Most people come here for happy hour or dinner, but don't miss out on their breakfast menu! It's truly a hidden gem as a breakfast spot. I was shocked to see a nearly empty restaurant at 11am on a Sunday. Interesting menu and excellent execution. The loco moco with the omurice was amazing! The egg was so fluffy and soft, and the meat had lots of flavor. Their matcha pancakes were also worth a try - soft and light with a good matcha flavor. I loved my lengua nachos. It didn't feel quite like breakfast food to me, nonetheless it's delicious and I killed it. The ambiance was modern, hip with a tall ceiling so it felt very spacious inside. The service was attentive and friendly. Best of all, for the quality of food and service that we received, we thought the price was reasonable. Can't wait to go back for another breakfast to try their other items!

When you walk in, the restaurant, bar area, and staff are all very welcoming. Service was good, though the food felt just ok during my visit. I ordered the taco nasu and the milk cereal panna cotta, and was also able to try the braised pork kuakini benedict (pictured) and the chili-ki-les (not pictured). The benedict and tacos were a bit one-noted for me, but the chili-ki-les stood out, as did the milk cereal panna cotta. Overall, it wasn't a bad place to eat, portions are smaller, but I am interested in trying the dinner menu as well :-)

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my cousins. We arrived early enough to take advantage of the happy hour specials. When you enter, there is a bar on the left and a large dining space in the middle. We sat in the back area in a booth-type seat. Our server was friendly and helpful with ordering, since it was our first time eating here. She gave some recommendations on the food and drinks. She didn't know all the drinks, so she had to check with the bar. Some of the food we ordered was: salt and vinegar wings, beef and bacon patties, ahi stack, tofu poke, enoki scallop and corn dashi, and the pork belly kakuni. Everything was delicious! My favorites of the night were the pork belly and the enoki scallop. The meal ended with a sparkling ice cream dessert! The presentation was beautiful in the golden crane ice cream holder and lit up with sparklers! Happy Eating!

Yummmm!! Definitely a must try kind of place!!! This was my first time here upon a recommendation from a friend. I loved everything about the Ki ... the service, the vibe, the atmosphere, the food and more! The service was excellent!!! The bartender was great she answered all our questions and made excellent recommendations on drinks and food! I enjoyed the Enoki mushroom scallops, the bone marrow, and Ahi pizza. They are definitely must try! I can't remember the name of my drinks but they were so good!!! The restaurant is clean, the bathroom was clean --just that alone to me says a lot about a place!! You have to try the Ki Club! I suggest catch an Uber, Lyft or ride so you can enjoy all the different drinks and Sake!! And don't have to worry about parking! I definitely will be back and hope to see you there too!!

Last month happy hour. Today returned for brunch. Brunch is now my favorite meal of the day at the Ki Club ! Asian fusion at its finest. Let's start with the service... always top notch! The three times I have been her have received consistently friendy and efficient service. Take excellent care of Andrew and his team...Rachel, Kayla, John. Thank you for taking excellent care of us. And live the recommendations provided. And what to order? For brunch my two favorites would be the locomoco served with yuzu demiglacé and the chilequiles. Both memorable. My brunching partners raved about their tacos. Thank you for the beautiful birthday desserts also. Great place to celebrate an ocassion..! Parking can get a little challenging tho the Ki Club does have two parking lots... one in the front and one in the back (paid lot in back). Do yourself a favor and find a space!

Primer rib and Garlic mashed potato - one of the specials of the night

We stopped by Ki Club for dinner right before catching Fluffy the Comedian at Blaisdell Arena. Since I'd seen so many Instagram videos about this spot, it made our shortlist of nearby restaurants to try -- and I'm glad we did. The food was solid overall. Our server was great at walking us through the specials, so we went with the prime rib and mashed potatoes, which hit the spot. The fries and chicken wings were tasty, though I wasn't a fan of the fried unagi balls or the poke tower with shrimp crackers. The highlight of the night was definitely dessert -- a matcha creation paired with ice cream that was both delicious and memorable. To top it off, the staff went above and beyond: when they found out we were celebrating, our server surprised us with sparklers, adding such a fun and festive touch. I would definitely come here again to try their brunch menu. This place turns into a nightclub at night and would also be giving the night life try again with my friends!

From pilates classes to comedy, brunch, dinner, club night, private events, you name it - they do it all. But you don't want to miss out on their Wednesday Fish+Steak night from 4p-7p for only $25! Their happy hour menu is also available Wednesday-Sunday from 4p-6p. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the food was. The pastas were on the smaller portion size, but we grabbed a whole bunch of apps to supplement as well. I'm still dreaming about the lobster linguini and their pasta of the day (kimchee carbonara). That matcha bread pudding is comforting alongside that strawberry semifreddo which was nice. I can't believe this place can produce such great tasting food! As for the service, there were 2 guys and 1 girl that floated the entire room. It did not seem as if they had sections or designated areas. Though each were very friendly, and kept up with the witty banter that we were having. Though the music is on the louder side, I was still able to have a conversation with my party, without feeling like I had to yell. I also saw quite a bit of families on this night with their children as well. The place can definitely accommodating large parties or if you wanted to just grab a seat at the bar, that's open too. Well done again on the use of this space, with transforming it into a different type of venue of different meal periods and audiences.

