We went with our two young children & they were very accommodating. We ordered a bunch of stuff but most notable was the Ensalada Salad, Croquette Cordero, Taco Raisu, Karaage Pollo, and for dessert, the Piña Borracha. We ordered some pork and steak skewers. These were ok, I would skip these next time. A little burnt. My favorite was the Ensalada Salad. The crab was sweet and the salsa opaca was so refreshing with the apple foam. Was told to smash the crisp on top and combine it with everything and that took it to another level! So good that we ordered another one. The price of this was so affordable too! The Croquette Cordero was like a mini curry ball with chimuchirri sauce. A little heavy but if you love curry, this is for you! The Taco Raisu surprised us. The taco mean was so flavorful!! Even though we were stuffed, we kept going back for more. It's like a deconstructed taco & you use the lettuce as a wrap. The Karaage Pollo came with a Cucumber Escabeche. It was so tangy and refreshing, which perfectly cuts through the rich, savory oiliness of the fried chicken. We got the Piña Borracha for dessert and that had a coconut cake, coconut lime mousse, banana lilikoi curd, and pasted pineapple on top. Amazing!! Great way to end the night. I go here on occasions. I've made to brunch a couple times but typically I make it to the evenings. The restaurant hours are relatively calm, but switches gears when it becomes a nightclub. Restaurant-wise, I believe the menu had a recent change-up to further explore fusion possibilities. I've been going down the list and the dishes have been pretty good so far; I haven't made it to the taco raisu yet, but I do need me some desserts. The picarones is like a peruvian andagi, which was pretty cool. The miso cream brûlée was from the prior menu, but also a Yes. I went to Ki Club Restaurant and was honestly so surprised by how good it was. The food was really tasty, everything we tried was flavorful and well done. The drinks were also a standout, strong and delicious, which we definitely appreciated. The vibe was great too, fun and energetic without feeling overwhelming. It's a really nice spot for dinner that easily turns into a night out. Plus, you get free access to the club after dinner, which makes the whole experience even better. Most people come here for happy hour or dinner, but don't miss out on their breakfast menu! It's truly a hidden gem as a breakfast spot. I was shocked to see a nearly empty restaurant at 11am on a Sunday. Interesting menu and excellent execution. The loco moco with the omurice was amazing! The egg was so fluffy and soft, and the meat had lots of flavor. Their matcha pancakes were also worth a try - soft and light with a good matcha flavor. I loved my lengua nachos. It didn't feel quite like breakfast food to me, nonetheless it's delicious and I killed it. The ambiance was modern, hip with a tall ceiling so it felt very spacious inside. The service was attentive and friendly. Best of all, for the quality of food and service that we received, we thought the price was reasonable. When you walk in, the restaurant, bar area, and staff are all very welcoming. Service was good, though the food felt just ok during my visit. I ordered the taco nasu and the milk cereal panna cotta, and was also able to try the braised pork kuakini benedict (pictured) and the chili-ki-les (not pictured). The benedict and tacos were a bit one-noted for me, but the chili-ki-les stood out, as did the milk cereal panna cotta. I came here to celebrate my birthday with my cousins. We arrived early enough to take advantage of the happy hour specials. When you enter, there is a bar on the left and a large dining space in the middle. We sat in the back area in a booth-type seat. Our server was friendly and helpful with ordering, since it was our first time eating here. She gave some recommendations on the food and drinks. She didn't know all the drinks, so she had to check with the bar. Some of the food we ordered was: salt and vinegar wings, beef and bacon patties, ahi stack, tofu poke, enoki scallop and corn dashi, and the pork belly kakuni. Everything was delicious! My favorites of the night were the pork belly and the enoki scallop. The meal ended with a sparkling ice cream dessert! Yummmm!! Definitely a must try kind of place!!! This was my first time here upon a recommendation from a friend. I loved everything about the Ki ... the service, the vibe, the atmosphere, the food and more! The service was excellent!!! The bartender was great she answered all our questions and made excellent recommendations on drinks and food! I enjoyed the Enoki mushroom scallops, the bone marrow, and Ahi pizza. They are definitely must try! I can't remember the name of my drinks but they were so good!!! The restaurant is clean, the bathroom was clean --just that alone to me says a lot about a place!! Last month happy hour. Today returned for brunch. Brunch is now my favorite meal of the day at the Ki Club ! Asian fusion at its finest. Let's start with the service... always top notch! We stopped by Ki Club for dinner right before catching Fluffy the Comedian at Blaisdell Arena. Since I'd seen so many Instagram videos about this spot, it made our shortlist of nearby restaurants to try -- and I'm glad we did. The food was solid overall. Our server was great at walking us through the specials, so we went with the prime rib and mashed potatoes, which hit the spot. The fries and chicken wings were tasty, though I wasn't a fan of the fried unagi balls or the poke tower with shrimp crackers. The highlight of the night was definitely dessert -- a matcha creation paired with ice cream that was both delicious and memorable. To top it off, the staff went above and beyond: when they found out we were celebrating, our server surprised us with sparklers, adding such a fun and festive touch. Their happy hour menu is also available Wednesday-Sunday from 4p-6p. