People were nice, but 90% markup on fuel filters. Would not recommend buying parts from here.

I am a glutton for punishment as I get some weird thrill out of buying a car thousands of miles…read moreaway and hoping/praying it all works out. I am better than 50/50, but not much. Based on spend after receipt I am likely far behind! This time I found a truck in Cheyenne, WY that looked interesting. It had a diesel engine and they can be really expensive to repair. And it is 26 years old. I wanted an independent set of eyes on the truck locally. After reading their reviews on YELP, I decided to contact CARS (Cheyenne Auto Repair & Service-clever, right?). Rachel answered the phone and she was amazing. Rather than treating me like the lunatic I am, she was kind, thoughtful and asked good questions. She also provided excellent and timely follow up. While it is not a service they typically offer, she arranged for one of their certified diesel mechanics, Dylan, to stop by the dealership and give the truck the once over. His review was thorough and included an estimate of what he recommended in terms of repairs. He is calling me later to chat about the truck and his report as a measure of follow through. I could not have been happier with the friendliness, professionalism, quality and speed of service. Outstanding company and outstanding people. I would highly recommend CARS for your car services. Thanks so much for your help guys!

Avoid Cheyenne Auto Repair and Service. I brought my 2015 Subaru Impreza here to fix a failing…read morefront right wheel hub and a negative camber issue from a previous accident. Instead of properly diagnosing the bent suspension component, they just threw parts at it. They charged me $731 to replace both front control arms, which completely failed to fix the negative camber. They also charged me a $55 diagnostic fee to "inspect tires and check for cause of uneven wear," and then completely failed to fix the problem causing the uneven wear. To make matters worse, they returned my car with extensive body damage that wasn't there before. There are strange, veiny scratch marks everywhere across my front left quarter panel and the driver's door. I have no idea what happened while my car was in their bay, but it is entirely unacceptable. Mechanically, their work was just as careless. They handed the car back to me with a crooked steering wheel. They didn't perform an alignment after replacing the control arms, which is basic mechanical negligence and will quickly ruin my tires. In fact, on the invoice written by John and Will, they actually printed "DOES NOT include alignment" for the control arm replacement - admitting they left a major suspension job incomplete. When I asked about it, they told me to hold off on the alignment until I paid them to replace both front wheel hubs. Wheel hubs do not need to be replaced in pairs, and replacing a hub doesn't affect alignment anyway. They failed to find the actual bent part, scratched up the side of my car, and tried to hold my car's drivability hostage with terrible mechanical advice to upsell me on unnecessary work. Take your vehicle to a real shop that respects your property and doesn't try to scam you.

CUSTOMER REVIEW!!! I went into Midas here in Cheyenne to get…read morea routine oil change and the end result was them incorrectly performing the maintenance causing me to go get it fixed two days later. I went in on Saturday, drove to Denver and back, and then Sunday night my car started making a rattling noise and my oil light began to flash. I went straight home and checked underneath the hood and my engine was smoking and my oil had completely drained out of my car. Turns out, they poked multiple holes in my oil filter with pliers which led to my car to be completely drained of oil. I obviously took it to a different mechanic to get the cost of damages and report of what caused my car to stop running properly because I read other people's experience of oil shops like Midas trying to beat around the bush and blame the customer for a damaged engine. I went into Midas to respectfully ask for a refund and reimbursement for the damages because I refused to pay for something that a "professional" should be able to perform without mistakes. I was very respectful going in, however, Tyler at Midas was very condescending and rude. Midas was persistent and tried telling me that my 2015 car required full synthetic oil (when I know you don't have to use synthetic oil if you haven't in the past), so at that point I got the idea they are only out to get your money. He told me that "I wasn't going to get a free oil change" and since "he wasn't the one to perform the oil change" it wasn't his fault. He proceeded to tell me that it's their policy to only give refunds if I brought my damaged car back to Midas to assess the problem. I informed him that no person in their right mind would bring their car back to the shop that caused major damage in the first place. I am waiting to receive information on whether or not my engine is cracked or damaged in any way possible. I think it's important for me to let everyone know that this company only cares about money and is very disrespectful when it comes to customer service. My boyfriend and friends have been very loyal customers to Midas, however, after this days' worth encounter, none of us will be using their services and to everyone else I recommend you do your own check after ANY service they perform to make sure they performed it correctly. I also read other reviews from this specific Midas and Tyler has been rude and treated customers poorly in the past, so I recommend speaking to someone with a little more respect. At this point it's not about the money that I missed out on, it's about the principle of the situation and how poorly I was treated. I had to reach out to corporate to get this situation handled appropriately and am very upset about how Tyler treated me and the poor customer service I received.

We pulled over to Loves Fuel depot on I-25 and they recommended Grabers Diesel Repair. The Graber team removed the tire, the metal, and used a repair plug but the hole diameter was too large so they installed the spare tire. Then they called several tire shops in Cheyenne and found a Firestone tire shop which was open. All in all, Grabers' spent over an hour with us and didn't charge for their time and materials. We are truly blessed by their kindness and support. I strongly recommend anyone in need of support to visit Grabers Diesel Repair. Barry

Graber mechanic inspected pads and rotors then called me to say I did not need to replace anything, I must have picked up some road dust, maybe while driving through New Mexico and Texas, but anyway they saved me $1500. The courtesy inspection they perform that is included with oil/filter change is very thorough. Antifreeze topped off, brake fluid topped off, transition fluid inspected, rear differential found pinion leak, topped off, took nearly three quarts of fluid. Also check all running lights, plus lube job So gratefully for the Graber team helping us put while on an extended rv trip.
