is what's up. It's like liquid gold dusted on to meat. Perfection. Also, I could literally sit down and just eat a meal made entirely of biscuits. Hot, fresh, buttery and flaky. To die for.

KFC stands for King of Fatal Coronaries, because that's what this place will give you. This KFC is right next to the I-290 at the Colvin exit. I was here about 6 months ago and again 4 months ago (both in 2015) to get 3-piece meals for an old lady I know who loves chain food. I shared some with her and while the taste of some things were good, the prices were obnoxious, and the service was pretty awful. I took awhile to figure out how to order, and they were clearly exasperated with me. I waited ages for the food to be ready, and asked for silverware, and none was provided. Definitely a 1 star then. I won't lie, I like the taste of Kentucky Fried Chicken, but when the hell did the prices go up from Wendy's prices to Boston Market prices? Over $10 for a few pieces of chicken and a few sides? The chicken is delicious (because it's hot, greasy and salty), but it's massively overpriced. Also it's very over-salted. I like salted stuff but I think a lot of people would (or should) find this too salty. However, this location is decently friendly and so I'll bump them up from a 1 to a 2 for that reason. It's not too easy to get in here especially when it's busy but I suppose it's better than some of the other locations and the food always comes out hot.

The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

Tables were too close, people are way too loud. I can't eat in loud surroundings. I don't like that, and it was so hot in there that it made me very uncomfortable. I believe all restaurants and bars, etc. should be air-conditioned and make people comfortable. If they're too cold, they can always put on a jacket but when you're too hot, I can't take much off. I ordered the roast beef on Weck and fries instead of potato chips. I was very satisfied it was delicious. Very expensive, I found everything was very expensive on the menu, but if you want good food, I guess that's what you gotta do is pay more. Jim ordered mild wings, they still looked good even though I'm a hot wing person. I was looking at everybody else's huge plates of wings that were coming out and they looked so amazing. I'm definitely gonna get some to take home some time. Anyway, the wings looked good smelled good, Jim said they were very good, my sandwich was good. The fries were good, the waitresses were nice so the service was pretty good. But again too small, too loud, too hot, and those things just don't make me happy. I probably would go in there again and eat if somebody else wanted to, but I'd rather take my food to go next time. One other issue I had is definitely the restroom. That had to be the smallest stall I have ever been in. Anytime I moved I banged into one of the walls. They have two stalls in there, which to me is definitely not enough when you're serving "spicy hot " food. At one point there was five people in the restroom. Luckily, I just had to wash my hands in that visit. But the restroom is way too small and when I talk to Jim about the ladies room, he said the men's room is super small too, so they're probably about the same size. So that was definitely a negative thing for me was the restroom.

It was a bit busy (30-40 min wait for dining area), but there were a few tables off to the right of the bar where you could seat yourself. Luckily, one opened up right as we walked in. When seated at these tables, you have to order at the bar. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the nuggiez -- the sauce cooled the boneless bites down a little, but the flavor was still great. I loved all the sauces we tried (saucy hot cajun, medium, and garlic parm). The wings were perfectly crisp, and the steak pizza had a ton of flavor. Definitely a heavier meal, but if you're bringing someone from out of town who wants great wings, this is a spot worth taking them to.

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.