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the food was. The pastas were on the smaller portion size, but we grabbed a whole bunch of apps to supplement as well. I'm still dreaming about the lobster linguini and their pasta of the day (kimchee carbonara). That matcha bread pudding is comforting alongside that strawberry semifreddo which was nice. I can't believe this place can produce such great tasting food! As for the service, there were 2 guys and 1 girl that floated the entire room. It did not seem as if they had sections or designated areas. Though each were very friendly, and kept up with the witty banter that we were having. Though the music is on the louder side, I was still able to have a conversation with my party, without feeling like I had to yell. I also saw quite a bit of families on this night with their children as well. The place can definitely accommodating large parties or if you wanted to just grab a seat at the bar, that's open too. Interesting cuisine...Peruvian Japanese food. Food was good but service was slow and they were out of some of the dishes we wanted like the Ahi Pizza and Lobster Linguine. However, I did enjoy our meal. The Samoan crab was divine and the cauliflower salad was light and refreshing. The Ahi Nigiri was melt-your-mouth goodness. I don't eat meat so I did not partake of the pork dish and karaage but my friends raved about them. The ambience was great, it was a perfect way to celebrate my dear sister's birthday. Toward the end, though, we were rushed which cost stars. The remaining food items and our 3rd (or was it 4th LOL) round of drinks (BTW their mixed drinks were on-point!) took a long time to come out as they were turning over the restaurant into their club. So we finished our drinks and the last of our meal standing up. I went to the bar for some change but they did not have any available because they were in the middle of changing over into the club. We were asked to leave and stand in line to re-enter in the club line. As dinner patrons I felt we should have been able to remain inside but what do I know. I haven't been clubbing in a long time. Cool vibe for Happy Hour! They even do fun brunch with mimosas. From Kalakaua Ave., there's free parking in the front lot. There's a paid parking lot in the back with a short walk way to the main entrance. If you go for Happy Hour, be sure to have their chicken wings with yuzu dipping sauce! The chicken is fried up perfectly and the sauce, they really need to bottle it and sell it....So incredible! Their tofu salad with Ho Farms tomato is also very tasty. From their brunch menu, I had the salmon Benedict. Both eggs were poached perfectly. It had generous portion of salmon and served over poi English muffins. The potato hash was nice and crispy! I've noticed Ki Club on Facebook. A friend of mine visits often, and she invited us to celebrate late Christmas. We went, and wow... The entrance was amazing, with friendly staff. This was my first time at Ki Club and I wasn't sure how the ambiance would be for a family since it becomes a club later in the evening. We came with our two kids and found the ambiance nice and welcoming. The waitress was super nice and helped guide us. Food: everything was really good. As a vegetarian my concern is always what I can eat but I got the house salad, tofu katsu, ajitama fried rice, and two desserts. Everything was really well seasoned and ono, very filling. The side of garlic mashed potatoes were good but could have used some more seasoning. Dessert was delicious and a nice end to the meal. My only complaint is the parking lot is small (Hawaii problems so it's par for the course) we got there early and self parked but still needed to pay the valet. read more

Made reservations for 7pm on a Friday night. The valet was helpful; and the hostess was friendly and informative, and sat us right away. I liked the bold and playful design with blue. I had the Grass Blade & Black Dragon Serenade for cocktails. The Black Dragon Serenade was yummy! For food we had the Maine Lobster Linguini, Gyutan Tacos, Seared Hokkaido Scallops and Miso Crème Brûlée. I think I liked the Maine Lobster Linguini the best, but everything was good. The hours of operation is very misleading. We walked from our hotel to this establishment around 6 PM on a Sunday night. The doors were locked. A staff member saw that we were outside. He unlocked the door and seemed very puzzled. He indicated that they were not open even though Yelp hours and their website indicated that they were open for dinner during this time. I've been to Ki Club three times so far and it has started to become a favorite spot for me and my wife for almost every occasion -- date night, happy hour, or celebrating a random holiday. The ambiance is definitely a night club, which is apropos because it does become a club at 10 on weekends. Music can get loud at times because the sound does bounce off the walls -- which can sometimes affect any type of table conversation you may have. For me it's not a big deal because it seems to add to the presentation and taste of the food and drinks. Let's start with the cocktails. Happy Hour is pretty solid, with specialty shots being around $5 each (as of May '25). And these are easily double shots -- filled to the brim with whatever delicious elixir you choose. Outside of Happy Hour, I haven't had a bad cocktail yet. The presentation of the Tai Fighter is a showstopper. They light it on fire at the table, and you have a good flame for about a minute. But I've also enjoyed the presentation of some of the other cocktails, such as the Grass Blade which was refreshing and enjoyable. Their sake flights are also worth noting because they come out on a wooden katana. The food wows me almost every time. Even if some dishes aren't amazing -- you'll still find they are good compared to other places. However, personal standouts are the pork belly kakuni, Maine lobster linguine (with uni butter), and crispy skin kanpachi. I'm a sucker for mushrooms and dumplings, so I really love the enoki scallops. read more

