On this visit to KFC I did dine-in instead of takeout. It was kind of slow when I entered the restaurant so I was able to place my order at the counter right away. I ordered a two piece combo meal which was served with mashed potatoes plus a biscuit and a drink. My meal was put together pretty fast and when I got it I went to sit down in the dining area. There was plenty of seating and the tables were clean. The floor and the restroom was also clean. As far as the food goes everything was flavorful and tasted freshly made. Every single time I go here through the drive thru the food is never given. I always have to pull over and wait 10 minutes and usually just end up having to go get it. Went up there for an 8-piece that comes with 2 sides. Chose potatoes and cole slaw like I usually do. Get to the pickup window and the bill is $35 !!! Haven't been here in a while, but used to pop in every so often for a KFC fix. So decided to get a quick bite today, but getting home and opening my dinner was very,very disappointed! I have to say. With the pandemic going on and people scurrying about I am hard pressed to eat at a fast food take out place. Last week I went just for coleslaw and it's a tall dark gent who had his mask hanging off his face. Total neglect for why the reason he has the mask. I came today and had to get some gravy. I pulled up and the place looked clean. The staff looked clean and had on gloves , masks , and very respectful It was a pleasure. April 21. 2:30 or so. They use the online app for my ordering now. That's cool. Everyone else is doing it! But when I was locked out of my account I tried to call the order in(I was going to pick it up anyway), she told me that they only take orders thru the app. When I explained to her again why I was calling, she refused to take care of the order. Went to the Norwell store and explained what happened with the Weymouth store and asked if THEY would have taken the order. She said she didn't understand why the other store didn't. read more

I went to the KFC on Washington St in Weymouth a short time ago and when I arrived home the gravy opened and got all over everything and they forgot the chocolate cake. What the heck is up with all of the 1star reviews. What a convenient spot along Highway 18 for a good 'ol KFC! The Weymouth location might not have as much curb appeal as some of the newer fast food joints in the area (....the Norwell KFC), but the service is great and it's always dead, in terms of customers that is. Service isn't especially fast or efficient, but it's the perfect place for a quick, cheap lunch if you are in the area. Burger King and McDonald's are both around, but who enjoys either of those establishments... there burgers taste horrible, and since I don't have fried chicken all that much, this was sort of a treat. If you're looking for somewhere to get a great meal in less than five minutes, the Weymouth KFC is a great choice. The $5 Fill-Ups are great, mashed potato is great, and those biscuits. Yum. This location seemed to have larger portions of everything (even the box seemed much bigger.....) than I have had in the past at others.... but maybe I'm just imagining. Either way, my order was accurate and tasty, and they were nice enough at the drive through, so regardless of how I think the building should look (preferably like the KFC in Norwell), I digress and say that this experience wasn't half bad. HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE!!!. Look at the pictures, this is what I got when I got home and opened the bucket. Chicken was burned and overcooked to the point it was turning grey. Everyone makes mistakes when cooking food, but the server should not have put that in the bucket. Wont ever go there again. read more

Good fried chicken when the craving hits. The potato wedges are inconsistent, sometimes real good and sometimes taste old. Don't care much for much else besides a bucket every now and then... but that's why I go there and it is named what it is. The go cups are not great, tenders not great, chicken little not great... but fried chicken, hells yeah. We stood in line for so long only to get dried out chicken -- not even edible. First, we had to listen to the manager Alisha argue with almost every customer in front of us. She is just so crude. A trip that should take no more than 10 minutes turns in to a half an hour wait because they NEVER have anything ready. No dark meat, no extra crispy, no hot wings, no white meat, etc. Whenever I go there I am sure to find that at least one of the items I schlepped over there for is out. I live down the street from this KFC and have been for about 35 years. This KFC was great when it started out. Lately it has been horrible. The chicken is always wrong in some way, shape, or form. Either it is too greasy or there is too much breading around it. One thing is that it is never crispy here. The coleslaw taste like it has been there about a month in the fridge. The french fries are usually too dry or too soggy. The mash potatoes are too small a portion size for the money you pay. read more

I often go there for lunch and I have been so impressed because of Natalie who remembers me each time I go there, regardless of if I'm doing drive through, or dining in. My husband and I were in this restaurant in Weymouth, MA the other day. the quality of food was fine but what prompted me write this review is the way that one of their staff, Natalie, treated us. I have been in different KFC restaurants before but it was my first time that one of their staff was so patient and kind to help me order my food and despite their being busy with other customers she patiently answered my questions and explained what I was asking about different KFC meals. I went to the drive through on the 21.12.12 around 6pm. I asked for a Gladiator meal. The guy did not understand and I could not understand him. I ended up with a Zinger meal somehow. I accepted as still looked pretty good. 2 hours later i had food poisoning and it was coming out both ends until 3 a.m and wrote off work next day. With the chicken wings being 99% batter and 1% meat (or so it seemed) mixed with bad customer service and food poisoning I definately will not be coming here again. read more

yes 4 stars because you do know what you are getting it is fast food. I had a coupon for bogo 2 piece meal. I have come into that and other franchises with that coupon and had a hard time because it is not listed on the board. Lauren the manager knew exactly what to do with it and was extremely polite while doing so. I requested extra crispy breast and thigh but no e.c. thighs were available so she gave me 4 breasts and no extra charge. She felt she inconvenienced me so she handed me a cup to get a drink on her. Stopped in for the first time a couple weeks ago on a weeknight. The girl at the counter told me they were out of white meat chicken. "KFC" has no white meat chicken. Okay. Kind of annoying, but maybe just an off night. So I said thanks and left. Figured I'd give it another try and stopped in again tonight. I asked for a bucket of thighs and drumsticks, the guy at the counter looks at me like I just ordered something no one has ever asked for. He checks with the guys in the back then comes back and tells me they have no dark meat chicken tonight. If I want to, I can have the white meat chicken but I have to pay more. What???
