Prior to my most recent visit, it had been years since I'd last been here. However food was just as good as I remembered it, and portions much larger than I remember. I ordered takeout, and our food was ready on time and was hot. We got pad Thai and another noodle dish, and my goodness was the bag super heavy! My pad Thai was enough for TWO dinners! Jasmine's has been a staple for Thai food ever since I can remember. Their Pad Thai took me back to my childhood and they still had that great flavor that I always craved. The green curry is creamy and came with lots of veggies and chicken. We ordered it Thai hot, which definitely reached a 9/10 in my spice level. The best Thai food in Buffalo and I stand by it. When you ask for spice, you get spice. They're not playing around lol. My favorite items are the Pad Kea Mao, green curry and the basil fried rice. I'm so happy this restaurant has been able to remain open and still provide 5-star food! Their Pad Thai is amazing. I love pad Thai, and I like fish sauce, but sometimes the smell can over take the dish, not here. You can definitely taste it, which I love, BUT opening the container, you are not over whelmed with that funk. The portion could feed 3 people. Love how they put their peanuts off to side rather than mixing in. My husband doesn't like peanuts in his, so it makes this dish still sharable. If you love curry, it's a must to order the fried curry rolls. The fried dumplings and egg rolls are also delicious. Crispy with tons of filling. I'm not sure what the sauces are they provide with the rolls and dumplings, not your standard sweet chili sauce, but they are soooo good! I even throw it in my pad Thai! read more

Portions are huge regardless of lunch or dinner. Had the pad Thai and amazing chicken, and I would 100% recommend if you like peanuts in your dish. My boys and I came here for a late lunch. The food, service, and cleanliness were all great. I would love to go back there!

My wife and I tried this because we were in the area. We split an order of Bangkok Pasta (pad see ew) and an order of veggie fried rice. We really liked the flavor of both. The vegetables were fresh and the food was served very fast. I also ordered some pork fried dumplings and they were delicious. The server was very friendly too. They didn't have a lot of customers in the restaurant but they were definitely getting a lot of people picking up their takeout orders so they were considerably busy. Jasmine has long been one of my favorite Thai restaurants. Haven't been here since pre-pandemic. Still outstanding. Had steamed pork dumplings, tum yum chicken soup and chicken pad gapow. All were great. The gapow choices were hot or very hot. I went hot. At first I thought it was not that spicy but it had a slow burn and thank god for the rice. Great dish if you like spicy. Delicious too! Since the pandemic portions and prices have been out of whack everywhere but here the portions were decent for the price. If you w been there you know it's good. If not, you should go. Jasmine is a classic in the Buffalo area!! Came here with some gal pals for dinner. I ordered a spring roll which came with chicken and shrimp and a chicken pad see ew. Everything came out relatively quick despite it being a pretty busy night. The spring roll was overall pretty standard. The sauce was a little too runny for my liking. Have been here a number of times and have almost always had the Pad Thai as at least one of the dishes. Very good. The portions are huge and easily feed two people. Servers are efficient but not always knowledgeable regarding ingredients of some dishes. If you ask and don't receive a confidently sounding answer, ask for a confirmation from the kitchen, rather than getting an apology after your food arrives. So good!! Dinner with a friend and we ordered a lot! Spring rolls of chicken and shrimp. Egg rolls, chicken coconut cream soup to start. Holy dancing taste buds! The spring roll and coconut cream chicken soup were the appetizer stars! For mains pho and my friend pad kee mao. The spice level for her was off the charts, she couldn't eat it. Not to worry it was spicy but I loved it, so it was boxed up for me she replaced with pad thai. She found that to be just right! My pho was flavorful and packed with various meats and noodles, served with the usual accouterments, the broth was so flavorful. Yeah, it's always soup time in my world!! So happy to revisit this restaurant, it had been years and I'm happy to see that they haven't lost their touch. I've been hearing about how good Jasmine's food is for years and finally got to try it today when my coworker chose this for her birthday lunch. I'm so glad she did because we all loved our meals. I went with the tom yum soup & the shrimp curry. They were both absolutely delicious. I asked for my soup medium and my coworkers both got mild and said it was pretty spicy for them but not too bad. I thought the medium was just right. It had good heat but didn't make me sweat but I love spice. The shrimp curry was absolutely delicious. Would definitely get that again. read more

