For many years I knew I wanted a breast aug, but I was always too nervous to follow though with the procedure- until I had my consultation with Dr. Mohebali. Now, I'm 2 months post surgery and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. The entire office showed such genuine concern it was impossible to feel anything but at ease. From the consultation to post surgery check ups, it was like frequenting a 5 star resort. Here's why: - beautiful and clean office in Corte Madera with walls adorned with endless accolades - the sincere care from everyone in the office - plush robes upon arrival (at every appt) - comfy bed with warm air blown under your blanket (day of surgery) - personal caretaker to help you awaken post surgery - wheelchair assistance out to the car - unlimited hospitality to meet any discomfort The only difficulty was not having a margarita at my 5 star resort :) However, I did leave with large perky breasts that look and feel way better than I could have ever imagined. Dr. Mohebali sat me down in my consultation and went over all my options including the pros and cons. All of my concerns were put at ease with his expertise regarding the procedure, products, and the industry- in addition to his years of experience and practice. I wasn't exactly looking forward to the initial exam, where I envisioned a doctor pointing out all my flaws while stating they could make me look way better than I look now. Dr. Mohebali treated me with such respect, he was professional and warm, just incredible bedside manner. Ultimately, we decided to go with high profile silicon implants: 350cc and 375cc due to the size variation of my breasts. I opted for under the muscle and a below the breast inscision. I was a 34B and this size was expected to bump me up to a full C/low D depending on the brand of the bra. On the day of my surgery I met with the nurse and anesthesiologist to cover the details of the procedure and what to expect when I wake up. I was then examined one final time where Dr. Mohebali marked my chest and breasts to find my natural mammary fold, so he could make my breasts match given my unequal size. I was absolutely impressed with the level of detail he put into the prep work. Precision and care is what you want from this procedure! After about a week, I was up and moving around effortlessly. 5 weeks in I was able to resume all daily activities including working out. 6 weeks in I got sized (I am a D according to Victoria's Secret). My breasts are now matched in size, squishy and starting to drop. I can't believe how great they look, I seriously have a problem showing people because they look and feel so great!! And- my incision is incredibly small! I am so fortunate to have chosen Dr. Mohebali as my doctor for my procedure. I can confidently say that my breasts are perfect, the numerous people that have seen them are disbelieving they are not home grown and it's only been 2 months post surgery. A little piece of advice I took from my friend is to go about 20% bigger than you want because the implants will settle in and you will loose some of the mass that the sizer bra doesn't allocate for. I thought 325cc looked great when I tried on the sizer bra, but I am SO glad I went with the 375cc. I am still able to hide them really well with a sports bra or tank top under my blouses for work. I was half way through chemo when I first met him and his fantastic staff. I was in a very scared place in my life, having cancer at age 34 and now facing a double mastectomy with reconstruction. This is my first review I have done and I feel it is the the right one to make as my first one! Dr. Mohebali is just the best. I wouldn't trust my face to anyone else. I must be honest- he sure looks young and one might think, is he old enough to even inject injectables; however, I can assure you he has the touch. I take really good care of my skin but noticed that I still wanted a little more "help". I went to Dr. Mohebali on the recommendation of a friend who has been using Botox for a while and I never regret that decision. I explained what I was looking for and together we decided on my first Botox treatment ever! Dr. Mohebali is really knowledgably and took his time in explaining options and expected results. I was initially told by a breast surgeon that I was not a candidate for reconstruction surgery. Thank the Lord for Dr. Mohebali! I not only found a new breast surgeon to perform my preventative double mastectomy, but I also met Dr. Mohebali, who reassured me that Breast Surgeon #1 was a knucklehead and that I was, indeed a perfect candidate for reconstruction. None of these reviews mention the fact the he has a wicked sense of humor, which was important to me as I went through my transformation. He's also a taskmaster when it comes to following the rules for self care after surgery (which is a good thing) and he's a great listener. His staff is professional, plus they're a lot of fun. After five years since a lumpectomy removed 4cm of tissue from my right breast, the non symmetrical condition of my breasts was a nightmare finding a comfortable bra. I had gone to a Plastic Surgeon at the time of my dx of breast cancer locally. He was a nightmare and initially told me nothing he could do would look good as I had radiation 25 years ago for ovarian cancer. After his disgraceful and insulting consultation, I went ahead with the lumpectomy and lived with the changes for years. I have wanted breast reduction surgery since I was a teenager. I'm 29 now and so glad I found Dr. Mohebali. He prepared a report for my insurance and I was so happy to learn I was approved.
