It wasn't as bad as some of the reviews I've read. My waitress ML was very nice. I was in and out within 45 minutes. The food was fine. I had a steak, which I usually don't do at places like this, it was better than I expected. I've also had their sampler in the past. If you want to get waited on don't go here. My husband and I went in for lunch on a Tuesday around 2:30 & waited 10 minutes for a waitress that never came so we left & went to Lucky's burger & tap!! It took us forever to get our food. They messed up our order and our fries were burnt and our burger was dry and the pasta was not cooked all the way threw and not enough pasta sauce. The waitress took a long time to come and take our order and it took very long to get our order. And our order didn't come out together or at least close together. I was hesitant when I saw the review score on yelp but was very much surprised that it was really quite good. Went with large work group so didn't have much of a choice in deciding where to eat, but I would definitely return again. The dinner salads are fantastic. I had the grilled teriyaki asian salad which was wonderful. Chicken was juicy and not overcooked which Is what I was expecting. Very convenient location across from Hampton Inn. Now i remember why i waited 6 months to come back here. Wings were under cooked, they forgot my salad again, and i got fries the size of fingernails. My wife got a pasta dish that was cold. We used to frequent this "establishment" all the time. My husband loves the wings, I love the pizza, we both love the fact that they have Four Saints on tap. But with our experience today, neither one of us will be stepping foot in this place until management changes. A group of us stopped here for a birthday lunch (8 people total). The place was slow, weren't very many people, and had at least 3 waitresses and a manager (I'm assuming - she never identified herself as such) standing around beside the hostess station. After deliberating with them, the hostess asked if we would like to sit at two four-top tables and we said no, we'd like to sit all together. We've been here many times and they've always moved tables around for us, so we didn't think it was that big of a deal. The manager (once again I'm assuming) tells us that their "other room" is closed on the weekdays and asked again if we could sit at two four top tables. When we replied no, and asked if they could just slide two tables together, she told us that she understood how we wanted to sit together. When we mentioned eating somewhere else that could accommodate us, she said something to the tune of, "it's okay, we understand! bye!" Incredibly rude, bad business, and zero customer service. We went next door to Chilis where they sat us all together within 5 minutes... So please, go to Chilis! They are so much better and so much nicer than this place will ever be. Is much bigger than we thought. Loud! I was on the far side of the table and never had any idea what the server was saying. Ribs were not very flavorful and the sauce was not much help. Fried shrimp was ok but not fabulous. Boneless wings were good with nice spice. Burger was average, nothing exceptional. It is close to a couple of hotels-that was about all that it had going for it. Fantastic place. They have everything. Burgers, pizza, steak, seafood etc. I had the Mahi tacos and my wife had the "White pizza". Both were cooked to perfection and the taste was excellent. Stopped by here on a road trip for a quick meal. Had a Buffalo chicken sandwich that was great. The chicken tasted better than I would expect for a pub grub kind of place. This is a great place. We were passing through Ashboro and stayed across the street. Great atmosphere. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sport. Six in our party including two children. All the meals were excellent. We had a wide variety of choices in our party, from salmon to wings and burgers. Everyone was happy with their meal. Appetizers were great as well. read more

in town again and stayed nextdoor at the hotel...ate here 3 times, all 3 times great food. their pizza is surprisingly excellent for a sports bar--homemade crust and they have a pizza oven so it's cooked well. i've never had such great pizza at a restaurant that wasn't specifically a pizzeria...and in fact this pizza is better than any pizza in the asheboro area. read more

I worked as a waiter and bartender for a total of 5 years while in college and my first year after graduating. My company took all the top employees out on a tuesday night April 8th 2014. The service was by far the absolute worst I have ever seen. I never saw this happen for the 5 years I had worked in a restaurant. First off, when I arrived I immediately ordered. Some of the 10 guests received their food however no silverware or drinks. We asked for silverware 3 times and after 30 minutes I walked to the bar and grabbed 10 silverwares myself. Then I asked where my food was. The waitress said she forget and will get right on it. 45 minutes later no food nor drinks. I walked up to her and asked again. She said oops I forgot, I'm sorry, Ill get it right now. 45 minutes later no food. I ordered again. Same thing. Then I see the waitress singing in the karaoke. afterwards I asked again. She said she would check. Now remember, this is a friggin restaurant. All I am trying to do is order a damn meal. I tried 5 times telling the waitress repeatedly and even asking if I could do anything to help her order our food. Some of the others also did not get their orders. Finally I saw her again and went up to her a 6th time. She said oh I'm sorry I was just too busy but I'm going home now. None of us had left yet. Basically she was leaving the party after she got her BIG c-note tip without getting us drinks, silverware, or even placing our orders. Service was terrible. Could not even place an order. The waitress was too busy on her cell phone and talking with friends to order our food or bring us drinks, or even bring us silverware. Absolutely astounding. I usually am the type to leave big tips since I have done the work myself years ago but this was the first time I have ever experienced service this bad. Let's put it this way.....on a trip to a foreign country I was detained for 5 days in that country's jail.(I was not committing a crime, wrong place wrong time kind of thing) During my stay, the service in a third world jail was actually better than the service at Kickback Jacks. Incredible. If you go make sure to ask for the manager and just order directly through him or her to make sure you actually get your food and drinks otherwise you may be waiting 4 hours for a water and chicken wings. read more
