Most oiliest dish I've ever had in my entire life. Mandi goat karahi. And to our shock they charged us for 2 persons for a single order. So 30$ for a single curry. Yes the meat quantity was perfect for 2 people but they should have mentioned this while we order or write it clearly on the menu. Slowest service ever. Only 1 man doing serving, cashier, cleaning and probably cooking? We ordered at home, drove there, still waited a solid 30mins for this dish to arrive. First they gave us chicken Karachi. Then they changed it with goat karahi. The chicken shek kebab: very bland, tasteless, cold, not good at all. Wouldn't recommend. They don't have onions or any lemon on the side too.. Tandoori roti was ok. Should be eaten warm otherwise it gets very hard. Wouldn't go here again. What a disappointing and dissatisfying meal. Wasted calories, appetite and calories. :(

Khan Karahi Kabob is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant offering surprisingly authentic Pakistani food in a shabby setting. We started, of course, with kabobs, and the Chicken Tikka Breast and Tandoori Fish Tikka were lightly spiced, freshly-grilled kabobs, topped with raw sliced tomatoes, white onions, and jalapeños. But my favorite meat was the Gola Kabob, made of heavily spiced ground beef shaped into a log around a skewer. The kabobs came with a green cilantro mint chutney on the side, which added the perfect brightness and freshness to cut through the meat. In addition to the kabobs, we also tried the Palak Paneer, a creamy spinach puree spiced with whole cinnamon sticks and containing cubes of paneer. The curry went nicely with the freshly baked rounds of Plain Naan (with chewy doughy edges and a thin interior) and Whole Wheat Roti, a thin and crispy wholemeal flatbread. Overall, the flavors of the dishes here were on point--nicely spiced and not too salty, and the service and prices were friendly too, though the setting could have been cleaner.

I've only tried the sheek Kabab Karahi so far, and it was absolutely delicious. Even the naan was really good. I'll definitely visit this place again and try more dishes.

The food was delicious- highly recommend the Chapli, choley, and Namak Mandi Karahis. The ambience was great too. Good Pashtun music and serving dishes Jazakallah Khair to the family that runs this restaurant they truly take care of their customers.

Karahi Chicken is a specialty dish, translating to to "wok chicken." This restaurant is famous for their karahi chicken and they did not disappoint. The chicken was cooked with the fragrant spices to perfection. It was amazingly flavorful. This is the dish you should go for when you're here. We also had the fresh naan which you can see being made in the kitchen - they are made to order to expect soft hot bread being served. As an extra we order chicken kebabs too which were soft and moist and again, very flavorful. This is a casual place with booths and tables. The place is clean. There were many families eating there and all had a karahi dish of some kind. It's a counter service place- go to the front where you order and expect a 10 minute wait before your food will be served. The service was great. The young lady at the front explained the dishes care and gave her recommendations. The food here is phenomenal Pakistani cuisine. It's a very casual place, using disposable plates and plastic ware. There are large pictures of Pakistan on the walls which adds to the authenticity. A great place for some tasty Pakistani cuisine

I had high hopes on this restaurant , since I was very tired wifey wanted to take me out for dinner. So we decided to try khan karahi. Read reviews prior and learnt that service takes time, so ordered over phone and reached in ten minutes. Food was served within 10 minutes. Namakmandi Goat Karahi 2 out of 5 - since we were not aware of the portion size , we placed order for 2 person. It could be easily around 32oz chicken karahi dish. So much meat and the let off was it had so much oil. Not at all appetising. Completely unhealthy from my perspective. If oil is reduced from this dish, I would love it. Chicken Seekh Kebab 1 out of 5 - not at all fresh , very rubbery. I do not recommend this dish. Ordered one whole wheat roti and it was decent. Wanted some onions on the side, but they ran out it seems. Green sauce for kebab was okay. Service was good and the staff obliged to our request's. Ambiance was good nothing much more to comment. Overall this restaurant was not our cup of tea. Went with my pregnant wife, and with the amount of oil in karahi, we were literally feeling pukish.

DON'T GO for BIRYANI! It is disgrace to call that piece of oily rice to be called Biryani! Goat Namakmandi karohi was on the contrary very good in flavor and quantity of meat even with one person portion size for two ppl. Noticeably the thick layer of oil and extra salt enhances the taste if you don't mind once in a while.

Chicken tikka masala, zafrani rice, naan.

The food here is incredibly tasty and flavorful, the chicken tikka masala was rich in flavor and had a bit of heat which is something ive been missing in others that ive tried, the mango lassi was the perfect beverage to help cool the palate and prep to take another bite. 10/10 would recommend.

Do they serve puri Chana for brunch time?

Choley Poori and Poori Paratha are in their Special items menu, its subjected to availability that day. I asked for the Poori Paratha once for dinner, it was not available that day.

I love the grilled chicken legs - they look like Indian tandoori chicken but tastes better. The naan here is much thicker and fuller than other places so order saucy items soak up the gravy with the thicker naan. They were a little disorganized, but the decor and vibes were very homey. Their portions are fairly large, and overall the food was pretty decent, although not all of the dishes were my cup of tea I will say. This was my first time having Afghanan cuisine, so take what I say here in my review with a grain of salt. I rounded up because the food was pretty tasty and filling, but wasn't super impressed by the overall experience. So, to me, flavor and quality of the food is more important than the overall experience with the staff and vibes of the space. I would have given a 3.5/5 if I could. Food: 4/5 A friend mentioned that this is his family's go to spot for some of the most authentic Afghan food, so this is what I am basing the rest of this review on. We ordered Triple Kabob Murgh, Teka and Chaplee Kabob, Quabili Pallow, Mantu, Aushak, Sabzi Challow, Kado Borani, and Doogh. The kabob meats were all seasoned differently and were very tender, but everything else had a very similar palate to each other. Everything was fairly tasty, and the lamb wasn't too gamey, which I appreciated. If you try the Doogh yogurt drink, know that it is sour and an acquired taste, my friends said it wasn't good until they ate some food along side it. Staff/Space: 3.5/5 The staff wasn't the most friendly nor did they really come to check on us. The guy just took the order and brought our order and that was the only real interactions we had with the staff. The space in general was super homey and very much set for cozy family vibes. There is a decent amount of space inside and outside to accommodate for various party sizes. There is only street parking, which is not super convenient.

The gentleman who took our order (very sweet btw) came back a few minutes later to tell us that they were out of the beef kabob, which was a bummer as we were really looking forward to it. So, we pivoted to the aloo tikka. Appetizers were tasty, my favorite being the aloo tikka. The chicken roll was good, but not particularly memorable. The sauce it came with didn't taste like much. For main courses, we got the chicken tikka pizza, and the Mirchi garlic chicken noodles, and this is where it starts to falter a bit. The pizza was delicious, a nice fluffy crust the way I like it (I am so tired of this thin crust pizza propaganda. I'm not falling for it!). But the noodles are where I was disappointed. This is the dish that I had seen on my feed and was most excited to try, but it just fell short. Because there is garlic in the name, I expect it to be one of the predominant flavors, and it was hardly detectable. The chicken didn't have much flavor itself, but the noodles had a nice springiness that I appreciate. Overall, I would come back, as they have more on the menu that I want to try, specifically that beef kabob.
