I have absolutely awesome experience with Khrom Dermatology, my Mom had skin cancer and in this office only was done the procedure (including biopsy during the procedure). Very knowledgeable and friendly doctor, Natallia Fiadorchanka was very helpful and procedure was done amazing, absolutely no painful. Week after I bring my Mom for follow up and her scars is less seemly, looks like it's will disappear later. She had a spot between her eyes and it's not easy to remove skin area. We was very worried about. But it's done perfectly!!! We had all the recommendations and samples of the products to use on the skin to prevent scars. High recommend!!! I saw Dr Kazlouskaya for a thumb nail infection and she is quite good. 3 stars because after I paid my $250 for the visit she told me she only had 15 minutes allocated per patient. Oh and I had to wait 3 hrs to get in. For visit 2, I called ahead to make sure she was running on time. They said yes and yet I'm sitting here for 45 minutes and still not taken.... Disappointing experience so far. I've been trying to get a receipt for one of the procedures I paid for, as requested by FSA. The information I asked for was very basic--yet I was told the system automatically generates receipts and there's no way to modify them to include what's needed. Additionally, the front desk staff--Stephanie and Izabella--have been noticeably unfriendly and unhelpful. 2 years later, I came in for a follow-up procedure. First thing I noticed is how modern the technology is... the BIG iPads, using an app to show client information and history, the laser machines... very very professional. Also, the staff was very friendly, and offered me coffee/tea/water... The procedure itself was done by Dr. Khrom - which, took only a few minutes. I would not recommend this office because of the substandard care I received there. I saw Anna, the PA. I thought my eyeglasses made dents on my nose, turns out she suspected skin cancer and did a biopsy. It's good that I live with someone who has been through a lot of skin biopsies, because the after-care instructions were to apply Vaseline, keep the bandage on for a few days. Ten days later the wound is still not healed over, which means it still needs Vaseline and a bandage or it will dry out. Nothing about staying out of the sun, or gently washing it in the shower. On my return for biopsy results, I arrive on time and the smell of perfume and hand sanitizer in the wait room are enough to give me a headache, so I step outside (just down a short flight), told to come back in 15 minutes, unless she called to say come sooner. Well, I did that twice, and ended up waiting 45 minutes while the entire waiting room was taken in first. For an appointment that didn't last five minutes and could have more efficiently done by phone. Worse, Anna was just this side of disinterested; she explained I'd need Mohs surgery, to plan to be there 4 hours, I'd have a big bandage. I came home and Googled the type of basal cell carcinoma it is (the lab report told me). It is serious, a tumor can be invasive, the photo showed a disfigured nose. This is beyond distressing, the fear of being disfigured on top of aging changes. She couldn't be bothered explaining all this, making sure I understood, providing any reassurance. I had called a dermatologist I'd seen years ago but the wait was too long so I came to Dr. Khrom. I called again, and with a lab report, I have an appointment in 3 weeks. I would never allow Dr. Khrom to do the surgery; I haven't met her, but based on the way her practice is run, I wouldn't trust her. I complained about the wait, and the snotty receptionist informed me that's the way it is in a good practice. Too bad she isn't running one to justify the wait and cold treatment. Do yourself a favor and find a better dermatologist. read more

This review is for Khrom Aesthetics. I usually go to Khrom Dermatology for acne treatment and they recommended me to go to Khrom Aesthetics for deep pore cleaning (aka acne facial). I went here for facials and my skin did look clear for a week or so and then I would get new "stuff" in areas where I usually wouldn't have anything. So, I stopped going. After a while, I came back for acne scar removal. I was recommended to start with chemical peels to remove light scarring and to reduce breakouts. They told me to go online to learn more about it and refused to tell me more. So I made an appointment with Yelena (who I usually work with) for a chemical peel, but upon arrival, Maria told me that she isn't available and that she will do it for me. It would nice if they gave me a call in advance to see if I'd still want to come. Before we started, I explained that I haven't been able to do research on chemical peels because there were many types and I couldn't find information about the one she was going to do on me. Right after being given the chemical peel, she gave me some kind of cream to put on daily and told me that she would call me a few times to check to see how I was doing and to remind me what to do and what not to do. She never called... I had to call her. After 7 days, all the skin peeled off and I was left with burned marks on my skin with a piece of skin missing which was