This restaurant is large. You can order from the kiosk or at the counter. I ordered from the counter. The atmosphere is similar to a chain restaurant. It was very busy. I ordered grilled fish. I was told that every entree comes with salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. I asked for a double portion of salad. I also ordered plain naan. The fish was good. I had been told it was spicy, but I did not think it was spicy at all. It was accompanied by a few slices of tomato, onion, and cucumbers. The naan was warm and comforting. I recommend this restaurant if you want a fast meal.

Made a takeout order here. It's a large spot with plenty of seating (and parking), so would be interested in dining in here Chicken boti malai roll delicious A little pricey at 14. I was hungry after Large space inside with plenty of seating

Ok meat lovers - this is the spot for some of the best kebabs you can get in the Bay Area. Their story says that they started as a little cart in Karachi, and have been expanding since then. This may be one of their first locations in the U.S. I am sure glad they picked the Bay Area for it. Come here for the wide variety of kebabs they offer. There is probably nothing with gravy on the menu, nor is this a good place for a vegetarian. So if you are looking for that, go elsewhere. Their bun-andaa is to die for. The simplest of things yet perfectly done. Reminded me of the street stalls serving eggs on toast on cold winter nights in Delhi. The lamb chops melt in your mouth - and it's a pretty decent sized helping, that's ways to share. The food tends to be on the spicier side, so be sure you can handle it. I would stay away from the wraps - they are just a bit too oily for my taste. The service is fast. Pretty much self service with a wide open kitchen showing where the grilling happens. The inside is packed on weekends, and there may be a wait to get seated. Pretty clean interior, with a functional layout to accommodate the crowds. Good for big groups that are hungry

First visit, no clue what to order, the staff was helpful -- she recommended a few popular dishes for us to try, which I appreciated. The mango lassi was tasty but a bit pricey at $6 for a small-to-medium cup. The Beef Seekh Kabob (12 pcs for $16) was flavorful, however the portion was a bit small for the price. The Masala fries were disappointing, it was more like regular fries sprinkled with little spice powder, overall it's bland. In a nut shell, food was okay but pricey with small portion.

Solid 4 stars. First time here and highly recommended by friend who lives in the area. I ordered the original leg & thigh signature chicken tikka and the 6-piece signature seekh beef kabob, with a side of garlic naan. The food was truly fantastic. The chicken tikka was incredibly flavorful and had this amazing char from the grill. I wished I had ordered two pieces! The beef kabob was just as great; it was so tender and cooked perfectly. And the naan...They definitely didn't skimp on the garlic - loved it as it came out freshly made Ordering is simple: either via the kiosks or with the cashier. You are given a buzzer to return to that area to pick up your food when ready. Each order is made to order so expect at least a 10 minute wait, especially for the bbq'd meats. After the meal, we both had chai tea. $2/cup, self serve, next to the soda machines around the left side. Plenty of parking here. The restaurant is quite big inside with plenty of tables. There's a private dining room in the back. Clean and organized. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing, which feels a little high for the portion sizes and overall value. Despite the slight pricing concern, the overall dining experience was great and the food tasted fantastic.

This is my first time trying Indopak bbq, so I'm not familiar with the cuisine and probably not the best judge. The food was well prepared, the place was nice, and no complaints about the service, thus 4 stars. But personally, I wasn't a big fan of the food. It was all quite dry (and maybe that's how it's supposed to be??) What we ordered: + Beef Bihari Boti - this had an odd texture, kinda like pate when you press you fork on it. Besides the texture, I didn't care for the taste -- reminded me of liver. + Grilled fish - this was quite good. It had good seasoning and wasn't dry. + Chicken Boti - this was seasoned well, but oh so dry. + Basmati rice - dry + Naan - unlike most naan I've tried, which were a little fluffy, this naan was very flat with no leavening. It has a chewy texture. It was not bad; just different. Glad I gave this place a try, but I'll probably stick with my usual Indian places.

Actually pretty good, affordable, and tasty! Really loved the flavorful bihari grilled fish. Super tender and well seasoned! The chicken boti was pretty good too but I found myself not the biggest fan of the mushy yogurt coating around the chicken. Otherwise it was really tender and cooked well. Masala fries were tasty but wish they had a more pillowy middle. Food came out within 15 minutes. The place is mostly self serve: order in a kiosk, and grab your food when ur buzzard rings. Sauces and water are also self serve. The place is very big and spacious with tons of seating.

