It's also very clean and usually doesn't get overly crowded, which I appreciate. The downside for me has been the customer service. Since they opened, I've mostly seen male staff, and unfortunately some of them seem to lack patience and communication skills when interacting with both kids and parents. Working in a kids environment definitely requires a lot of patience and friendliness. Another thing I didn't like is that they charge for an extra adult. So if both parents come with one child, one parent has to pay extra. I've been to many indoor playgrounds and have never had to pay for a second adult, so that's honestly one of the main reasons I stopped going. The location is convenient, but I do think it's a little pricey for what it offers. Memberships or punch cards would make it feel less of a rip off.

All I know is I felt like I was at my cousin's house and they happened to have animals. There were no directions or explanations...until it came time to pay. Now that part was explained perfectly. Honestly, I probably could have seen the same thing at my local shelter and saved $30. I'm hoping the money goes toward helping the animals, but it's really hard to tell. They have goats, plenty of birds, llamas, pigs, and horses. I wouldn't call it a true petting zoo because most of the petting is done through a gate. If you want a horse ride, you have to ask. No one offers or tells you about it. Everything looked like it could use some updating or repairs, and the overall vibe from most of the staff was, "Please hurry up so we can get back to what we were doing." A couple of employees were pleasant and helpful, but they weren't going above and beyond. They simply gave us what we asked for. Overall, I probably won't be back. At least my $30 went toward helping the animals...I hope.

Of course the highlight was the seesaw. Haha. Maria Munoz is the owner and she is very sweet. Answered any questions for the adults or kids and allowed our group to take over the farm for a few hours. Tons of animals here...bunnies, goats, pigs, emus, horses, chickens and more. Admission is free but donations are always welcome! Please consider donating to help offset the cost of maintaining this farm. Come check out this place with your friends or family. Really just a cute farm. I honestly didn't even know this was here. It's located in a neighborhood. There is also a horse stable next to the farm, Showclass Stables. Now she is 6 and we returned after not coming for a while thinking she was to grown and her and her bestie didn't come near us for over two hours playing pretend. There are no shaded areas so plan to visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon. However, if you end up here right in the middle of the day, don't worry! Your kids will be excited to cool down at the adjacent water park- also free! In between the city and water park there is a nice mostly shaded playground. This was such a fun place to visit! There is a big mall within a 10 min drive so you can make this a day trip!

Flamingo Gardens is one of our favorite places in South Florida. Honestly, I'd even call it a…read morepeacock garden because there are so many of them wandering freely throughout the property. I especially love visiting during the winter months when the weather is cooler. It's the perfect time to slow down, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and have a little picnic with the kids. There are plenty of peaceful spots to sit, relax, and watch the peacocks walking around. The grounds are always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. When you buy your tickets, you can also purchase bird food. We fed both the flamingos and the peacocks, and while it was a fun experience, here's my little tip--don't feed the peacocks from your hand unless you're ready for a pretty strong peck! I learned that one the hard way. There is also a small café, guided tram tours, and on weekends they often have live music, especially in the evenings or during holiday events. Around Christmas, the gardens are beautifully decorated with lights, making the whole place feel even more magical. If you're looking for a relaxing day surrounded by nature, Flamingo Gardens is definitely worth a visit.

So get ready to see some amazing ducks, flamingos and peacocks roaming around. We loved seeing all the different birds, alligators etc.
