I am so thankful we found this place. My daughter loves it, more than school she says :). She is exposed to all sorts of activities, different age groups, and kids from across BUSD. She's always so excited to see her older friends from KFZ at school. She has gotten so much more resilient through this program. I really didn't want my son to be watching his I pad or TV over summer and was searching for a summer camp that looked fun. I cam across kids fit zone and after some heavy convincing he agreed to try it! Day 1 I was so nervous but he came home completely tired and with the biggest smile on his face. Then day 2 same thing. They have this app that they use and keeps you in the loop all Fay long. I get at least 5 pictures a day and today he actually got mad that we picked him up. The communication is top notch. I in passing expressed disappointment in something and got an email from the director right away. I didn't want to write this bc it's such a gem I don't want spots to fill up. read more

I am so thankful to have found this amazing gem in the heart of Brentwood. We just moved here so I needed to find an after school program and summer program for my son. This family owned super kid friendly place is very welcoming, professional, and my son loves it! My son is usually very slow to warm up but he wasted no time in joining the other kids on the first day of camp. They use an app and constantly update it so I know what my son is doing. I cannot say enough about Kids Fit Zone. My kids have been going here for a little over 3 years. The after school program is amazing! They have homework time, free play time, and fitness hour. Originally, I thought it was an amazing after school program but now I'm just waiting for the contract to end. My kids enjoyed it at first. PROS: 1. Kids get to do 1-2 classes/sports/day 2. They have a tutor to help with homework. 3. Staff is friendly. 4. The place is sanitary. CONS: 1. My children complain about being hungry with their small snack and watching other kids eat pizza (you have to pay an additional $5/kid/day for meals like that) 2. You have to do at least a 6 month contract and you can't get out of it, even if you lost employment (which was my case). 3. Charges aren't specified on invoices (like additional hours or water bottles). If your kids forget their water bottles, you get random charges for 2-8 water bottles with no specific dates or notification. 4. I put my account on hold since i couldn't cancel it for the summer and when I tried to put my kids back, transportation was no longer available (that means I have to get one kid at 2:20, another at 2:55 and then drop them off there and get them a couple hours later). I might as well keep them home. 5. I'm paying $200/week for 2 kids going 14.75/week (and on fridays they have to sit out for the advance class from 6-7pm). 6. My kids complain about going everyday because they either feel left out or get too hungry. I wish my kids would at least enjoy the program so the money would feel worth it. 7. It could be a little more organized and inclusive. Overall, I wouldn't put my kids in the program again. But, they are doing new construction soon so I'm sure it will get better. read more

Kids Fit Zone is an amazing Brentwood establishment! I was referred to them by a manager at P2P in 2017, and have loved them since day one. Our daughter is kind of a shy kid but Steve, Mari Car and the rest of their staff made her feel right at home. We have a crazy schedule and they have always been accommodating and made room for our daughter in their program when they were able. Sometimes we are not able to plan our schedule in time, and there isn't room for us to squeeze her in but we understand that it is just confirmation of what a wonderful program they have. We have been blessed to have our daughter grow up in this program, and are very excited for our son to join in the next few years. We signed our daughter up over the last 2-week break from school. I was slightly worried she wouldn't like it since she's 10, but I was wrong! They are amazing at catering to all the kids. She was kept busy the entire time and never once came home saying she was bored. I actually signed her up for more hours than planned, because she loved it so much! We were driving by 1 day and saw it, from the minute we walked in Ms. Car greeted us, she was very informative. They offer a program that allows your child 6 days a week to pick out of 3 different classes, yoga, calisthenics, and jui jitsu. This allows them more options. Scuba Steve, Mrs. Car and Rocky work together to come up with fun creative activities to keep the kids interested all while structured coaching. Kids Fit Zone is a great and energetic place for kids and adults alike in that while they have kids classes, they also offer adult classes. Being fresh to Brentwood and with work taking our family on quite the commute, we worried about where to send our child for after school care. We stumbled upon Kids Fit Zone and it was one of the many positives that have entered our lives in Brentwood. The staff and owners are excellent and truly care. They're truly innovative in that they introduce a healthy lifestyle in a fun manner to children, as well as teach Jiu-Jitsu as a means of sport, and importantly self defense to both the children and separately, the adults. Originally unsure where to send our child, our child now can't get enough of the Jiu-Jitsu and this is now a pleasant surprise in our lives and believe many parents and family members alike would find a similar feeling. read more

If your child is in day care, before or after school care and they don't come here they are missing out. And so are you as a parent!! I have never been so impressed with a childcare facility. My daughter has been in Cristian school after care, public school after care, private in home day care and I have never felt so safe having her in someone else's care. Here are just a few of the reasons; Steve and Maricar are friendly and fun but firm, they pick her up from school, they take her to ice cream and have special pizza days, they have a special app that notifies me all throughout the day constantly with photos of my daughter having fun and making friends, they tell me exactly what is in her folders and what homework she has and do her homework with her and report back to me if there is something I need to do, they teach them healthy eating, exercise and discipline is important. They hold classes such as yoga, Jujitsu and calisthenics that come with the cost of childcare, their fees are more than reasonable, They have a strict no electronics policy so my child will not be sitting in front of a screen for hours, I could probably name 20 more reasons why I love this place so much, but nothing can put a price on piece of mind. My daughter does not want to leave and is so bummed when she has to miss their classes. But the updates are truly my favorite! Being a more than full time commuting working mama it makes me feel more present in her life to see what she's up to all day. Kids Fit Zone is great! Miss Car and Steve make this place special! My son turns 4 in Dec and he takes the Little Fitness Class. He enjoys the class and the friends he has made. But what I really like about Kids Fit Zone is how I feel my son is in a SAFE, comfortable, and fun environment when I leave him for a couple of hours. In addition to the 1 hour fitness class, I pay extra for the hourly care so I can have 2 to 3 hours to run errands and clean the house. We started in the summer so once I felt comfortable (which was right away) and got to know Miss Car even more that's when I knew my son is in good hands when I leave. Stay at home moms can relate that a couple of hours are much needed just so you can take a shower in peace or go to the store without stressing for possible tantrums that might happen. What separates Kids Fit among the rest is besides from all the classes and programs that they have, they also have the pick-up service and the hourly care that they offer.. it's all in one! I highly recommend this place because it keeps my son happily busy (instead of watching TV) and the staff is all very nice and professional to talk to!