100% halal menu, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. I came here on a late weeknight and it totally hit the spot. Love that there's a spot open til midnight around town. I ordered the fish, the beef Bihari, the malai chicken, and naan. Everything absolutely hit the spot. If I had to say my favorite it was the beef Bihari. Fish was almost a tie. The malai chicken was good but I'm not a huge fan. I didn't try their kabobs and plan to in the future. They do seem to be very skin and thin kabobs, so if I order it seems I'll need to order some extra because folks will run through those quick! Plenty of parking and restaurant is clean and well staffed. Already looking forward to coming back!

Came with family after a long drive from Vegas for dinner. This dude, the manager is rude AF. We ordered on kiosk, went to him asked for beeper for my table and extremely rude replying with bad attitude 'yes you should know when you ordered' I told him it's my first time and he replied 'you should know for the next time'. lol moreover the beeper never vibrated as he gave us a wrong one.

I decided to give this place a try since it's right next to my bank. I always like to support local, mom-and-pop spots and was hopeful for a good experience. A few things to note: there are no combo meals -- you have to order everything individually. I went with the grilled chicken tikka thigh ($8), a side of rice ($2), and garlic naan ($3). Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations. The rice lacked the flavor I'm used to from other Indian restaurants, and the chicken tasted more like plain grilled spicy chicken than proper tikka. The garlic naan had good flavor but was so tough it was difficult to bite through. The one standout was the green sauce -- it was genuinely delicious. Service is basically nonexistent. You order at a kiosk and wait for your number to be called -- no greeting, no interaction, not even a simple hello. It felt a bit impersonal, especially for a small business. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly, I won't be back.

This was my 1st time here. We ordered the fry fish. It was a bit salty for us. The dessert is alright. I think Indian dessert is a bit more sweeter than Vietnamese dessert (in my opinion). So, if you have sweet tooth, then I would recommend you to try this dessert. They don't have much servers. Basically, you ordered the food & pick it up when the pager vibrate. This environment is like a self servers restaurant similar to other Indian restaurants.

Server was sweet yet she didn't really know anything about the menu items, and never refilled our drinks. She was cleaning the entire time, so not like she wasn't doing anything but by the end of our very disappointing meal, I was chewing on the ice in my empty drink cup trying to hydrate. Both my husband and I ordered the burnt ends plate. They seem to be a pretty popular item and I notice they upcharge for them on certain plates. These burnt ends were TERRIBLE on both our plates. They were so tough and dry, and were so hard to chew through that I couldn't really eat more than 1/2 of what was on my plate. My cornbread was super dry too, the dollop of butter that was on top didn't do much justice. Greens were the best thing on the plate.. but lacked serious flavor. At least the salt & pepper on the table helped with those. Our tab was around $60 for two plates, an unsweetened iced tea & a sprite (that were never refilled) and it pained me to pay for food to literally be thrown away because it was inedible. Coming from someone who works in the food service industry, that hurt. It's a shame because I remember this place being so good and I wanted to really enjoy my experience again. Maybe the kitchen had an off day and rushed the process on the burnt ends.. I don't know. But they should really test them out before sending them out in the future. I really dislike giving not great reviews... but sometimes we just can't let things like these slide. We all work too hard to be spending our hard earned money on bad food that pretty much ends up going to waste.

When you enter and get seated, you will be prompted to go on the url code at the table to pick your items. While I understand that this is the new way for restaurants to serve guests post-covid, the vast menu items you have to scroll through makes me long for physical menus of the past - but that's just my boomer take for the day. There were a bunch of other items like rice and noodle dishes that looked interesting to pair with the meats, but we were only craving bbq so we skipped out on the carbs. We ordered a BUNCH of skewers, from the standard beef, lamb, pork belly to chicken skin and a fried quail. All of the skewers had the same type of dried chili powder spice seasoning mix so unfortunately there wasn't too much of a diversity in flavor profile but on the flip side, it allowed us to focus more on enjoying the meat quality itself (this is where rice or noodles would definitely help cut through the richness). All of the meats were incredibly well-cooked and charred. It is on the drier side, so be aware if you are looking for a juicier, plumper cut of meat that some other restaurants have. Paired with the Chinese vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil, they were super delectable. My personal favorites were the pork belly, chicken skin, and beef. We had some leftovers to go and the staff provided us some extra sauce to go so that's a big plus. Great food here and definitely will be back to try more of the other menu items for the full experience.

