I've given this place two chances and I'm sad to report I just simply don't get how this has such high reviews. All this food is supremely average. So I guess I'll just chalk it up to being a local favorite? The last time I went there, we got the blueberry French toast, which wasn't actually French toast... It literally was like a blueberry muffin with blueberry compote and whipped cream. I mean it did say it was blueberry bread, but why would it be under the French toast section? It wasn't even toasted like French toast. No cinnamon, no egg, etc. The first time we went there we got the avocado toast, which was also a huge miss. The whole dish just tasted old. My friend got the chorizo eggs Benedict, which also was not that good. My other friend got the chicken and waffles but again it was just very average. From what I'm told though, the chicken is fried in beef tallow which is a huge plus! Another thing that was a disappointment was the "fresh squeezed, orange juice". I saw they had a juicer in there so when I double checked with the waitress, if it was truly fresh squeezed, I felt confident in the order. However, once it arrived to the table, it looked and tasted like straight concentrate. Then later, I saw a waitress pouring orange juice out of a plastic gallon lol. I'm not trying to completely rag on this place, I'm sure it has a local charm that keeps people coming back. But if you're not from the area and you're looking for a good breakfast spot, this is not a place I would recommend. Staff is always great though! read more

Wonderful BFast spot!! I went with the BFast burrito, and modified it to replace red skins with hash browns, and they did not skimp on the sausage. Very good! My buddy got a skillet that included sausage gravy, which I tried -- WOW!! Excellent gravy!! My only negative comment? They need to come up with a better salsa for the burrito. It reminded me of a jarred picante sauce. To cap off this review, service was exceptional (thank you, Hope), and we were greeted and farewelled by every employee we passed. Nice touch. Cheers! DELISH AND SUPER YUM BRUNCH! We got the Why not, which had 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast... simple yet delicious. I got the ATG which had 3 eggs, tomato's, goat cheese and avocado. I got sourdough bread with the side of sweet potato's. Left me feeling full but not tooo much. The price was affordable ($10-$15) per person. Restaurant was clean and staff was super friendly. My girlfriend and I enjoyed brunch today. Wait was half the time they estimated. The mimosas were delish - I ordered pina colada mimosa and my friend got a very berry mimosa. She ordered cinnamon swirl french toast with a side of bacon and I got the cinnamon roll pancake roll ups and a side of bacon. The food was amazing and the service was perfection. Have been wanting to try this restaurant ever since I saw it go up. Today we finally did. Pulled into the parking lot and the staff helped me rescue a softshell turtle. So props to the staff for being nature friendly. I have the pineapple mimosa, and my daughter had the berry mimosa they were quite nice & refreshing. I absolutely love crêpes and have a hard time finding someplace. That makes them well. Well no more I have found my place. My daughter also ordered a more traditional breakfast and loved it. The portion sizes are huge, but I will admit I ate all of my crêpes. I don't think I need lunch or dinner tonight. I have family coming into town from Ohio next week and we are planning on coming straight to Mimosa's after the airport. read more

Went there today for the first time to try to support a local business. Was greeted and sat right away. The server was quick to come to the table and bring drinks. Never once smiled or was even remotely friendly. Then she disappeared. Had to flag down someone who was wiping tables to ask her to let our server know we are ready to order. Five minutes later She finally comes to the table takes our order. Food came out super fast. The crapes were inconsistent in thickness. They were loaded with the fruit, which was awesome. But just very inconsistent between two different orders. Lacked flavor. The waitress finally came over to check on us offered me a refill and then forgot to bring the refill. Brought it after seeing the plates stacked up at the end of the table. Then had to flagger down to get the check. The omelette was really good. The restaurant itself was very clean. We tried Mimosa's Brunch for the first time this morning. We arrived around 11 and had about a 15 min wait for 2. The restaurant looked clean and very cute (had a very upscale look). It was a little warm in there, but may have been a building issue. We ordered the pina colada mimosa and the very berry mimosa along with the cowboy benedict and the cinnamon roll pancakes. A great new restaurant in Melbourne. This is located on Wickham Road in the center of a row of stores on the east side of the road. There is plenty of linear parking in front of the store. They did a very nice job with the branding as the name is consistent on the outside, inside, rugs and very pretty hand-crafted coffee cups. We were greeted at the door and led to a seat immediately. The restaurant is linear with an assortment of table types (all inside) from high tops to booths to regular tables. We were given a Mimosa menu (true to their name) along with a 2 sided laminated menu with breakfast options on one side and lunch options on the other. The waitress was very nice and professional. She was a bit busy as it took a few minutes before she visited our table initially. I ordered the meat omelette with fruit and toast for about $15 and my partner ordered 3 scrambled eggs for $5. Drinks (tea and coffee) were each $4. The food came out very quickly and it was very good. Overall, it was a very nice experience with friendly staff, clean fresh design and good food at a reasonable price. It is definitely a place that I recommend for fellow travelers for a meal and I plan to visit again. read more

Fortunately for us, a wicked storm was rolling in just as we were leaving, so the timing worked out. Mimosa's is a great breakfast spot, especially if you are looking for something beyond the traditional bacon-and-eggs menu. Their pancakes and French toast are truly specialty dishes, with creative combinations that feel indulgent, memorable, and absolutely delicious. The standout for us was the blueberry bread French toast. This is not your everyday French toast. It is rich, flavorful, and easily one of those dishes you find yourself thinking about after the meal is over. And, of course, the mimosas deserve a mention. With a name like Mimosa's, there are expectations, and they absolutely do their namesake proud. The service was friendly and efficient, though more of a polished, "we've got work to do" style than an overly personal or conversational experience. Everything moved along smoothly, which is appreciated in a busy restaurant. Overall, Mimosa's is absolutely worth the wait for a table. Had such a great experience at Mimosas Brunch! My family was the previous Niki's owners and I couldn't be happier that such a great family has taken over and renovated it and it looks absolutely amazing inside. The new owners were so warm and super friendly to us as soon as we walked in and I couldn't be happier that they get to make great memories in there like I did growing up. The pancakes were incredible, even my Son couldn't wait to dig in to them. The lemon poppyseed ones were absolutely out of this world.
