Had coffee here today. Nice set up. Baristas were knowledgeable and coffee was good. I also had a pumpkin ball which was good. Nice place.

smoothie $4.75. seems high for 12oz young cashier, deer in the headlights stare, robotic. tells a confused customer, "all of our menu items are described in our paper menu." she touches the menus but doesn't give one to the customer. lady just stood there. awk. my gf walnut burger is tasty but I think it has cheese inside. menu should reflect. smoothies are made in a vitamix that is disturbingly, startlingly loud for such a small space. lots of industrial noise. beeping, bev case rattling, tinny stereo, air conditioning. flat screen with cnn. lotta noise here, audible and visual. recycling available, yay a gf muffin in the case, yay adding $.75 for carrots/celery or a fruit cup instead of chips -- boo. pay less for healthy food and more for crap. but this is a societal paradigm problem. it's the reason we're a chubby, sickly nation. small inside, six four tops. additional seating outside. my nerves are jangling here. gonna go find a quieter place to work. read more

Great main street attraction in Sturgeon Bay. Sandwiches were made fresh and tasted great. If you are looking for local and non chain eating this would be it. Whenever I'm in Sturgeon Bay I always love to start my day with Kick. Their coffee is delicious and they always have quick and healthy food options ranging from standard breakfast sandwiches to unique seasonal offerings. The atmosphere at Kick is friendly and inviting. I love the space with its stamped steel ceiling tiles and it's view of the 3rd avenue hustle and bustle. The baristas are delightful. Hit up Kick Coffee for the first time yesterday. If I were solely rating the coffee and food, would easily give this place 4 stars, but the service drags the entire experience down significantly. I don't require much, but how about a tiny bit of personality? I'll take any type of emotion: happiness, shock, sadness... Give me something!! This place has the potential to be a cool little coffee shop. Get rid of the current staff and hire some kids who can carry a conversation. read more

Kick is on our must list when we go to Door County. We usually bike here from further up the peninsula, get a refreshment and then bike back. The back patio is a perfect place to enjoy an iced tea or coffee after a long bike ride. The Greek breakfast bagel is really delicious and filling... Comes with a side of fresh fruit. This is apparently the place to go for coffee, breakfast and lunch in downtown Sturgeon Bay. It's a small place but decorated with local art and offer a wide variety of food items. There are seats outside as well if you want to people watch.... I would give anything if I could transport this independent to my hometown. I am so so tired of Starbucks! read more

I dropped in here with some friends on a whim once we found out our hotel didn't serve breakfast, and I'm glad we did! They have yummy granola and yogurt, and even yummier breakfast sandwiches-- they definitely do not skimp on the eggs and meat! Our server was so nice and patient with my group as we tried to decide what to have, and there was a cute little garden out back with some small tables to sit at. I would definitely come here again on my next trip to Sturgeon Bay! read more

Cute cafe. Chai latte was pretty good. Don't over do with the espresso in a "dirty chai" very powerful and then you can't taste the chai. Slower service since there were only two people and they make sandwiches as well. Espresso shots are made from old time espresso machine. read more

This used to be my goto coffee place until they changed coffee brands. The new coffee brand is waxy and kind of horrible. If you don't put cream in your coffee you notice they have floaters in the top. They baked goods are good but I come for the cafeene fix! read more

A wonderful place to spend a morning! We visited Sturgeon Bay for a three day trip and spent every morning at this delightful coffee shop. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, they serve fair trade coffee and they have an assortment of breakfast pastries and sandwiches. The staff are welcoming and inviting. The only downside is that there are only a few tables and chairs in the shop and it was usually busy, making it difficult to find a place to sit and feel like you can "stay." Coffee is just good, but the service, free WiFi, free use of their computers, large menu of drinks as well as food is what makes this place great. Not sure what Brad from CA is talking about, but the Ladies there (2 different ones on 2 different days) were very friendly and personable. We asked a local patron if he knew where a good beach was and he gladly explained the location of about 4-5 different places. My experience at Kick was great. I will definitely be a regular as long as I keep vacationing in Sturgeon Bay and Door Co. read more

Kick Coffee is just what a city person needs when traveling to Sturgeon Bay. Often there are exhibits of paintings and photos by local artists. There are 2 Mac computers for accessing the internet or bring your laptop and settle in for a splendid time with a cup 'o joe that is among the BEST. Refills are $1, a bit on the expensive side in my humble opinion, but hey, the owner has 4 growing boys, so what the heck, it's going to a good cause. I didn't get his name, but he's very personable and makes a good breakfast sandwich. Other eats offerings include the requisite coffee shop edibles like cookies, pastries, soups and sandwiches. Kick is a must if you're in Sturgeon Bay. I've been traveling to Sturgeon Bay since 2002 and Kick is one of my local hangs. Love the place! read more

Excellent! Looking for a bagel to go with the coffee I got from our hotel, I found this place and saw quiche on the menu. Never having had a quiche before (I know, right?), I decided to venture outside my bagel comfort zone. I was served one of the best-tasting breakfast items ever! Since I own an independent sandwich shop I love to sample other's offerings when I travel....in this case I will steal ideas...the chicken salad wrap was delicious and the ultimate grilled cheese will soon appear as a special at my place read more

The store charges 4% if you use your debit or credit card which I find to be greedy and downright disrespectful to patrons. Really, what a joke and a slap in the face for a society that doesn't carry cash as it once did, these are just avaricious tactics that take away from a place that could be considered a nice place to get a cup of coffee. Oh, and don't even try to use your freedom of speech under the U.S. Constitution as you will be deemed "rude" "disrespectful" and someone that "shouldn't visit Kick Coffee" or the staff will watch you out the back door like a monkey in the zoo and mock you behind the counter while you are standing there, but they don't think that is rude, in fact the manager thought the contrary and felt that it was okay that the staff did such things and even said that the owners would back her up on the way she handled the situation; if that is the case count me out of ever going back. So that is the poor service you will receive, now the coffee is another thing, it is good and the drinks are made well, but will I sacrifice service for a product I can get other places, that answer is no. Altera coffee is in a lot of places and am happy to give others my business. read more
