Today was mother's day and I was excited that they had Brunch so my son took me there and we had the worse experienced. First of all the place was so hot. Second service was slow and our waitress was clueless. We got the simple buffet which includes brunch menu..no rodizio experience. We ordered off the brunch menu and for over 30min my so and his gf never got any food. He was not happy so he wanted to leave on top of sweating to death. We got check and told them we are not paying for him and his gf because they didnt get any food. They insisted on charging for 4 of us. Of course that wasnt happening. But not just that..the buffet items looks very old. Nothing great for $35 pp. It will be our last time there unfortunately. It was an unpleasant experience and especially when he wanted to take me out for mother's day. IMO I dont recommend especially for the price they charge. read more

What a great place to eat! The owners are very nice, the food is high-quality, and there are many options on their buffet. Although I really like meat, I had never considered going there because I thought it was mostly meat offerings. I couldn't have been more wrong. I went at lunchtime a couple of weeks ago and was over the top pleasantly surprised at the food offerings. There were many meats and nearly every salad fixin' imaginable, including chicken salad, pasta salad, broccoli salad, etc. The buffet area was pristine, and the Romaine lettuce (my favorite) was fresh and crisp, and looked better than any other buffet I have seen in my many senior years. I don't eat out all that often, but this is definitely a top spot for me. I have been recommending Brasas to all of my friends. If you've never been there, give it a try. I was invited by a friend to have dinner here the other day. I frequent the Merritt Island area often and had never heard of this spot. We were immediately greeted by a super friendly and attentive wait staff. Then here came the meat! Tender, delicious, and generous cuts came to the table as fast as you could consume it. The steak here puts any other restaurant on the island to shame. My personal favorite was the garlic pichana. After eating to the point of exploding, we sat and soaked in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. I will definitely be returning soon! read more

On this website, they have them closed until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, but it is now open at 11 o'clock with a fantastic salad bar and meat bar. Prices are excellent service is excellent. This Brazilian steakhouse is authentic and delicious. We came back from Brazil and this local spot was exactly like what we couldn't get enough of on our trip. The salad bar is large and plentiful. They have hearts of palm, marinated cucumbers and veggies, soups, taco bar, and house made sauces. The chef cares what you like and how you like the meat prepared (medium, rare, etc.). Everyone working there is eager to serve, and your plate won't go empty unless you want it to! Full bar. Not a very large restaurant, but quite a few booths and some tables. The parking lot is usually pretty open. The music sets the right ambience and it's too loud. I'm a bad helper for not taking any pictures the few times I've been in, but it's a pile of deliciousness, not very pretty. Come hungry! read more

A good Place to eat on Merritt Island This is one of the option near to the Merrit Island Mall. It is on the south side of the road in a shopping center with a Harbor freight. There is plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. The restaurant is at the end of the line of stores that open onto the parking lot. This location has much to offer. It has a small drinking bar in the back left part of the open space. The decor seems nice with darker wood for the chairs and tables. There is a taco bar to the right as you enter and the kitchen is directly in front of the entrance. Seating is booths along the walls and tables in the middle. We visited for a friend's birthday. Most of us ordered the taco bar but the birthday person and their dad ordered the Steak House Rodizio option. The chef came out at least 4 times with the various meats and it looked delicious so, even though it may be a little pricey at ~ $42/person, my friends seemed to be enjoying it. The dinner buffet option was very good and cost ~$18/person. The waitress and chef were both very friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this eating option for others in the area. read more

My friends and I ordered the full rodizio, with unlimited buffet and a variety of delicious meats. I don't usually eat pork but the homemade sausage here was the best sausage I have ever eaten. The parmesan encrusted pork tenderloin was also very delicious. The atmosphere here is very "homey", with chef/owner Eddie making sure that all diners are taken care of. The house wine is good, the service is relaxed, and the meat is plentiful. The buffet has plenty to offer, but my advice is to go easy on it so you have plenty of room for meat. If you've eaten at a chain Brazilian steakhouse, you will find that the meat here is superior. Eddie knows how to cook and season meat. I have been here often for the lunch buffet, which is an excellent value. The rodizio is really worth it. I wish I had discovered it sooner. read more