There were a lot of couples around, so we figured it might be more of a first date or intimate dinner kind of spot. Dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii... We were curious about a new restaurant: Ki Club... and tried to make a reservation. We called and told them we'll be there in about a half hour and they welcomed us... because it was before the dinner rush. We found street parking by Don Q. and walked a few blocks over. (The area was a bit dangerous because of sketchy people hanging around.) I personally don't like valet parking. I had a bad experience in the past. This location was a Japanese restaurant... i can't remember the name of it. It's on Kalakaua Avenue, before the Kapiolani intersection by the Convention Center. The interior is trendy, fancy, and elegant. The service was like a team effort, so, I felt like we were forgotten in-between staff attention. I ordered the Seared Hokkaido Scallops. They were delicious, but there were only four pieces. I was still hungry, and ordered a side of asparagus. It was tasty! I probably won't go again unless it was a special occasion. The ambiance was upbeat and lively. Our server was clearly a new, but did his best to answer our questions and took our order. The food arrived promptly. Going clubbing... It's been too long to mention the days of going to the club but after discovering the menu this newbie has to offer it was a place that we were very curious do visit which is easier said than done as the location is on a very busy intersection of Kalakaua and Kapiolani parking would be by valet or what we did was find street parking and walked over and found the entrance is on Kalakaua between these cool black double doors. Walking in I was surprised to see the interior is nice and a very modern and cozy feel with lots of open seating and as we arrived early they did seat us immediately though the menu does have items from land and sea with a few veggie options the majority offerings are seafood related. I ordered the "Ahi Pizza" as truffle oil definitely got my attention along with the rest of the toppings which includes ahi, yuzu mayo, jalapeños, onion and fried capers on a crisped flour tortilla topped with shiso chiffonade as this bougie bite was nice and fresh I just enjoyed this unique presentation which is also very shareable as well. I paired my pizza with "Night Bloom" a sip in the zero proof section as this yummy drink is made using cold brewed jasmine tea as it was nice and fit the vibe I was feeling as what else would I have with ahi than some tea lol! The service is nice as they did check on us quite often and seeing the celebration and gathering around us it was a nice and festive place with what seems like the club is on the second floor as this fun place is a great spot to gather. Went for a friends birthday last week. A handful of other birthday parties that night as well! Parking is difficult. I paid for valet in the front which was $5, tip not included. Ahi pizza was meh. Was definitely interesting, as I've never had it before but the crust was basically like a thick cracker and not really a pizza. It's also cold--so don't expect something warm. Scallops were good but few. Dashi was warm and poured tableside. Enoki "scallops" were okay, basically just a thick noodle wrapped around a bunch of enoki mushrooms with dashi. Octopus was okay for me as I'm not a huge octopus person but my friends enjoyed it. Kind of odd how they plate it on a third of the plate.. makes it appear like there's less food! The 2 smashed crispyish potatoes at the bottom of the octopus stack might've been the best thing I had eaten that night lol We also stayed for a table after the dinner, but keep in mind they do kick you out while they set up! I try not to review an establishment after my initial try. I try to go back a couple times before penning my review, however, I am compelled to write a review after my first experience. So here goes: A couple things you need to know before going and they are: 1. mandatory $5 (plus tip) valet parking unless you park off property and walk over. 2. reservations while not required is recommended (f you make a reservation through the Yelp site, you will get directed to the Open Table platform) 3. there is an automatic Kitchen service fee and I'm not sure what it is. I was attempting to work the numbers backwards but just couldn't come to a percentage close enough to call) 3. clubbing available Fridays and Saturdays 10 pm to closing. There is a $15 cover charge unless you are already there for dinner. Ok, now about my experience: Service is top notch. From the moment you park your car to the end when you walk out the door, you will be treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism Ambiance and interior is sexy and amazing. Many dollars were spent to renovate the public area. I can't comment on the back of the house as I don't know what it was like before Ki. But, the front of the house was definitely upgraded. The second level may serve food and drink on normal schedule but it is a DJ station on Friday and Saturday after 10 pm The food, at least that which we had was delicious and pretty. You can certainly see the care and pride of the owner and chef as it shows in the food presentation. Beverage- Short list of wines, sake and other adult