For our anniversary today, my wife and I were going to go to a different breakfast joint, but upon entering the plaza where I first choice was located we saw the sign for Daddy-O's and realized we had never visited the place. So, right there and right then we agreed to give it a shot. We were both glad we did. When we got there the place was empty - we were their first patrons, at the very least, at that particular time in the morning. After being warmly greeted we were told we could sit anywhere, so we did. The menu is straightforward, unassuming, and uncluttered. Breakfast items we all know and love and some other surprises I've never heard of. No matter, my wife had their two-egg build-your-own style, while I had their Tornado Burrito - we each added a pancake for good measure (and with blueberries). The breakfast items are made to order - nice touch - and we were served with about the amount of wait you would expect. Both items arrived at the table hot, fresh, and delicious. We downed our entire breakfast and enjoyed every bite. Service was super friendly, the waitress had a nice dry-wit about her that made talking to her fun. Since the place was small and homey, we ended up sparking up some conversation with the other patrons that arrived after us. Prices were incredibly low - I was surprised how little I paid for the amount of food offered. I would gladly pay more. Anyway, the place had a USA and military themed decor about it. A perfect place to bring our youngest sons who are currently serving when they visit later this year. Anyone in town who will listen to me I will tell them this is their breakfast stop in town - hands down...