Service was excellent. Our waitress was quick to take our order and food was quick to come out. The restaurant was pretty empty when we went. There's booth and table seating. Also a bar area. Turns into a night club at night. The restaurant is very clean and trendy. Good place for a meal with friends. The food was yummy. The steak and octopus are excellent choices. The portions sizes are shareable. The waitress said the portions sizes are on the smaller side...I thought it was ok. I didn't think it was that small.

a brunch review - We had an incredible brunch experience! The menu offered a fun variety, and we tried the bibimbap, loco moco, and pork Benedict. Each dish was flavorful and hearty, with great balance and presentation. The bibimbap stood out with its vibrant flavors and freshness, while the loco moco was rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. The pork Benedict was a delicious twist on the classic, with tender pork and a sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The drinks were phenomenal--creative, refreshing, and mixed with just the right amount of alcohol to complement the meal without being overpowering. Service was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth revisiting for both the food and the drinks!

Interesting cuisine...Peruvian Japanese food. Food was good but service was slow and they were out of some of the dishes we wanted like the Ahi Pizza and Lobster Linguine. However, I did enjoy our meal. The Samoan crab was divine and the cauliflower salad was light and refreshing. The Ahi Nigiri was melt-your-mouth goodness. I don't eat meat so I did not partake of the pork dish and karaage but my friends raved about them. The ambience was great, it was a perfect way to celebrate my dear sister's birthday. Toward the end, though, we were rushed which cost stars. The remaining food items and our 3rd (or was it 4th LOL) round of drinks (BTW their mixed drinks were on-point!) took a long time to come out as they were turning over the restaurant into their club. So we finished our drinks and the last of our meal standing up. I went to the bar for some change but they did not have any available because they were in the middle of changing over into the club. We were asked to leave and stand in line to re-enter in the club line. As dinner patrons I felt we should have been able to remain inside but what do I know. I haven't been clubbing in a long time. Will I be back? Yes, the reviews for brunch and lunch have piqued my interest!

Cheers!

Cool vibe for Happy Hour! They even do fun brunch with mimosas. From Kalakaua Ave., there's free parking in the front lot. There's a paid parking lot in the back with a short walk way to the main entrance. If you go for Happy Hour, be sure to have their chicken wings with yuzu dipping sauce! The chicken is fried up perfectly and the sauce, they really need to bottle it and sell it....So incredible! Their tofu salad with Ho Farms tomato is also very tasty. From their brunch menu, I had the salmon Benedict. Both eggs were poached perfectly. It had generous portion of salmon and served over poi English muffins. The potato hash was nice and crispy! Everyone else at our table ordered the loco moco which they all said was very good. Both times dining in, we had wonderful customer service. Kayla is a phenomenal Server and I would totally come back on a day that she is working :)

I've noticed Ki Club on Facebook. A friend of mine visits often, and she invited us to celebrate late Christmas. We went, and wow... The entrance was amazing, with friendly staff. The place is lovely but a bit chilly. I absolutely loved the drink I had, and the bone marrow was fantastic! The octopus was amazing, though I wish there had been more of it than the veggies. We loved their food so much that we brought our other friends to try it too.

This was my first time at Ki Club and I wasn't sure how the ambiance would be for a family since it becomes a club later in the evening. We came with our two kids and found the ambiance nice and welcoming. The waitress was super nice and helped guide us. Food: everything was really good. As a vegetarian my concern is always what I can eat but I got the house salad, tofu katsu, ajitama fried rice, and two desserts. Everything was really well seasoned and ono, very filling. The side of garlic mashed potatoes were good but could have used some more seasoning. Dessert was delicious and a nice end to the meal. My only complaint is the parking lot is small (Hawaii problems so it's par for the course) we got there early and self parked but still needed to pay the valet.

They have Salsa on Thursday nights so I walked from my hotel to this place which ended about 15-17 minutes which is not that bad. I had to walk through a sketchy area while following my navigation on my phone. When I left the place, I walked through the Ala Moana Center which I felt safer. $15 cover charge which includes a ticket for a free drink which I used to get a bottle water. Small bottle of water, but still nice. I got there during the middle of the lesson in which I stood back and just watch. It was the super basic steps in which I already know so I didn't want to partake, plus I saw that there was not an uneven number of dudes so there's no need for me to jump in. Haha... I made it a goal for that night that if I danced 5xs then I will be happy to leave as I was not feeling the best. I did dance 5xs, and then I left. I'm glad that I got to salsa danced in Hawaii, but it's definitely not as fun as salsa dancing back home in California. Lol.. Not much people there. Mostly couples who are complete newbs. Lol also the floor is pretty sticky, which is kinda gross. The bathrooms are clean and nice though!

It was a Friday night and we got there at 10pm and although it wasn't full of people, we absolutely LOVED it! The VIP table was spacious and we had a stripper pole to dance with and it was super fun! We got Tito's vodka and it came with 3 mixers of our choice and Redbull. The servers were fun and attentive and made excellent drinks. The cost was about $350 and totally worth it! They just don't have the space. So we can probably only spend two hours here maximum especially if you're wearing heels although maybe some people can wear heels all day without sitting. The problem and the disappointment is that the drinks are way too expensive. $16 for mediocre drinks that are mostly ice cubes in small plastic cups. And then, if they do have specials, they run out of them. Before the event even starts. That's my biggest problem with this place. This is the only queer space on the island that has weak small drinks. For a high price. That is not a typical culture of a queer space. All the other queer spaces have much larger stronger better drinks, and the prices are lower. It's really a bummer because I will only order one drink here and then if I want to have more drinks go somewhere else. But it's OK shouldn't have to drink to have fun anyway as I suppose. Even the Republic has bigger better drinks, and they're not even a dedicated queer space.