We were afraid to try the spicy dishes, so settled on the fried rice with shrimp. It was exceedingly bland and honestly seemed more like steamed brown rice. It did not include many flavor elements - just a few cilantro sprigs and bits of scrambled egg. I dug through the heap of rice to find those. The medium-sized shrimp were fine, but not hot. We had to ask for sauce, hoping to get something Thai. Instead we had soysauce placed on our table with an air of distain by the woman pouring icewater. The young hostess was sweet, and she voluntarily fixed our table which was wobbly. The calamari we had for an appetizer was good. It came with a simple sweet dipping syrup. It was also very loud in our room. The bill was $52, too much for what we got. However, there were two large tables of asian people in the front room who seemed happy. Our toddler immediately announced "This place smells bad" very loudly when we walked in the door (The place had that moldy/dirt smell that immediately begins to raise concerns). The meat tasted freezer burnt and likely was reheated a few too many times. The chicken was dry. I have a cast iron stomach, and even I was starting to feel a bit queasy by the time I choked down the Pad See Yuck. Suffice it to say that the night did not end well for those that partook. I ordered the green curry which was ok, although it didn't have any eggplant or Thai basil in it, which was disappointing. It had a lot of bamboo, as filler. The jasmine rice was mediocre... perhaps not the best quality and a touch over cooked. One party member sent back their pad Thai because she was disappointed with the mushy noodles. I had been so looking forward to this place after driving by it a few dozen times during shutdown. My boyfriend and I got the appetizer sampler, and it was okay, but felt very much like supermarket food. My fried rice looked yummy, but tasted again like the frozen fried rice I can get from a supermarket. Great portion sizes, but the food wasn't special and the service lacked in attention. My go-to dish here is Bangkok pasta (pad see ew). Not too sweet or salty, the texture of the noodles is perfect, and there is a good mix of protein/vegetables/meat. Other great dishes I've had here are panang beef or chicken and pad thai, which I would also recommend. Try the Thai tea as well! Service is quick and the staff is super nice. Order ahead about 30 min or so if you're doing pick up. The lot is not super large but you should be able to find parking usually. When they are open for indoor dining at full capacity, it can get quite packed and there can be a wait. That just shows how great this restaurant is. read more

April 14, 2020: During the COVID 19 pandemic our freedom of movement has been restricted. Nice to know we can rely on an old standby - delicious take out Thai from Jasmine. What a joy and relief. I needed my Thai fix after a month plus indoors hiding from the notorious and invisible virus. Love the great cooking, speedy service, reasonable prices. Previous review: Same great food, same great quick service. Generous portions. Updating my review to say that after coming here repeatedly for several years, I think the owners should seriously consider updating the interior of the restaurant. It is starting to look grubby, run down. The floors are dirty appearing. Waiting for the bathroom, there is only one each for male and female is inconvenient. The fish tank has no ambience. There's an ugly pipe sticking out of the side of the tank, and no interesting plants along with the few fish. I didn't enjoy the overall experience as much last when night dining in. My 5 star review is now 4 Star. I might enjoy take out service better outas a result. read more

Great place for lunch. For under $10 you can get a decent lunch portion. The flavor of the wonton soup is nice and light. A lot of bean sprouts. Decent flavor and a good size for lunch portion. The pad thai is more than enough for lunch. Sweet, not too spicy though. You can probably ask for extra, or just use the sauce they provide on the table. The coconut green curry shrimp was also sweet. Not too spicy, so make sure you order the right amount if you like it hot. The dinner menu is huge. I'd like to come back for that. read more