obviously from the chemical peel. When I told them about it, I was told I had to go to their office so they can have a look at it. At first, they said it was from me touching my face, then they said it was I had it before I came here, and after trying to reason with her some more, she finally said it was from the chemical peel. She told me that the chemical peel is putting acid on my skin and can do a lot of harm... which ofcourse wasn't what she told me before the peel. Right before we did the peel, she said I had a very light skin tone and assured me that it wouldn't cause any dark pigmentation. Would I recommend coming here for anything? The chemical peel which was suppose to reduce breakouts and improve acne scarring, actually created more scarring, burned marks, and made my acne worse. The staff there are liars, unprofessional, and don't care about what happens to your skin. They're just going to use you as a guinny pig and if anything bad happens, they will recommend more treatments which you have to pay out of your own pocket. Update 12/18: Over 2 months after I had the procedure done and the burn marks are still there. It looks like I will have 2 burn marks the size of dime permanently on my cheeks. I highly recommend you do your own research of your aesthetician and do not pay attention to the "before and after" pictures that you get from them. Also, make sure the person you're going to tells you the risks of the procedure. In my case, neither Maria NOR Yelena told me that I could get PERMANENT burn marks on my skin. They only kept talking about the benefits. When I got burn marks, they blamed it on me. This is highly unethical. read more

The Botox wears off (cheap watered down Botox god knows) I've been getting Botox for years so I'm well versed in how long my Botox results should last. This place nothing more than a month. Besides that they try to sell you their overpriced skin care creams which you can get cheaper anywhere else literally anywhere else. They love to leave you waiting for over two hours to be seen in order to mentally wear you down so by the time they get to you you're basically agreeing to whatever bull shit suggestions they have for u... I get it it's a business blah blah but god damn don't make it so blatant and at the very least inject quality filler and Botox god damn. And no they did not open the Botox and or filler used in my presence they wheeled in already pre filled syringes perhaps that should've been a red flag. I didn't ask for recommendations and indicated in their forms that I was not interested in anything else. There was a LOT of "you would also benefit from x", "it is time for you to start y", "have you thought about getting z" etc. RUDE. So instead of leaving excited about the results from the treatment I just got, I left feeling depressed. You can really mess with someone's mood and self esteem when a so called "professional" straight up says you need fillers and that their laser can remove your freckles. The front desk receptionist and aesthetician are unconscionable. I live in Manhattan and phoned this office to confirm that they use a Thermismooth250 which is the latest model for the face. The woman at the desk said she would check returned to the phone and said yes we have it. I traveled all the way to Brooklyn walked into the treatment room and found an old model that was the ThermiRF an old inferior machine. I walked out and told them that they were liars and not reputable. I would not recommend old machines - the updated Thermismooth 250 is great. The old machine is a waster of hard earned money. To begin, I highly recommended seeing Dr Natalia Fiadorchanka, she is the most thorough and thought through doctor I have yet to come across. I was treating a few warts at my first initial dermatology office for about a year and saw no results. My wart at this point was as big as a coin. I went to dr khrom 5 times I never met dr khrom it's always the PHysician assistants that attend to me. If I'm paying for a dr why am I not seeing a dr? Then I caught onto their game.. they see you and then they always at every visit suggested me that laser will be good to treat you at their khrom Asthetic Dept it is downstairs in same building which is 150$ consultation and then thousands of dollars to be treated . They said the only way to get rid of my sons pimples was around 5,000$ laser course of treatments such bull crap guess what it was freakin puberty!! His pimples went away by itself. Then I asked her to remove my skin tags she said it's 300$ I said why? My friend has same insurance as me and another doctor removed the skin tags for FREE! I went to a different dermatologist in brooklyn on Friday and he removed my skin tags on my neck for FREE! The DR did NOT try to sell me any creams or any laser or aesthetics! Very happy I found Khrom Dermatology. Have been to the office several times. Saw Dr. Feodarchanka first time, she diagnosed my rash quickly, treated it, was gone in several days! Also recommended how to take care of my skin to prevent aging. Saw Dr. Khrom for a cosmetic consultation later on. She is very knowledgeable and provided in depth information about each service they offer. Ended up getting fillers and toxins injected. I do not recommend coming here. First, they charge $150 for a consultation, even when the consultation is not useful. They take you through rounds of photos before you even see a dermatologist who will talk to you. I had two very specific concerns that I made clear on the phone with the receptionists. I asked for a very specific type of laser treatment and was assured that it could be done. I was, in fact, told that both things I was looking for were likely to be taken care of in my first visit. Instead, I was charged for the consultation and nothing else was accomplished. Second, I was booked for a morning appointment because I had an afternoon flight. 