Food was hot and fresh and the servers were very polite. Our experience was not consistent with some of the bad reviews I've seen on here.

I don't know what happened to KFC these last few years. I remember when it was a great treat to get "The Colonel" for dinner. Affordability has affected every restaurant, grocery or fast food, that is something they overcome with great service and making you want to be there. What happens at this location, 5PM, Friday night. Mind you the location is advertising open until 11:00. They are out of chicken "we didn't anticipate so many customers" then get this "I already sent the cook home." So for six hours you have nothing to serve? Another time, we do an online order, this way they at least have advanced warning that there is an order coming in--right? There was a 30 minute wait after we arrived 15 minutes after placing the order. The workers don't seem to have any leadership, and no idea what they are supposed to be doing. When they were asked for a manager, there wasn't one available. When asked for the owners as I knew Fugate Enterprises no longer owned them. They weren't sure. When we finally got the bucket of chicken $30 worth, I may add. We got home and we at least got the original recipe, but the bucket was all dark meat. If you were going to serve all dark meat, then I should have gotten a discount, as you charge me more if I want white meat. There are other chicken restaurants around, and some are as close to one on every corner, there is just something that was nostalgic about having the "colonel" too bad the staff don't appreciate the fact they have a job to do, and serving chicken is one of them. I hate to be so negative, I am just so disappointed as this is not the first time, and was not a lapse of the day. i placed a mobile order, waited over 30 minutes to get my food, they forgot 3 of my items, i checked my bag before i left. i went inside and told them. the older lady that worked there had a terrible attitude and kept making side comments as i was waiting for the stuff they forgot. something along the lines "i know she's lying i checked the bag and everything was in there" huffing and puffing. i finally asked if i needed to go get the bag and show her the stuff. "oh no baby i don't need that baby" and then continued to make more comments "just give her the stuff you know how this stuff goes" again trying to insinuate i was lying about this. i know things happen but the customer service was godawful and that is what i'm most upset about. read more

I've been going to this restaurant for a while. Best restaurant I ever love going for when I'm over. I'm on lunch break. I always get the same thing every time had a little disagreement with the workers there every time I get a lemonade. I either get a large and they charge me for a large lemonade, but they only give me a medium cup every time I know it's not that much of a charge but it's just a principle of the matter if you're out of large cups, I would like to be notified if I'm going to be charged for a large cup. read more

I've wanted KFC for three days so I finally made it tonight at 6:20. I spent $35 on a 12 piece family meal and they didn't have enough traditional so I took half and half. The chicken looked ratty and was horrible. I worked for KFC in college for 2years and they train you well on how to drop quality chicken. This place needs to be shut down. Just terrible. I am always polite when I order through the drive through, pull up to pay and sure to say thank you before I exit. After ordering accessories due to me being in the middle of moving, no utensils or condiments currently. I made sure to order in the drive through and ask the lady handing us our order wearing a vertical pen-stripe top (indicating management to me) she open the bag, looked in and said "ya everything's in there while patting the sides." Shame on me for not triple checking before I left... excuse me while I try to drink my famous bowl. How hard is it. read more

This location was very rude and had no good communication for door dash drivers very unprofessional made me wait 20 minutes for new food because we were told the order was already picked up when It was in fact not picked up yet and the food was still cold. read more

Drive thru on my way home from work. It was wet and raining outside, but the chicken lacked flavor and was DRY! The potato wedges were completely INEDIBLE!! I believe that I will only order green beans side dishes in the future, as they are not as easy to overcook. read more

I will never patron this business again. You will never receive a single dollar from me or my family again. You have lost a customer for life, as well as at least 5-10 other people who will read this. Every time I have visited your location, I have received either bad food, bad service, or a combination of the two. Your lobby is disgusting, your staff is poorly trained and they couldn't really give two pieces of monkey crap about customers. It's a shame too, because this location used to be great, I have eaten at this location many times over the last 10 years. Not sure what happened, but I have been to your store five times in the last six months, and ALL FIVE TIMES I have been disappointed or frustrated. I have been to ANY Chic-fil-a in Wichita at least 50 times in the same last 6 months, and NEVER received bad service, bad food, or been disgruntled in any way. But your location has managed to piss me off 5 straight times in a row. It's ridiculous how bad you are; today I tried to get a bucket for the family on the way home, only to sit in the drive-thru for TEN MINUTES before getting to the order menu and was told you are OUT OF CHICKEN. ALL CHICKEN?!?!?! Let me get this straight... a Kentucky Fried CHICKEN, who ONLY sells fried chicken, is OUT of the main thing you sell?!?! I was told it would be 45 minutes before they had more ready, which means someone dropped the ball. The time before this visit, I went into the lobby with my family and we stood there waiting to be served or even GREETED for like 5 minutes! When someone finally greeted us, they looked at us like we were stupid and somehow bothering them, and said: "I'll take your order here." The only reason I gave this location a 5th chance was because it is so close to my house, and I am a business owner and believe in giving several chances. Everyone makes mistakes. But clearly, this location has a problem from the top down. They clearly do not care about customers and think that just because they have the name KFC that they can get away with poorly managing the store. Nope, not on my watch. I'll be telling everyone I know to avoid this location. Maybe the owners will finally get smart and start to care about customer service, quality, and good training before they finally crash and close the business; but I doubt it. read more

This kfc has taken 10 min to get us our food and we were waiting for more than that for them to give the food to the people in front of us. Super slow, need more workers to keep up with cooking a few orders. I've never been to a single kfc that has ever taken this long for a small amount of food. read more

Completely incompetent staff working at this KFC. Every time I have stopped in to eat, they are out of the chicken that I wanted. They are very slow so don't expect to get your meal in a timely manner. You are going to wait. You can hear the employees asking each other which order are you on. read more

Come here if you want the wrong order or horrible service provided by employees. Multiple times back to back have had the wrong order was given an attitude by lady who was taking orders. When the food was the right order that's the only thing deserving of a star so the cooks are doing good but everyone else really needs to step their game up if they want their location to succeed. read more

This restaurant is supposed to open at 10:30 am. I came to the drive thru at 10:45am and waited 5 minutes, no one acknowledged me so I drove around to the pick up window. I thought maybe they didn't hear the drive thru go off. The woman at the window told me they weren't open yet. I said I thought you Opened at 10:30am and it's now 10:50am. She said the chicken wasn't ready yet and they wouldn't open for at least another 20 minutes. If I were the franchisee of this restaurant I would be furious that my staff not only lost a sale and a customer but delayed opening the restaurant by well over 30 minutes. read more

Absolute best KFC ever - have been regulars since last spring - old building - needs replaced - customer service absolutely the best - attentive, efficient, friendly, helpful - when going in or drive thru - repeat orders to check for accuracy - suggests coupons, combos and add ons that make your meal cheaper or more enjoyable - we almost always add sides now - and yet not pushy - food cooked well and packaged nicely - we will drive out of our way to go to this KFC - thank you West St. KFC ! read more

Worst KFC ever. Visited this place 3 times. Once they couldn't take order because "computer" didn't work, once waited forever for someone to take drive in order, third and last time food was burned and order was wrong. One Star is too good. read more
