We initially joined because the coaches were good and attentive to the needs of each child. In the recent months all the competent coaches left and the classes were full to the brim as well with 14 kids each hence we decided to discontinue with our 6 month membership. Worst of all was to find out they continued to bill us on a monthly basis after our 6 months ended. Apparently we needed to send them a cancellation notification 30 days in advance. I am sorry but most busy parents do not have time to read their fine print hence their business practice in auto billing is not ethical! Very Disappointed and will not return. read more

This company is very unprofessional and untrustworthy! I booked them for a government agency hosted event for children and parents. I should have known something was amiss when responses to my emails to confirm event details went south! There is NO number to actually speak with someone which is a bit scary when you are planning events and people are not responding to emails. As the event got closer, I had BASIC questions that went unanswered like, e.g., arrival/set-up time. The day of the event, KIDSTRONG DID NOT SHOW UP! It was a TOTAL embarrassment to the agency and a very bad reflection on myself and my position, as I booked them. I followed up with the local ATL office, and corporate or many occasions. Do you think anyone EVER responded to apologize or with an explanation?!? NO! This is the most unprofessional business I have ever worked with and would not recommend them to anyone! Had my sons 3rd bday here and it was reasonably priced for 15 kids. Right under $400. We didn't have to do anything but show up with a few decorations, cake, and pizza. The staff was very professional and set up everything! There were 4 small picnic tables for three kids. They were amazing with the kids and they ranged from 3-7. Our family has been attending KidStrong for several years now. Our son joined when he turned 2 (he is now 6+1/2), and our daughter at 2 as well (almost 3!). They love their workouts here, and the coaches are great. KidStrong has experienced considerable growth since our days at the Frisco location (we are now at Prosper). Our family has gained much skill, discipline, and capability thanks to the fantastic coaches and curriculum at KidStrong. Can't get this anyplace else. The ranking system is similar to a Karate classes belt system, with fun titles: Alpha, Hero, Maximus, etc. Our kids are full of pride when they wear their jerseys, and inspire leadership amongst the other kids thanks to the lessons taught. My son and I are absolutely obsessed with KidStrong! From the beginning to several classes in they are detail oriented, loving, and very caring about each and every kid! I want to start off and say that we do love this place but due to unfortunate circumstances and KidStrong not being able to work with us, we are canceling our membership. Two classes in and classes were canceled due to CDC compliance with Coronavirus. KidStrong offered classes online during this shutdown but as you can image, doing a circuit class with a 16 month old without being in an environment without equipment is pretty silly. It's like saying our swim class is going to offer swim lessons online during this time of shutdown and all you need is a bathtub. It's just not the same! Also, they didn't offer live scheduled classes that the kids normally attend. It was just prerecorded videos that are posted on FB for all ages. Try to tell a 16 month old to do a burpee, jumping jack, push up..... I asked for a reimbursement for the classes missed during this shutdown just because we are so new to the program and already put down $50 for the membership fee and $109 for this month. We were offered to put our membership on hold for $15 per month and after several emails back and forth with this location not addressing a possible reimbursement, I decided to cancel as that would be in our best decision. We have only throw money at this place. That is what they seem to care about and it doesn't matter what situation I am in. My $159 dollar one time class (first one is free) is going towards paying the coaches because they deserve to be paid but they don't care that I no longer have an income during this shutdown. I was also threatened that I signed a 6 month contact and would be paying a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the agreement (that would be $324 fee) but I only signed month to month. It just doesn't seem right and I feel it is best to cancel our membership due to situation and unwillingness to work with us. I would of gladly been a loyal member when this pandemic ends but unfortunately the damage is done. Please read the fine print and don't get in this situation like we did. read more

My sons LOVE their KidStrong class. They look forward to the challenges and obstacle courses every week. We've done martial arts and boys' gymnastics, but this is the best option for us so far. The boys' confidence is growing and they're becoming stronger and more agile. The younger one's focus is increased too. I love that they get to do a "sport" together. They even recite the motto "I am brave, I am strong, I can do this!" as needed during the week. KidStrong is an investment in my kids. read more