I've had the pleasure of eating at Brazilian steakhouses in Rio, São Paulo, New York, L.A., San Mateo and in many other cities. Mike and I were out running errands when we spied Brasas. We were not expecting nor looking for a Brazilian steakhouse but once spotted we decided to investigate. Eddie, the owner greeted us and overviewed his menu and emphasized that meats are sourced from Brazil and all are cooked over mesquite charcoal. We made a reservation for the next evening and our anticipation for the impending beef injection grew with each passing hour. We decided to arrive early to catch the tail end of happy hour during which we enjoyed an ice cold Stella on tap at a very attractive price point. We next took in the salad bar that was fully stocked with fresh, crisp vegetables and other popular steakhouse sides like potato salad, pastas, and much more. I ate the greens and only sparingly as the star of this night's show is the meat. Salad dishes cleared we eagerly turned the coaster green side up and the protein onslaught began. Sirloin steak, garlic sirloin steak, flank steak, parmesan pork tenderloin, Brazilian sausages and barbecued chicken were served up on skewers to this diner's delight and by Brandon's skillful and generous hand. Alas, we had no room for what I'm sure are delicious desserts but we did undergo a protein injection rarely replicated and not often attempted by this traveler. If you're within 20 miles of Merritt Island, Florida and want to try or just want to add to your list of Brazilian steakhouses you've enjoyed, please do yourself and all friends the favor of supping at Brasas. Seen this place a million times going to Bizzaro's next door. Finally checked it out for dinner with a party of six. We had the Full Rodizio - Top Sirloin, Flank steak, Pork with Parmesan cheese, Brazilian sausage, chicken drumettes, and other meats. Salad bar has a hot and cold selection of standard fare and Brazilian specialties. For dessert we had Crème Broulee, others the cheesecake. Great experience! The wife and I had both gone to the old location in Cocoa Village several years back and it was underwhelming. Because of that, we had kinda written off this restaurant as a result. Pro tip - be sure to not look at interior photos in Yelp from more than a couple of years ago. Our greeter was the chef/owner and he sat us down with a smile, telling us about how he prepares the meat and asking us if we had any special requests or needs. Our waitress/host was equally nice, giving us the "lay of the land" and just the right amount of attention. The same goes for the server who gladly served generous cuts, made recommendations, and came back to us promptly with requested cuts of meat. All around, the staff was awesome. The meats were prepared to perfection and all were very flavorful. We ordered 2 drinks each and they were also delicious. The buffet/salad bar was well-stocked and looked fresh the whole time - no scorched food or empty bins here! At the end of the night, our waitress/host did tell us about some interesting options that are served during the week, so we have a lot to consider when making our next visit here. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed every bite. The price is on point with what you should expect of a Brazillian restaurant, which may be a surprise to some who are unfamiliar with the concept, but the tender cuts of meat are well worth it. Found out about this place in a foodie group and decided to check it out for my birthday dinner. I'm a huge fan of Brazilian steakhouses and wanted to see what they offered. They are somewhat different from the regular chain Brazilian steakhouses and offer a more intimate dining experience. I made a reservation just to be safe but when we arrived it was pretty empty which I didn't mind because it gave us time to take it all in without extra noise. We were greeted immediately and seated immediately. Our server explained the process and offered us to visit the cold bar. With the pandemic I was a little taken aback that they even had a buffet but he explained that if you have a face mask then you can get the items on the cold bar. They offer hand sanitizer and gloves to assist in serving. Everything looked fresh and yummy so I chose to get a little bit of everything. My favorites from the cold bar were the cucumber salad, balsamic tomatoes and the pasta dish. The black beans and rice were good but they could tone down on the salt a little bit. They also had two soups to choose from and I chose the Sancocho soup which was very good. They gave us time to enjoy our items before bringing out the meats. One thing I really liked is they asked what temperature we liked to enjoy our meats first before the brought them out. They cook all of the meats over mesquite rather than gas which gave a very nice flavor to each choice. There were so many choices of meats and I ended up full very quickly. My favorite meats were the Parmesan crusted pork tenderloin, the picancha which I could eat every day and the garlic sirloin. They have a full bar and can make just about anything. Definitely check out the Caipirinha, you won't be disappointed. They also have an espresso machine so they offer coffee and cappuccino. Don't skip dessert! The mesquite grilled pineapple with vanilla ice cream was a prefect way to end the evening. Service was awesome. The owner/chef even came out to serve some of the meats and explained that they will be doing another grand opening since things slowed down due to Covid-19. He said since buffets will be going away he is in the process of revamping how to serve the cold bar items and still keep the Brazilian steakhouse flair. I'm so glad we came here as it was nice to support a locally owned restaurant. We will be going back soon. read more

I did have 1 churrascaria experience many years ago but it wasn't as memorable as this one! Everything here was excellent. The meat was wonderful. We had flank steak, sirloin steak, garlic steak, bacon wrapped chicken and parmesan pork. They did not have any lamb because there was none to be found during the Buttigieg Supply Chain fiasco. We tried the traditional brazilian cocktail (Caipirinha), but I thought it was too sweet. First we made a trip to the vegetable tables. Everything looked fresh and was nicely presented. My favorites were the sliced beets, palm hearts and mushrooms. Then we turned our chit over to green and the meat orgy began! We each got a little bit of every meat they had that night. When asking each other which was our favorite, I said the one that is currrently in my mouth. We dined at a leisurely pace. Somehow we all made it through 3 cycles of veggies then meats. When we were looking for a place to eat dinner, I only looked at pictures and saw glowing reviews for this restaurant. I assumed incorrectly that I would be able to get something small to eat, and my husband would have plenty of options for a big meal. We were seated and ordered drinks before we discovered that it was one price for meats & soup/salad bar. Unfortunately, I had stomach pains and was overtired. My husband had a good appetite and was intrigued by the one price menu that allowed him to sample to his heart's desire all of the meats and items in the salad bar. For me, he was willing to go someplace else, offering to pay our waitress for the drinks in to go cups To entice us to stay, the owner (manager?) offered me a lunch menu price for the salad bar. So we stayed. But If you have a hearty appetite & adventurous spirit, this IS your place for dinner. I had spinach leaves & a couple of tomatoes from the expansive, extensive soup & salad bar. Husband only had whipped potatoes from the salad bar. He wanted to have room in his belly for the main meat course. And he did! He tried all of the meats, with a second helping of the sausage, which was his favorite. He thought the flank steak was a little dry, but still tasty. He truly enjoyed his meal. Almost too much! My small meal was less than $12, and his was about $33. We remembered to tip our wait staff 20%. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We would love to return when we are both healthy and hungry. Nothing wrong! First time there with another couple. We are not meat experts but we like meat and any kind of grilling. We were very pleased with the servers and cookers, they are so nice! All the meats were good, depending on the taste of everyone obviously! I thought sausages were greasy but sirloin very good, when others were saying that sirloin was too fatty and sausages were good...! The green salsa they bring is insanely delicious!!!! We have not tried all their sides, there are so many and what we've tried was very good. The only downside is they might be short staffed!
