I am totally impressed with this restaurant. The first thing that stood out for me, was the fact the restaurant was so clean. Many Chinese restaurants that are in the Buffalo area, I avoid due to the fact the inside looks so raggedy. As for the food, even though it's typical American style Chinese food. I will say that, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely order from here again. Mei fun- (chicken) nice amount to share. Flavor was ok, nothing really stood out with this entree Egg foo young- (shrimp) I really like this entree. The brown sauce was good, and the 3 egg Pattie's was not greasy at all. Beef and Broccoli- very good, especially the sauce. This entree you can share as well. Just needed another side order of rice

Sat down with my family. Such a delicious meal! Ambiance is one of old-school Chinese restaurant, and the menu was fantastic! Leftovers literally lasted a week, there was so much food! Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I were looking for a new Chinese place and Lee's was amazing!! It's a nice small little restaurant and this place was buzzing! When we came in to pick it up there must have been a new person entering every minute! We ordered and enjoyed the general tso's entree, house lo mein, and a side of the pork fried dumplings! The quality of the food for the price was five stars! So glad we tried Lee's fam out and we will definitely be back!

I've been meaning to find a Chinese cuisine spot as I am always craving it but most never seem to hit the spot. This place was different. This place was so deceiving from the outside but once you enter you are welcomed into a beautiful clean environment. Our waitress was so kind & very attentive. We got served quickly as well! I am usually not a fan of shrimp rangoon but my husband ordered it & I actually was in love! It is the best I have ever tried. Moreover, the fried rice was so flavorful & delicious. The general tso was so amazing & the chicken was real and cooked perfectly. I am so pleased by this restaurant & I will definitely come back to try more!

This place really is a small hidden gem. They are clean, you won't find a crumb on the floor. Best part is they are cooking your food fresh. There is more alot a wait so order ahead of time. It's worth it!

Fried wontons strips are always good for munching before the meal.

This place seems to be very promising. They already have Ma Po Tofu and Pad Thais on the menu. Last time, I saw a note about dim sum being offered soon. We experienced only a wonderful service. Our meals were good and satisfying. Lee's Family prepares tasty food. Their hot and sour and wonton soups are one of the best. We tried Moo Shu Shrimp, Hunan and Mongolian Beef and it was all very good, not too oily and decent portions. Only one time my Pineapple Shrimp was not described accurately. It was 'sweet and sour' style with sweet red sauce and fried breaded shrimp. The pineapple was canned and added even more sugar. It won't be my choice in the future. All entrees with rice are available for lunch and dinner combo, which is a great deal. I'm always in search of good 'chow fun' and it could be my next choice when I'm around. The interior looks much like it did under the previous owners -- simple, clean with cozy lighting. There is always music playing and the atmosphere is quiet, calm and inviting.

Small place that was quiet when I got there. Snuggled into a strip mall so very unassuming. I had a hankering for Chinese and wanted to find someone to provide. They did just that. Got some pork fried rice and beef lo mein with some steamed dumplings to kick it off. The dumplings are the win as far as to-go food. Each was a little pillow of flavor that started me off well. The orders I got were small so I could finish them but had a little more rice than meat. I had the option to add more but held off. Overall a good choice for my price. The site was easy to use and the woman working the counter was kind

We ate inside, the ambiance was nice. They had a lot of options for food. Some of the food was really good & some was ok.

Ask the Community - Lee‘s Family

Is dining in an option at Lee's? Or are they only takeout?

Last time I was there was a couple weeks ago and there were people sitting at the tables, but things could change at any moment with COVID

When they rang me up I thought it was pricey for some "average" Chinese takeout , but now this is my NEW and ONLY spot I'm going to go to! The cashier was a little gruff, but the woman running back and forth between the kitchen and the front had a better business sense about keeping customers happy. She didn't want me to wait long, so I think she rushed the kitchen a little bit, which I appreciated, but also may have led to some of the demerits on the food I mention below. I was happy to see one dish I ordered, the pig intestine with fish, on their picture board above the cash registers. That gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and it was the best dish by far out of the three I ordered. The intestine was fresh and flavorful, the spice level was high, but also not too salty. It was a lot of food. Only drawback here was the fish (tilapia?) seemed to be heavy on the breading. The other two dishes were disappointing. Penang curry with pork had good vegetables, but the sauce had too little flavor since they went too heavy on the coconut milk. The pork seemed like chicken, not pork. Way too soft and flavorless. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun had good noodles and veggies. But the curry powder was not blended in. Eating it, I could still feel it in powder form. It was also far too oily. Overall, I think they had a lot of options but next time I'd steer more towards classic Chinese, since that seems to be what they do well. I hope next time the flavors will be stronger and blended better (i.e. powders actually stirred in). I'm willing to give them another chance, since they do have a lot of dishes I like. Last note: the online ordering service does not indicate that dishes come with rice. I thought they would have rice by default, but then when I added the penang curry to my cart, it asked whether I wanted rice or noodles or something else. So that made me think I had to order rice separately, which meant I had twice as much rice as I needed. It also said "quart of white rice" was sold out, but "pint of white rice" was not, yet the rice that came with my meal came in a quart container.

I saw other tables received steamer baskets full of dumplings: Bao, shiu mai, and xiao long bao, which was a very attractive presentation. There are no condiments on the table, but the waitress will bring whatever you ask for. I ordered the spiciest thing on the menu: Dan Dan noodles. I'm on a quest for something to make me feel the burn. This wasn't it either. If I had to guess the ingredients, I'd say a cup of fried ground pork over a quart of mushy noodles, water for broth, and a sprinkling of chopped cilantro floating in a quarter teaspoon chili oil. At the very bottom of the bowl there was a slight taste of mala chili peppers. At $14 it was filling, nourishing, but I'd probably try the soup dumplings next time.