We signed our child up in February and refused to sign the paperwork off the bat. Refused to allow them to charge our debit card "at will" and did not want to have to remember to withdraw our child, in writing, at least a month in advance. We were told by a manager that he understood and would work with us so we made a verbal agreement that superseded the original agreement. We agreed to call in verbal authorization to charge the card which we did until August. We offered to write a withdraw letter in February and we were told that KidStrong would not keep it. It would be best just to have the understanding that we are doing one class for 6 months. Well, I reminded KidStrong on August 2nd and 3rd by email and text. No one replied. I thought all was well until I see that they charged my card without permission. I called to get a refund. Well, conveniently, the manager I talked to is out the entire month of August and they have no way of contacting him and verify. They told me I was welcome to bring my student in until September 17th since they could not refund me my money. This is a scam! We read that they did this before signing up and so we took all precautions so that it would not happen to us and they did! They stole $109 and refuse to straighten out the issue but I can pay for the membership they are forcing down my throat. Someone needs to step in here. Why should I pay one penny more for a six month class than I did? Why should I have to tell them "no"? This is the equivalent of, "you must uncheck this box or we will keep charging you". I "unchecked" the box in February, in plenty of time. I am owed a refund and KidStrong should feel lucky that I don't go after them for illegally charging my card. Bad business!!! read more

I had my son's birthday party here over 2 years ago and suddenly my friends and family who signed waivers at the party are getting harassing text messages and calls from "Shanda" wanting them to join. I've asked them to stop contacting my friends and family, as none of us are interested in joining/rejoining, and they said they would stop but they have not.. My friends and family live about 3 hours from the closest Kidstrong location and even after being told they're not interested, Shanda continues to harass them. It's embarrassing for me to have to apologize to people reaching out to me wondering why they're being contacted repeatedly. Please save yourself some embarrassment and frustration by avoiding this place. It's not all it's made out to be anyway. read more

I take the girl I nanny here and she LOVES IT. She's having her birthday party here this weekend! It's a kids gym, they do ninja courses and lots of gymnastics type activities/kid workouts. They cycle out their courses monthly, which challenges the kids. They teach them to strong physically and mentally. They have a variety of classes geared towards all ages. The girl I nanny has so much gained confidence and learned so many skills through each class. Each class had two professional coaches that teach. Every single coach I've come across is very knowledgeable and very friendly! The owners are also very kind. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Alert, if you sign up with Kidstrong, please do not use auto charge. They will charge you under any circumstance no matter what, and they will not issue refund but only having you cancel your membership. We were charged for the class during the lockdown from March to May... even though the whole center was closed. we were not trying to get the refund back then because we were trying to support small business. What we expected is to wait till we are ready to go back so we might be able to use the credits (approximately $270). After talking to the center several times, including the owner, the choices we have is either signing for classes now (in December ) or close our account, there is no refund or extend credits for us to use. We have close contact with elders and also a baby at home, we are not planning to take the risk to go into any in person class. We have membership with swimming school, Taekwondo classes, all of them will let us use the credit whenever we are ready for class. Only kidstrong that gives us pretty much no option but cancel the membership. They were nice enough to not charge 2 month of holding spot fee( 15 dollars a month), so we can have our spot but we have to sign up right now or cancel the membership forever without getting the three month refund. I don't think this is reasonable but the owner has no interest on making this situation better, so we had to cancel our membership eventually. We all learned a lesson, when you try to be nice and thinking business might struggle during this pandemic and they will try their best to do the right thing... it's not possible. It is not the right thing to do when you closed the center... You still keep charging membership, there is no any gym or any activities are like this. We have loved kidstrong... referred so many friends here... definitely love the coaches... but the way the business runs is very questionable. read more

The curriculum is strong and developed strategically to better prepare the littles for success in school (grip for writing etc). They work on physical as well as mental and character skills.
