I don't understand why the drinks menu isn't automatically handed out with the food menu. They had some beer taps, but as a beer person I can say the Hefeweizen was definitely off. Old, flat, darker in color than normal. The food was just ok, not bad, but nothing to ever come back for, especially at $20 for a couple of pieces of chicken and a side of rice. Service was also just ok. So quiet that it was hard for me to understand what was being said to me. No facial expressions, no words that would make us feel welcome and wanted there as guests. The C.T.M. is a dish of boneless chicken simmered in a creamy tomato gravy with a succulent flavor of fenugreek. Fenugreek?! I'm told to take a scoop of the Basmati Rice and put it on the side. So far, easy peasy! I'm a pro at Indian cuisine! Now, dip the Garlic Naan in your sauce, grab a piece of chicken and dig in. What in the sweet mother load did I just experience?! After checking their facebook I found that they do a dinner buffet on Thursdays and figured it'd be the best way to try out multiple dishes. From the moment I walked in I was met with the kindest smiles and felt like I was being treated like family. Sometimes in a small setting, I can get a little uncomfortable but here I could feel so much love and warmth that it felt like I was sitting at a big family dinner. And what a dinner it was, not only was it the comforting meal I was looking for but every dish I tried was better then the next.
