Water is $5 so definitely pack your own. It gets hot jumping around. It also gets crowded so beware when booking your time...I recommend early morning to avoid a rush! There's plenty of seating. My two year old ran off so many times so beware of small children. There's one way in and out and I didn't see anyone monitoring.

It's also very clean and usually doesn't get overly crowded, which I appreciate. The downside for me has been the customer service. Since they opened, I've mostly seen male staff, and unfortunately some of them seem to lack patience and communication skills when interacting with both kids and parents. Working in a kids environment definitely requires a lot of patience and friendliness. Another thing I didn't like is that they charge for an extra adult. So if both parents come with one child, one parent has to pay extra. I've been to many indoor playgrounds and have never had to pay for a second adult, so that's honestly one of the main reasons I stopped going. The location is convenient, but I do think it's a little pricey for what it offers. Memberships or punch cards would make it feel less of a rip off.

She didn't speak English but we managed to communicate through translator app and she was friendly and sweet. They have ducks, goats, donkeys, bunnies, lots of different chickens, cats, guinea pigs, an emu, a pig, tortoises. I wish we could've held the bunnies or gone inside the goat pen. There was no staff out in the farm to ask if we could so we just walked around. The cats are very friendly and so are the goats. The pens were clean, with fresh water and food. It was hot and there were a lot of flies but it's to be expected here in south Florida during the summer on a farm. In the back of the property, although not related to the farm I don't think, were horse stables. We meandered over there and said hello to them in their pens. A small farm but very cute.

There are no shaded areas so plan to visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon. However, if you end up here right in the middle of the day, don't worry! The park does close on Wednesday mornings for landscaping but reopens at noon. On weekends, it definitely gets more traffic, but it never feels overwhelming thanks to the space and layout. The size is manageable for walking and the circulating tram provides a nice quick overview (and a bit of a rest). The paths are mostly shaded. The staff are truly dedicated to their mission. The wildlife encounters are informative and fun. The sculptures throughout are whimsically realistic. Everyone (except the cashier at the snack stand near the flamingos) was friendly and helpful. Free roaming peacocks and other critters make walking around even more fun. Give yourself at least 3 hours so you can see everything and time the educational presentations without being rushed. Things do run on schedule. It was not overly crowded at 2p on a weekday. Every fee was reasonable and we happily added a bit more to the donation boxes. A lot goes on behind the scenes in the care and feeding of the animals. They should somehow let the public see some of that-- I'm sure that would compel more donations!! Highly recommended and we'll return when next in the area.