We didn't have to wait and were immediately sat at the bar. Total was about $60 a person but we ordered ALOT, including 2 sake drinks, 2 shitake mushroom skewers, knee cartilage, short rib, ikura grilled rice ball, 2 chicken hearts, 2 shishito peppers, two tofus, oyster chicken, and probably more. I'm honestly a sucker for tapas-sized items because I love trying a variety of things when I eat, so I think I naturally would rate this place higher. Also not a ton of yakitori places in the East Bay so very little competition. Pros: - Honestly, pretty good meat skewers. My standout favorites were the chicken hearts, the kalbi short ribs, the mushrooms. I liked the crunch of the chicken hearts and the tenderness of the kalbi cubes, and I like that there's some non-meat options like the tofu and peppers to cleanse yourself a little bit. - Really easy ordering system, with paper and pencil. - Great for parties of 1-2, my friend and I were right at the bar and we got to watch the skewers cook and have them handed right to us. I think because we were seated here, I felt like the service was really fast. - Because it wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night, even though it says there's a 90 min seated wait time, we were there well over 2 hours (but also maybe because we kept ordering lol) - Plenty of easy parking spots in this plaza - All the staff were nice - Nice dark Japanese street food bar like ambiance, great for a casual night out Cons: - not great for parties of more than 2, there's a few booths in the restaurant that could fit 4 people maybe but I could see a long wait if it's a busy night. - The chicken items (other than the chicken hearts) were subpar in my opinion (which I guess shouldn't be surprising) so I won't be ordering them again Overall, I would definitely come back, but maybe order 1-2 dishes fewer and avoid the fried rice ball (I loved the ikura on this but felt like I could do without it).

First, I ordered through the restaurant's online system hoping to dodge all of the DoorDash cuts so their people gets all the money. But their system put in a wait time at 30 minutes, which I somewhat already knew it was unrealistic. The restaurant then called me telling me that the wait will be 45 minutes which I said exactly this, "that's fine, I'll wait". When I showed up at the restaurant tried to retrieve my order after 45+ minutes, a waitress said, "oh, I thought you didn't want the order so I never put it in". Then I said, "No, I said I could wait; I even told her that I'd see you there" I kept my cool, but you'd think they'd try to fix what went wrong, but the waitress continue to proceed with, "no you'd still have to wait another 45 minutes". Didn't ask if I could wait or checked how long I've already waited. Again, I totally understand the chaos during a Saturday dinner and try very best to empathize with services. But also, I think the way it was handled is quite unprofessional and tone deaf. I don't think it was necessary for anyone to give me a call, if I ordered through the system, I wish there's a way for the restaurant to notify the wait time through their text/online system, just like their waitlist. If they really don't want people to flake on their orders, maybe take card deposits or text confirmation or something. All in all, I won't be going there anytime soon. Their business is doing well and certainly doesn't need our money.

Sweet Crisp Duck - Garlic meat? Tasteless, oily, we didn't even touch the whole dish.

Refreshing Cold Noodles and a Great Variety of Skewers…read more This was a standout meal that balanced comfort and something a little different. I came in mostly curious about the skewers, but the cold noodles ended up being the surprise highlight. Cold Noodles If you're on the fence about cold noodle soup -- get this. The broth is lightly tangy and deeply refreshing without being overly sweet or vinegary. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the sliced cucumber added crunch and brightness. Topped with two soft-boiled eggs and fresh cilantro, it was simple but extremely satisfying. On a hot day, this hits the spot in a way hot ramen just can't. And even though it's light and chilled, it's still filling. Grilled Skewers There were a lot of unique options and cuts -- lamb, chicken, beef, and more. Each skewer was well seasoned and cooked properly, with a good char but never dry. The flavors leaned slightly smoky with a hint of spice, and the meat was tender. It's a great way to try a few different proteins without committing to a big entrée. Overall Experience There was a bit of a language barrier when ordering, but the staff was friendly and made sure everything came out as expected. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was casual but comfortable. If you're looking for something outside the usual ramen or hot pot spots, this is absolutely worth visiting. Great variety, excellent flavors, and that cold noodle bowl alone makes it worth the trip. Highly recommended

I really wanted to like this place based on previous reviews. However, when you enter the…read morerestaurant and see ABSOLUTELY no other patrons, you get suspicious. We ordered a whole duck to-go. We got home and it was COLD. Like it was sitting in the refrigerator for days and they just repacked it for sale. After warning it up, it was evident that this duck wasn't made fresh. Parts of it were so tough and dry it was equivalent to jerky. If you like your duck DAYS OLD, I repeat.... DAYS OLD and DRY, get it from here. For me, I will never return again.

Sweet Crisp Duck - This is how they dry one of their vegetables. No wonder it tastes so good.