beverages. That is a good thing leaving working capital for the food, staff etc and not tied up on tons of alcohol which may or may not get used. Now all that said, why 4 stars and not 5 stars? IMHO it is extremely pricey for what you get irrespective of the beauty and desired tastes. The portions are on the smaller side and the price point is $20 plus for appetizers and $40 plus for entrees. (2 of us? our bill was $196 plus tip; broken down: $89 alcohol, $107 food, and our food was appetizers only,) But it's good for a date night or special occasion. It's not a place to go just to hang out. Would I go back? More than likely- for a special occasion One more thing- My favorite appetizer dish was the Enoki Scallop. They charge $5 for valet parking which is the only parking available but it's not a bad deal because a nearby lot charges $10 on the other side of the bldg. We ordered a bunch of food and shared it amongst the 4 of us. We didn't have a bad dish at all, everything was really good and everyone loved it! We ordered appetizers: ENOKI "SCALLOP" & CORN DASHI - Not an actual scallop but wrapped like one, this was really yummy if you like enoki mushrooms. It came with 4 pieces so easy to share. I had a great experience at this restaurant last night! We got there apx 5pm and there were a couple ppl at the bar and 3-4 tables of patrons. The decor is really nice and the place appeared clean! There appeared to be 2 waiters. Their drinks menu was really really cool and we saw multiple tables order a smokey drink that is presented in a box. It was really Instagram cool to watch the presentation!. Then the food had the same beautiful presentation! Rsvp for dinner on a Thursday at 6pm. It's on kalakaua going towards Waikiki and it's valet parking. It was actually empty during that time. The service was attentive and friendly, I'm not sure I cared too much for the atmosphere as it was kind of loud and I do know that upstairs is like a dj club area but it was fine. I did like that it felt spacious and open. We got a few appetizers/sides: tofu poke salad, mushroom medley and some bok choy. They were all pretty tasty. We also got this takoyaki croquette that was alright, a little too heavy on the sauces so I didn't finish them. Main dishes were the lobster linguini with uni butter sauce and tobiko and braised short rib. Braised short rib was really good - soft and flavor really nice. The linguini was good but after 3-4 bites it was too rich for me so its good to share, my friend doesn't like lobster lol. Overall I think I liked the food, to me it just feels like similar dishes/flavors/style to other places like it's not new flavors but I would go again to try other dishes on the menu and it's a pretty convenient location. read more

Easily one of the worst club experiences I've had. It felt like the staff only cared about making money and not at all about customer experience. The service was cold, unwelcoming, and unprofessional throughout the night. The bartenders were too busy chitchatting and talking bad about other clients to each other. Security kept pushing people and saying "move". Kicking people out over a damn receipt. Glad we left and went to Moani's instead completely different vibe and much better experience. I was eager to come here today between the yelp reviews, and being right across from the conference center! It wasn't too crowded, we were seared right away. Excellent vibes, very lounge-style interior, chic and modern, comfortable seats. Tiffany our waitress was helpful and patient as we studied the menu, which did have a symbol next to popular choices. Asian fusion dishes totally hit the spot, family sharing style recommended but the dishes probably could have been per person as well, they weren't too big. They recommended 2 plates per person - we ordered 2 main meals and 2 sides, shared everything and were super full. Ahi Tuna was crispy, well balanced flavors, and super delectable. Lobster pasta was creamy, favorable and simply divine. Fries were very crispy but were a little over-salted especially with the aioli. The bok choy was a perfect addition, perfectly cooked in a nice light sauce. I ordered the time and energy drink, it was light, crisp and refreshing - not over-ally sweet, a little citrusy with a cute long ice cube and garnish. Highly recommend! read more

Great food and great service. My mother had already come for lunch and liked the place so much that she brought my dad and I to celebrate their anniversary. The waitress remembered my mom and was very friendly. My dad ordered one of their sake flights (of which there are two different choices) and they brought us both comping the second one as an anniversary gift. We started with the ahi pizza. The crust was thin and crispy and the fish tasted nice and fresh. I really liked it. I do warn that there are jalapenos on there so if you are weak to spice maybe ask for it without. We then ordered our main dishes which included the lobster linguine, ribeye and an ahi wellington (an off menu special that day). Every thing was great. The pasta has large chunks of lobster. The steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I would definitely recommend stopping by. read more

Greaaaaaat service and delicious food. We went in for happy hour as a start to celebrate our anniversary and had quite a few request and questions. They answered them all and was extremely accommodating. The restaurant is beautiful, swanky and trendy. I will have to come back to see how the night club is. read more

Went for a friend's birthday. Service was friendly, and the interior was beautifully decorated. It feels luxe from the moment you walk in. Food was delicious, but portions were small and pricy. For a special event, it definitely was worth it. read more
