It feels like a pediatric dental mill, (you know, like pill mills)...unlike other dentists, the parents are not allowed to accompany their children into the appointment...therefore we are unable to know what services were performed, if any. They return your child to you with nothing to say. I've brought my 6 and 2 year old girls here a few times. This last time we went, my girls had a cleaning. I took my son here once last year and you know what? Shame on me for taking him back thinking a different dentist would be better, because it wasn't. The receptionist wasn't friendly Or welcoming. The reception area not kid friendly. So far neither is anyone who works there. The first time the dentist was rough about grabbing my sons mouth to try to "squeeze" it open, mind you my son was about 10 months old at the time. I removed his hand from my sons mouth and the visit was over. I Never should have gone back. They called saying it was time for his first cleaning and I said no thank you I didn't like the dentist last time. They offered to schedule with someone else. Let me just say, they all must've went to school together cause this new one was just as rude too. How do you work with children for a living and have a so NO love for kids?! This dentist had no nice in him towards my son and so my son responded in kind and it was not the experience I want for son about the dentist so I cancled the appointment at that point. My son will not grow up being afraid of the dentist just cause these two jerks. Save yourself the headache and the disrespect and find somewhere else to take your kids. I have all my children going here, and I haven't had any issues staff is kind and informative also they are open late which is great for working parents. Cat was amazing! she saw my daughter iin distress after getting some work done and was quick to offer some face painting for my little girl which put a huge smile to her face! I even had my other child with me and she did some art on her hand, due to covid-19 no face but still as great! read more

I am writing this review because I feel it is my duty to warn other parents away from this establishment. We had taken our daughter here for her first cleaning and check-up, and it was fine. I thought the policy where parents couldn't go back with their kids was a little weird, but it's obviously in place because instead of separate offices, there is one giant room where several kids can be attended to at once, and they don't want it crowded with parents or have a bunch of adults near kids who aren't their own, watching their teeth get cleaned. Ok. I thought the little portholes you can look through were cute, and my daughter is pretty independent and brave, so this didn't bother me the way it might other parents. But then came the time we had to bring in our 18 month old son. The dentist who examined him did so for less than 2 minutes before telling my husband that his top 4 teeth would need to be extracted. (Ladies, do not allow your child to fall asleep at the breast at night without wiping down their gums/teeth afterwards.) We were horrified, sad, guilty, scared... After a little research we learned that extractions of baby teeth can affect speech and the direction in which the adult teeth grow in (hello speech therapy and braces). We decided to get a second opinion... The dentist who saw us (at Magic Smiles) expressed surprise when we told her about the first dentist's prognosis. Immediately she said the two front teeth were really not that bad at all. The ones on the sides were worse off but she still thought she could save them. Today was his procedure and she was able to save all 4 teeth... WTH Kidz Connection. You would have just yanked four of my baby's teeth out??? If it's just a cleaning, sure. Whatever. If your child needs any work done, take them somewhere else!!! read more

This place is a joke! I'm positive the dentist here are not certified doctors! My son had cavities put in which are now falling out. One of the cavities fell out a few months later and they felt they should charge me. The staff is extremely unprofessional. They stated they would research my issue and call back! If I could leave no stars I would. This place does not allow parents in the back with their kids. They dont accurately do insurance verifications. They have an anesthesiologist that does not accept any insurance so out of pocket cost is $700 per child. I can see where a payment from my insurance was made, however, they will not reimburse me for an out of pocket payment my insurance would have paid if they had completed that correctly. They call and text repeatedly to get confirmation of an appointment scheduled. I am not sure why the doctors will not allow parents in the back with small kids who need their parents. Going to the dentist is scary and that makes it worse. This office is a joke and have policies in place that are not in the best interest of the child. Do not take your kids here, you will spend more money than required. They will give you the run around. I do not return your calls but harass you when trying to confirm after you have confirmed. they can not do a simple insurance verification. Honestly this place should be shut down read more

I do not recommend this company, they are soooo frustrating to deal with! I moved away from Arizona a year ago but while I lived there I used them for dental and braces and if I could have Changed to a new dentist for braces I would have before I moved because they always messed up insurance as well as appointments. After we moved they called us to schedule SOOOO MANY TIMES I kept telling them we moved across the country but they called for at least 6 months. Also I have not been able to get my kids into a orthodontist in our new state because they are REFUSING to send over the kids's records and the new orthodontist want the records transferred over (understandable) all Dr's have records transferred but they will not do it at all! It's like a super secret plan they don't want anyone to know. They make my blood pressure go way up. No other place I've ever been to refuses to forward medical information. read more

Six month check-up for the 12 year old. Thankfully, this location is close to the house and they have extended hours. My oldest one was a patient. Now, my youngest one has been a patient for several years. Throughout the changes in the practice, they've always been good to the kids. The movies playing on the TV's help with distracting the kids. My daughter said so, anyway. Covered by most insurance and reasonably priced. read more

7th Street/Baseline location is staffed with employees who take no time to read over a patient file and could care less about patient. We came in for a temp. fix on my sons front teeth that was chipped. They fixed them there before and we had no problem paying to get them fixed again. We understood temporary and it could fall off. I made sure when booked the appointment I explained the issue and was told he was up for a cleaning also, which I said was fine we could get it done as well. Then at the appointment they said they could do everything except the temp fix because dentist wasn't in so we would have to bring him back. Following week we took him again and then the dentist refused to do it since he had done it already and it would just probably fall off again. It didn't matter that we were okay with paying for it. Now if that isn't irresponsible and negligent I'm not sure what is. Won't allow you to go back with your child either which is shady...especially knowing that I need to communicate with the dentist. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

I took my child here for a quick cleaning before braces as our regular dentist was not available. First let me say the staff was friendly and helpful. My dissatisfaction comes from the fact that parents are not allowed back with the children. You are advised to look through the glass if you would like to see your child. The Dentist never comes out to speak with you. Even after I expressed my concerns to staff he never came out. The Staff stated "There have been problems with parents telling him what to do." and "This is actually how it is done in most offices" Newsflash no it is not. How is it normal to send minors back with strangers? My child is 14 so I it was not a huge issue, however had I taken my 5 year old, there is no way they would of gone back alone. This Dentist seems as if he or the franchise of Kidz Connection just wants to collect money. Their office policy in my opinion shows their lack of respect for their customers. They never even take the time to meet you. That is bad business. I would never go here again, not even a quick cleaning. Also that was the quickest exam/cleaning ever, less than 10 minutes! My 6 year old had an appointment scheduled in Advanced today 2/28/18 for a few crowns and a few pulpotomy/root canals. I requested the day off work and showed up on time to the appointment. Just so they can let me know that they ran out of the sedation gas?! And might have to reschedule!! Very unsatisfied customer! I will be telling all my friends and family about this inconvenience. read more
