Gustavo was able to troubleshoot our issue and find the actual problem instead of just guessing like the other companies had (one of which said we just needed to replace the entire ac unit and ductwork). When Khoolex first got to our house I was hot and sweating with a four month old baby in only a diaper, when he left I had to cover up my baby for his nap and put socks on. Overall an excellent experience. First of all, when I called the office to book the appointment, Adrianna was friendly and courteous, from booking the appointment, and confirming the appointment the next morning, to calling me 30 minutes with a heads up prior to arrival, to invoice, everything was prompt with follow through. Then Gustavo came to diagnose my issue with the AC where the inside coil was frozen. He took me through each step as he tested the inside and outside system making sure I understood the process until he found the reason for the failure being the outside contactor stuck in a ON position. The repair was quick and he even offered many helpful advice along the way. I am very impressed by his professionalism, experience and skillset. This is a complete opposite to the typical AC companies who comes and say "Oh your AC is older than ten years old, it's out of warranty and here is a quote for a new system". A tech from another AC company told me that my unit needed to be replaced to the tune of $3K plus. Also told me it needed Freon, which might extend it's life. He said he could do that for $400. Oh, and if I made the decision in the next hour he said he'd apply the service charge to the new unit... I didn't feel like I could trust him at all. Fortunately, I called called Khoolex based on the great reviews here on Yelp. Gustavo showed up in 2 hours. He found that the Freon was fine and said the system was actually in pretty good shape. He also found that a switch had been turned off in the outside unit. (I wonder who did that?) The unit did need a couple of capacitors, which Gustavo replaced on the spot. AC is working and we are cool customers. Very happy with Khoolex and Gustavo, and I recommend you give them a call! read more

I can't recommend Khoolex Air Conditioning enough. I am having a new flat roof installed and was told last minute by the roofer that they can't remove the 2 AC units correctly. I sent out a quote request for an HVAC explaining that I would need to AC's connected and reconnected when the roof was finished. Gustavo from Khoolex reached out within 10 minutes and came out for an estimate about 2 hours later. The roofers indicated they would need only 4 hours to reseal the ac area so Gustavo told me he would disconnect in morning and come back at lunch. Khoolex was on time and at my house at 830 to disconnect both units so roofers could start the job. The time on the roof job extended tremendously but Gustavo and Gonzalo were patient with them and adjusted their work schedule. They came back 4 hours later than 8 hours later to make sure I had at least one ac unit on that night for my dogs and pregnant girlfriend to be comfortable. They then came back the next day around lunch and worked in the 100 degree heat to get the 2nd one back online. The 1 day job turned into a 2 day job for them but they honored their pricing which I truly appreciated. I can't recommend Gustavo and Gonzalo enough at Khoolex. They adjusted their schedule for a rush job, priced the job fair, and worked extremely hard. I will be calling them for all of my future AC/HVAC unit needs!! read more

I read the reviews and I was worried they were fake because they were so awesome. I had a really bad experience with another HVAC and I did my homework this time and landed on Khoolex. Gustavo arrived on Monday around 4PM and shared that I needed a new coil and gave me two options to fix the issue. I decided to replace the A/C unit and Gustavo went to work immediately. By the time he left here on Monday he ordered the unit AND scheduled the crane operator for Wednesday at 7AM! I was shocked we would only be without A/C for one full day. Gustavo arrived Wednesday at 6:30 AM and the crane was here at 7AM. Gustavo left at 8:30 AM and my new unit was blowing cold air. There are so many bad HVAC companies out there.