30min before my appointment, I received a call that they had to move it. "Your biopsy has some atypical cells so its better to remove it. Don't worry though it's only will be 3 cm deep.(!)" After I said that I want to talk to the doctor about it, she put me on hold, then said: Ok, Dr called pathologist and he said it can wait, you just have to watch it." Are you serious? I called there about one particular procedure I was interested in. The consult was free, so I was game. What I was interested in was discussed briefly. Then the consult which was done by an aesthetics person, not a medical 'being' at all, turned the tables on me and began to talk about what other things they could do for my face. When I was leaving she gave me a packet of literature that was filled with way to much information that I really began to get confused and somewhat frustrated by it all. If they would have addressed the concern I came in for, I probably would have committed myself to that procedure, but the fact that they quickly moved along to 'what else they could do for me' was kind of a turn off. read more

If you care about your health, do NOT go. All that I needed was an annual check up. How can that go wrong? Lesson learned, READ reviews before picking a doctor to go to. First, front desc is not welcoming. Do not even dream about a welcoming smile or nice, happy face. Well, your majesty, here the advice for you- learn some customer service skills. Shimmery eye shadow is cool, but add some shimmer to your personality as well. Next, they take your picture and ask you to sign something on the monitor. What am I signing exactly? Is it for your file to verify my identity? What exactly am I singing without even looking at???? HIPPA? Well then I should be giving a copy. And if that is something else, well, then how can it be valid if I had no knowledge what that mystery paper/document was. Was it a document? Unknown will remain unknown. Ok, moving on. I was taken to a room. A medical assistant came. My conversation with her medical assistant was LITERALLY 5 seconds. She asked what I want. I asked for a full body exam (annual check). No questions about my medical history, nothing. Ok, naive me thinking that maybe a doctor will be asking me questions pertaining to my skin. WRONG. Later I learned that no questions will be asked. Anyway, I changed and waited. Then the doctor or her assistant came. I do not know because a person did not introduce herself. So, who knows who was doing (or should I say NOT doing) my "annual check". She asked if I want her to look at anything specific. Hmm, well yeah, A FULL BODY SKIN CHECK. Hello???? She GLANCED at my skin for 3 seconds and said: "You look fine." No use of derma-light, nothing with magnifying lens. NOTHING. JUST GLANCED. Glanced from some distance. Not even a close look. Glanced. How about look at my arms, legs, face, neck, scalp? I have moles there, would be nice to have them checked. That is why I came. You know how you glance at people when you are walking on the street? That is exactly what I got. Are you serious???!! I can glance at myself in the mirror at home, I do not need to take a trip to a medical office so that you to glance at me. This is NOT a full body skin exam. My total time of visit was maybe 30-40 seconds. Thank you, no thank you. Skin is a VERY IMPORTANT part of our body. And as we know, if some conditions are not caught early, it can lead to a very devastating consequences. on top of that they WILL REFUSE to give you a copy of your biopsy results. So, basically your right to your results will be simply ignored at this office. Oh, and if there is anything abnormal, they WILL NOT call you to let you know that you need a follow up. Full body skin check is NOT looking at one mole that I showed you. It means looking at FULL/ALL skin. I would assume a doctor knows that?????? Go to someone who will spend more than 30 seconds with you and actually DO a normal exam! read more

Had a terrible experience at this office. I scheduled my appointment one month ahead, provided my insurance info. On the day of appointment receptionist said that the doctor is not able to see me as they can't verify my eligibility on Saturday. They had a whole month to verify my eligibility but they apparently forgot. On the day of appointment, they lied that I provided another provider's name and what's not... and that they can't contact my insurance provider on Saturday, etc. I immediately left that place since I can't deal with this unprofessionalism when it comes to my health issues. read more
