I've now tried a number of their signature lattes, matcha, and chai. What's been most memorable is their yummy bites. I absolutely adore their selection of pastries.. especially the raspberry blondies. Their sandwiches are the perfect mid day meal and served with a side salad or chips. The turkey sandwich will forever be a go-to when I'm in the neighborhood. The inside is warm and cozy, with a large number of chairs and tables for mingling. What a nifty little cafe in Flagstaff. I had already gotten coffee elsewhere and was in the mood for something different, so I was happy to see that they offered matcha latte. I also appreciated that they were willing to accommodate my customization requests. They were able to substitute soy milk for regular milk and honored my request for no ice. The matcha tasted like legitimate ceremonial grade, and the latte was perfectly sweetened. We had a really good time there catching up with friends, and the atmosphere made it easy to sit and enjoy the moment. The staff was very friendly, which added to the overall positive experience. Many of the other customers we interacted with were also pleasant, giving the cafe a welcoming and relaxed vibe. The only downside was the parking situation. Parking was a bit of a hassle, as there were very few dedicated onsite parking spaces, and we had to rely on street parking instead. It's a cozy little coffee shop with tons of drink options, a solid food menu, and even a drive-thru (which we almost used, but I'm glad we went in to rest for a bit. I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich and an iced latte, and both were fresh, tasty, and exactly the kind of fuel you want before a big hiking day. It was also prepared very quickly for how fresh the sandwich was, it was also impressive given how busy it was. I also grabbed a bagel with cream cheese to save for lunch later, and let me just say they did not skimp on the cream cheese. It was perfectly loaded and somehow still fresh hours later. Nice place, voices kind of echo as I listen to my zoom call. It's a chatty place. I love that they serve Illy coffee. Wow wow. It's the drip and espresso. I forgot to ask what other coffee brand they serve. Illy is my favorite if I'm not getting Sumatra or Nicaragua coffees. I've not ever seen Illy in a coffee shop... I've usually gotten it in high end hotels or bought bags at expensive bougie high end specialty grocery stores. I love the seating couch areas they have so I always feel lucky getting a couch spot. They have a small book library so bring your extra books to drop off !! I love this place so much so I'll add a few books in the little blue cabinet at the back area. We stopped in before heading out to snowbowl az and it was perfect! I had a dirty chai with oat milk and it was so good my friend went back after to get the same thing! I decided that I would give kickstand one more chance after having very poor experiences the last few times I have been in, and unfortunately nothing has changed. It pains me to say but this place is a sad shell of what it used to be, kickstand was always a favorite of mine for many years but the decline of quality of service followed by the raising prices has made stopping here more than undesirable. Unfortunately, the last two times we have come here it's been disappointing. We've been coming here for over two years and it's always been one of our favorite places, but I don't think so anymore. They've taken the coffee approach of only filling your large coffee 2/3 full and then trying to fill the last third with foam. Way too expensive not to give me an actual large cup of coffee, and it's only lukewarm! Tried to heat it in the microwave but the cup doesn't even fit. $46 for two bagel sandwiches and two coffees is ridiculous when the coffees are only half full lukewarm and it's still self-serve... and when your sandwich is ready, they refuse to call out your name anymore so you're constantly walking up and back to your table to see if your food's there. Not what you expect for $46, we'll go to a sit down place in the future for this price. Probably won't be back for a while. read more

Great coffee in quiet area off main drag in Flagstaff. The drive thru is a nice feature when you want that option - else they had some seating outside along the building on the street side. It was definitely pricey for what you get but at least what you do get is really good! I got the Roogz and my husband got the Flag and both were great. A favorite place because of the specialty drink, The Snow Bunny. I love getting his iced with oat milk. It's a great spot! With lots of seating both indoor and outdoor as well as a drive through. Inside one can find board games, games and toys for both adults and children. There are high chairs and small chairs for kids as well. Food, pastries and drinks are available for purchase. I came back after 5 years, their kocktails were truly horrific. They overcharged us and the drinks were the worst made drinks i've ever had in my life. The white russian didn't have any coffee in it and they had to look up had to make it (and made it wrong). This summer I've been on a mission to find the best coffee shops in flagstaff since moving here because I love a good cafe. This one is definitely up there! The prices are reasonable and I highly recommend the Roogz for their pesto Mayo croissant. There are tons of flavor options to choose from and they are super quick to make your order.
