I recently moved to the area, and I'm so grateful that I discovered her practice! Dr. Holder recommended Fraxel to treat some of the issues I had been experiencing. I have a fairly low pain tolerance, and she ensured I would be comfortable during the procedure (I've already been back for the second of three treatments...so she kept her promise!) I'm not only thrilled with the results of my treatments but also thrilled to be a part of her practice. Her energy and enthusiasm for her work, deep knowledge, and commitment to her patients are all remarkable. She also spent an incredible amount of time getting to know me before she said a word about my skin concerns. Here's what I've experienced at this practice and why I recommend it so wholeheartedly: - I first came to Dr. Holder's practice in 2023, wanting to try botox for the first time. It was a new experience, and Dr. Holder listened carefully to understand my expectations and then patiently talked me through everything that I should expect. The way she directs her team before, during, and after procedures instills so much confidence, especially for first time patients. - At the beginning of this year, hormones were wreaking havoc on my skin and giving me with terrible acne and rosacea. Fed up, I sent Dr. Holder's office an email, and they agreed to see me right away. They were so responsive and reassuring. Also, I really appreciate that Dr. Holder doesn't try to sell a custom line of products -- she just thoughtfully directs you to a routine using good old fashioned French pharmacy products and prescriptions when needed. - I've seen Dr. Holder for peels and laser treatments, and I'm just so grateful for how thorough and detail-oriented she is in each of these procedures. She takes prep and after care very seriously. She looks closely at the treatment areas, takes her time, and talks through the treatment so that there are no surprises or unexpected discomfort. Truly amazing bedside manner that instills so much confidence. - Dr. Holder's team is just as amazing as she is. All of the staff are communicative, warm, and hospitable. I was told they didn't know because there is still 5 (!!) people in front of me. I asked them what was the purpose of making an appointment if it's first come first serve. Not having a better answer, the receptionist said - 'you know you always have to wait at doctors' office. Yes. I know that. I do expect to wait 10-20 minutes. But not hours at time. That is WHY we make an appointment weeks in advance. So i left without being seen by the doctor! Other than those 5 patients inside, there were 4 more patients standing in line outside. People arrange their days around appointments. I feel like their poor time management is extremely insensible towards their patients' time and needs.

My son was in for simple mild acne. We were not seen by medical doctors- but by a physicians assistant- then I was charged as if it was seen by a full MD! Pure fraud. In fact, the PA made me take a nail clipping on my own- he refused. That should have been my red flag. As I am writing this, I am on the phone dealing with harassing bills the Derm Specilsists keep sending me . Between my copay and the insurance coverage, we have paid them over $500. And they still want more for services with misidentified providers. Over $230 bill more for a negative from the lab and a trial tube of Tretonoin. Do not use them for your medical needs. Go to a proper doctor at a hospital. I made the mistake of thinking this minor issue could be dealt with locally and at a new place with ease. What a dupe.
