I always like to try new restaurants by my job and today I tried Khin's. What drew me in besides my love of sushi was the bright and colorful building. I had passed by it a few times on my afternoon walks, and knew I wanted to check them out eventually. It was empty when I went inside which was great because I was immediately able to place my order and grab a seat. I opted for a spicy tuna roll, and the price point is excellent. It came out shortly after and had 9 rolls which is more than I expected. It was very good, although I wouldn't say it was spicy. I will definitely be back!

Visited DC with some friends and family, and while sightseeing, we stumbled into this cozy sushi spot. The food was fresh, the service was quick and friendly, and the view made the experience even better. Definitely hit the spot, a perfect break during a day of exploring the city.

Pretty decent sushi for the price! A great place to try if you're by the Waterfront! With near out door seating you can enjoy the nice fall vibes. If it gets cold they have an indoor upstairs seating

Already dug into this Tempura Shrimp Poke Bowl, but it was really great food, great service, clean restaurant, and a nice view of Georgetown. I would 100% go back, and I'm telling my friends about this place.

Salmon & Avocado Roll and Spicy Roll Tuna. No flavor in either of them and the fish was not fresh.

Huge miss. Their normal prices for basic rolls are 9.50 which is high even for DC. The fish wasn't fresh, the portion of fish per roll was low, and the spicy tuna roll lacked a lot of flavor. The rice didn't seem the be seasoned at all as sushi rice should be. The service was quick but the rolls were pretty sloppily done. Overall super disappointed and I can see why there was no one there. I didn't feel like I could eat in the space because the staff was so unwelcoming. Go next door for a quick bite instead or go to bluefin one street over for good quality and a lower price point.

I love Khin sushi! My go to sushi spot in Georgetown, the staff is so sweet and they make the sushi so fast. The fish is great quality and despite being in Georgetown, I find it fairly priced. The spot is tucked away in the canals of Georgetown but definitely worth walking to. They have plenty of seating upstairs.

Me and my friend got the sushi burrito and It was so unbelievably good, but a little smaller than expected. My friend also got the miso soup and it was okay. The upstairs sitting area they have is nice and secluded. Service was speedy. Overall would recommend.

Quick service, decent food for the price but small quantity. Water cups were made of styrofoam and was warm. Wish they would opt for a recycle-able material.

this place is a downgrade from bandoola. i got the poké and was disappointed by the lack of customization and variety of toppings. it wasnt bad tasting but for $15 it was not worth. go for poki dc.

Very fresh ; small but good for a quick lunch bite We had the shrimp tempura roll and a poke bowl. Good value.

    two trays of sushi

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!!! Lovely people who work here, AMAZING sushi for a great price (7$ deals for a good size basic roll), quick service and my top spot for sushi or a casual lunch in georgetown. Top quality sushi meat. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Well Joe's Seafood checks every box and some others I didn't mention. The entire staff is professional, in a warm welcoming way. They ensure that your experience is a delightful one, filled with superb pampering service. And then there's the food !!! This is when I was totally floored... for starters the assorted bread basket for the table is absolutely delicious ( I literally had to force myself to stop alternating between the muffins and mini biscuits ) Since I was eating light today I ordered the seafood salad ( chilled lobster & shrimp on top ) and the salad was so fresh and had that crisp salad crunch that mesmerized my taste buds with every bite !!! DC hands down is one of the top restaurant city's in the country and Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is a big reason I can make that statement with absolute confidence !!!

They could have fit in a thimble. The stone crabs were tasteless. The best was the coleslaw. It took forever to get a glass of wine and ice tea. I will not recommned it to anyone. Ambiance was OK, the place was packed. People were very casual, which surprised me for such an expensive restaurant.

We were seated immediately and the dining room is adequate. Sufficiently decorated to make it okay. It is furnished for maximum occupancy which is fine. Think casual place, almost bar with food, not fancy at all. I do not mean for this to be a negative comment. Hank's presents itself as more of a beachside joint, not a high end seafood restaurant. Each of these sorts of restaurants has a place in the spectrum. Our waiter - Keith or Kevin - I'm so sorry but I cannot remember his name - was GREAT! Funny, good at his job, great personality and helpful. He started out with a corny, but cute, joke and he kept getting better all night. The manager too was quite good, professional and friendly. What a great staff! The food is good. I could talk about the lobster bisque (a bit on the strong side) or the flounder (a bit on the salty side). But, honestly, the food was good and I enjoyed it a lot. I did not complain about any of it nor do I think a complaint was necessary. So, as I said before, it had been years since I had last eaten at Hank's. But it won't be that long anymore. I recommend Hank's for a casual seafood meal.

I sat at the bar to access happy hour (bar-only, but oysters are available everywhere). Ordered a dozen oysters, bacon-topped deviled eggs, Old Bay fries, a salmon slider, and a tequila pineapple drink. The standout for me was the salmon slider-- the sauce was so good I wish I ordered more. Great vibe for a casual happy hour. I'd definitely come back, especially for the $1 oysters.

Its menu is seafood focused but there really is something for everyone. I've visited for brunch and HHs and enjoyed each visit. Personal favorites: The coal roasted oysters, miso butter in particular, are fantastic. I literally dream about them LOL. The grilled calamari is smoky yet vinegary and vibrant. The beet and burrata salad has a great texture as a compliment to the grilled dishes. For brunch, I have enjoyed the Chesapeake Benedict and the mushroom frittata. Overall, the seafood is so fresh and high quality. Portions are great for sharing yet not super sized and it is so delicious that you won't bring anything home. If you are budget conscious and enjoy oysters, the half price raw oysters plus a few appetizers will be a great way to enjoy Cordelia Fishbar. Cocktails: a creative menu and beautiful glassware. The mocktail menu is not as large as I hoped but the flavor offerings are not too sugary. Highly recommend adding this to your brunch and HH spots and enjoy!
